the "you were always its favorite" hitting TOO HARD right now, considering every time lottie has betrayed natalie, it's been (in my reading) for her own safety. that fucking affirmation in the adult timeline despite it all, oh my gOOODDDD.

Vaggie: there's an army of exorcists coming and only you can tell me how to fight them off
Carmilla: ok here's the deal

I know everyone thinks Lottie wasn't popular because she was lonely and I get that, but has anyone considered she wasn't unpopular? Seeing her in the pilot she was pretty confident and snarky. Honestly pretty similar to Tai.
I think there's a distinction to be made here with the difference of being alone and being lonely. Lottie was not alone. She had friends. If no one else, Tai and Van. Taissa literally slapped her ass in the pilot.
She is lonely, but I wouldn't say she was unpopular. She was rich and had parents who were never home, which meant there's a high possibility she threw parties. That kind of thing would make her popular.
Lottie's lonely. Not alone.
