all tattoos are black and white , save for where color is directly mentioned .
▌ears : two on each lobe , and a tragus , daith, and two helix's on each ear . her ears also have some tattooed lines on the cartilage, like permanent helix's in a lower placement. ▌torso : the triple moon sign on her upper back , not between her shoulder blades but not immediately at the base of he neck ; a black and white candle as a chest piece on her sternum , and a bandaid over a faded scar on her shoulder , with “whoops!” in the bayland font beneath it . ▌arms : a spiderweb around her left elbow, the spider suspended down the length of her forearm ▌hands : finger tattoos with her big three astrological signs , as well as some palmistry tattoos ; a “third eye” with space coloring on the back of her right hand ; on her left hand , the spider from the web lives on her pinky finger . ▌legs : on the front of her thighs , two inverted torches , one on each thigh ; one with black flame and one with red . on her calves , she has a void fox - the back half on her left , the front half on her right , as if it is running through a portal . it is surrounded by poppies , which are on her lower calf / around her ankles .
maggie has a lot of predator animal fear in her childhood, being raised by lions (seeing the acts they commit in exacting detail to survive and even collaborating and helping and committing those acts as well, and knowing if this is what they can do, at their scale, what happens if one of them hurts another, or worse, adopts the presence of a larger predator like the gods and the fear that one day they will run out of resources and be forced to turn on each other because there is scarcity in all times) but as she gets older it really does turn more into prey animal rage (because she never was a lion in the first place. she was a fox, at best. a hare, most likely. designed to run and be cunning and out think her circumstances and hating hating hating her circumstances that were constructed long before she was born, the murderous rage and desperation to never again be in that trap of an island, literally or metaphorically) and i think that's neat :)
maggie's short swords need names. she's got two of 'em, they're silvered, can be used to channel some of her magic, and i'm torn between them being joke names or being like, named after concepts

upon more thought , what if her father was an anachronastic quic.ksilver-esque character . someone who was on a mission through time , stopped to mess around , and accidentally made a child with someone who would later join the brotherhood with ma.gneto . maybe the character only seems fast , but he's really bending time ? small wormholes just for him to mess around with ?
her mother's telepathy was strongest with animals and illusions ; she specialized in making people firmly believe they were animals , down to movements , habits , and mannerisms . maybe she's more powerful if she uses a particular plant that allows her to manipulate reality ; literally turning people into animals .
this would give maggie the softball set up to be connected to portals & travel ( through her father ) + illusions & substance use ( through her mother ) .
high key thinking about giving maggie a mut.ant ver.se / gen. superpow.ered ver.se

maggie loves giving nicknames and pet-names to folks , including inanimate objects . she named her car patroclus . nicknames for pan include panini , panificent , panorama , pandemonium , pantry guardian , peter pan , peter parker , spiderman , etc. her terms for hermes are almost as lengthy , every riff off dad , papa , pops , etc. is on the table . if you have a nickname , nicholasname , or pet-name , she really cares for you .
