Dilla and Caleb meet baby Miles, and adopt him not long after! Love at first sight đ An alternative to this:
My heart broke and melted for Spider/Mile's hardships and neglect, therefore me and @katerinaaqu keep including him in our Avatar AU, and I'll be damned if I won't draw this sweet lad the loving family he deservesđ„°
Read the first chapter of âFrom sky to seaâ , a fanfic written by @eirianerisdar , I got inspired to make a tiny AU. I present Metkayina!Spider âš
In this AU, Tonowari, while visiting in the Omatekaya, had found young Spider in the area and after growing attached to him, decided that he had to take the boy and so, without much resistance, he did. Years later, the blonde blossoms into a fine young man, famous for his physical strength and industriousness (or more like stubbornness), but his past comes back to haunt him when the Sully family begs for refuge in Awaâatlu. He reconnects with his old friends and eventually faces the clone of his biological father. What will happen thenâŠ?..
Who knows! Headcannon time đ
Deep inside, Spider is afraid that if he doesnât do his damn best and work hard, he might loose his place among the people. He often pulls way more than his weight and exhausts himself, so the rest of the fam make sure to reassure him about it.
Heâs a very chill older sibling. While fairly responsible, heâs still quite playful and is known as the âvillage jesterâ. Very good with little kids and loves entertaining them. Will not stop his siblings from getting themselves into trouble but will tell them that whatever theyâre about to do is stupid af.
He and Aonung bully each other CONSTANTLY. Aonung is a little shit, but Spider had learned to fire back. Hates it when he and his gang of jocks pester people and bluntly calls him out on it. They fight a lot because of that, especially when the Sullys arrive.
Aonung may or may not be jealous that the sully siblings get along with Spider so well. He wishes he could have a relationship as open as they do and hates Kiri the most because of that. That girl and the blonde become practically inseparable when they reunite and it rubs him the wrong way.
With Tsierya, Spider turns into the biggest hype-man. He supports and complements her constantly, as well as does her hair. Their relationship pisses Aonung off as well.
When the Sullys arrive and Spider reconnects with them, she begins feeling a bit insecure. She knows that her big bro comes from the forest and often misses it, so in her darkest moments she gets scared that the boy might leave with them when the threat blows over. She doesnât voice her concerns though, as she does not want to ruin her siblingâs fun.
Ronal was initially wary of the demon boy, but he grew on her, especially when she heard of all the neglect heâs endured. It did not feel right to leave such a sweet kid up to fate and now he is her son as much as Aonung. He helps her with the chores a lot and even opts to tag along with her and Tsireya when they cook. It makes for good bonding time.
It is more difficult with Tonowari, though. On one hand, this man saw Spider at his worst, his rock bottom, when he was an abandoned nobody, but on the other, heâs still a chief and The blonde wants to make him proud and show that he did not make a mistake when adopting him. Tonowari tries not to let his son spiral though, and reassured him that all he wants for him is to be happy, as he wants that for all of his children.
âWhat happened to his chest tho?â

We got our first official look Peylak, oloâeyktan of the Wind Traders who are known as the Tlalim clan!!
@cyren-myadd @nilnether Oh, both are delicious ideas! Spider gets closure that, despite having fought on the wrong side of the war, his mother loved him very much, and that, through hell and high water, she will always be with him. Maybe being dead gives Paz a clear understanding of Eywa, and that human souls can be embraced by the Great Mother. Paz latches onto Spider and follows him wherever he goes. She's a voice in his ear, a lullaby in the dark, eyes on the back of his head, always watching his back and warning him of unseen dangers.
Also, Spider meeting the real Quaritch's soul would be a horror movie all on its own because the man died bitter and hateful, unable to move on and still rejecting the will of Eywa even in death. Even better if his father's cruel spirit goes out of its way to attack Spider, scratching and clawing at him until Spider escapes, leaving behind the howling spectre. As for Neteyam, I can definitely see a situation where Spider willingly leaves with the Scientists back to Hell's Gate.
Everyone just assumes that Spider is only going back because he wants to be with his own kind, but Spider is on a mission, and it's to bring his brother's spirit back home where he belongs. He finally puts Neteyam to rest, and after a long and deep heart-to-heart with his brother, Spider feels more at peace than he has in years. He does not return to the reefs, but travels all over Pandora, helping more wayward spirits with his mother's spirit coming along for the ride.
Maybe Neteyam visits him in his dreams, where they catch up on all the years they've lost.
Imagine Spider having the gift to commune with the spirits of the dead, Na'vi, and humans. Spirits are everywhere in the forest (more appeared after the great battle) â watching him practice his archery, guiding him back to Hell's Gate in the dark, and whispering stories to him. Some are peaceful and content, while others are restless, especially those who died violently or don't know they're even dead.
Naturally, Spider keeps this to himself because he's afraid of being further ostracized. Instead, he decides to see this gift as a good thing because at least he has friends to talk to. He doesn't care if Lo'ak thinks he's weird for talking to himself or staring off into space. Spider sees fallen Naâvi warriors from the past, human researchers and soldiers who died on Pandora, and even little children who perished when the Tree of Souls was destroyed. They sometimes speak to him, asking for his company or to listen to their stories.
Maybe it's not healthy to spend hours alone with just the dead for company, maybe it's not normal that he prefers sleeping outside in the company of spirits then with the living back at Hell's Gate, and maybe he made a mistake venturing off alone to live in isolation because he's found more belonging with the dead then with the living.
What is with the tiktok side of the avatar fandom and their weird obsession over hating on Spider, referring to him as dirty, picturing him as the sully familyâs unwanted / disgusting dog or just generally wanting him to die âespecially if it would get them Neteyam back. My boy does not deserve this.
so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god

So, I've been having thoughts about Spider wielding Chaos magic.
Crazy, right? In a galaxy where blue people exist and humans have found a way to colonize planets, red magic wouldn't be too farfetched.
That would be absolutely wildâSpider awakening as a Chaos witch in a moment of extreme pain and trauma, unleashing a force that he never knew existed. It would make him a terrifying and awe-inspiring figure on Pandora, a force of nature devoted to Eywa and the planet of his birth. Throw in Kiri, and you've got two overpowered siblings.
Anyway, here's a drabble:
Captured by the RDA, Spider endures days of torture as they demand the location of the Sullys. They push him past his limitsâelectric shocks, water deprivation, beatingsâuntil something inside him snaps. Itâs not just pain that fuels the transformation, but sheer, unfiltered rage. He had spent his entire life being nothing but a pawn to everyone. A demon to the Naâvi, a prisoner to the RDA, an afterthought to the humans of Hell's Gate. No more.
The air distorts. The room trembles. A deep crimson glow seeps from Spiderâs fingers, crackling and sparking like liquid fire. He doesnât thinkâdoesnât even understand whatâs happeningâbefore an explosion of red chaos energy erupts outward, flaying the RDA soldiers alive. Metal warps and melts, bodies twist and contort, their screams merging into a sickening cacophony of agony. Blood paints the walls.
Quaritch barely has time to register whatâs happening before he bursts apart, his entire form breaking down on a molecular level.
Spider stands at the epicenter of the carnage, breath heaving, eyes glowing a deep, menacing crimson. His feet leave the floor as he ascends, floating weightlessly, surrounded by swirling tendrils of chaotic energy. He looks down at the ruin he has created, the shredded remains of his captors, the metal reduced to slag.
And for the first time in his life, Spider feels powerful.
He doesnât run. He doesnât hide. He flies, the red glow of his magic cutting across the Pandoran sky like a falling star of crimson.
The Omatikaya stare in shock as he arrives, his form wreathed in pulsing red light. He doesnât wait for their judgment. He knows what he must do. The RDA has taken everything from him, from the Na'vi, from Eywa, from this world. Jake Sully had done what he could, but these demons were relentless in their pursuit for more. Never again.
With a single whisper, the forest bends to his will. The skies darken. The very fabric of reality trembles as he vanishes in a flicker of crimson energy, reappearing in the heart of Bridgehead City.
And then, with a single motion of his hand, he tears it apart.
Buildings collapse. Mechs crumple like paper. Soldiers scream as the very air around them shreds them into nothing. There is no mercy, no hesitationâonly raw, undiluted vengeance. The Wrath of Eywa.
Spider doesnât stop until the RDA is gone. Until their machines are dust, their weapons are ruins, and the very land they corrupted is cleansed by his power. As the last embers of destruction fade, he stands amidst the wreckage, his red eyes burning like twin suns. He is no longer just a stray human, no longer the son of a demon.
He is the harbinger of chaos.
And Pandora is his to protect.
Miss Wion :) She needs a rider haha.
calling it now. Spider is gonna "prove himself" in the next film, and the Haters are gonna realize their arguments on hating him are baseless. and half of them are gonna become fans and repeat what we've been saying for years like they're Einstein s d I'm already ready to crash out over it.
been seeing theories posted places that have been said for years that are just straight up common sense by people who previously despised him before the trailer leaks came out.
the next couple years are gonna be rough for us true Spider fans

Not so friendly reminder that you CANNOT be an Avatar fan (Iâm talking about the movies but it works for atla as well) and be a zionist, or a white supremacist, or a bigot in any way shape or form.
I know most of you people in the fandom are actually white supremacists and absolutely refuse to admit the very clear metaphor of the movies, but whether you like it or not the Na'vi ARE inspired and are supposed to represent real Indigenous peoples of Earth. If you seriously think that âitâs just fictionâ and âtheyâre aliens so concepts of our world donât apply to themâ I beg of you, please turn your brain on and try watching the movies with your eyes actually open.
Even ignoring the obvious white-savior plot of the first movie (another fact you are not ready to discuss nor willing to admit), nothing changes that the Na'vi are real in our world, they simply exist in a different form, and news flash: theyâre not white! And if you love the world of Avatar so much, but you refuse to acknowledge the struggles of Indigenous people, the real âNa'viâ of Earth, then you donât care about or understand the movies in the first place. If you are enraged by the RDA destroying Hometree and slaughtering hundreds of innocent Indigenous Na'vi and their land, but you donât spare half a thought for the actual existing Indigenous people that are currently facing the same and even far worse issues, and who the Na'vi purposefully parallel, then you have no business being a fan of this franchise.
[Quick note: I know many people believe fandom places should stay âuntouched by politicsâ, and I agree to a certain extent. It is more then right wanting to escape this world, but categorically ignoring real life issues is a privilege. When talking about a franchise like this that has specific themes, it is impossible to never bring up real-world issues, because thatâs what the entire message of the movies is rooted in. Art is not separate from real life, and while you should absolutely enjoy your passions with little worry of everything else, maybe sometimes a few thoughts on these topics wouldnât be bad, even if they only stay in your mind]
If you feel called out, then you should ask yourself why.
