That's why Raleigh Becket literally refers to fighting kaiju as fighting the hurricane.

I just learned there's a thing in ecosystem building called a Soft Landing where you plant lots of herbaceous flowers and other non-woody materials beneath a tree so that if a bug falls off a branch while pupating they will be caught and safe :)

This Ficus altissima tree, was planted in 1935 in tribute to the Keepers who had lived at the Jupiter lighthouse. in Jupiter Florida. One single plant spread itself outward into many, here is a view of it's root system, one up close and the from a distance.
