Happy Mother's Day to mamas all across the globe. None of us would be here without you.

In Lugubriosity, Frisk had two mothers, her bio mom, and Toriel. She definitely wouldn't have made it out of Papyrus' grips without Toriel's help and guidance. In Fawn, I want to introduce Toriel a bit earlier. Maybe her dynamic with the Serif Brothers will be the same. Maybe she would've never been friends with Sans to begin with (he is a violent drug addict). Maybe she doesn't live completely alone in the Ruins, but maybe the Ruins is another neighborhood?

So many ideas!

Also, I believe this is the final design for Frisk. What do you guys think?

Post #27 - Plans of the Past and for the Future

So I'm 9 days off, but I wish you all a very happy New Year! I have a big post coming up soon (I know I said that in October) as well as a detailed road map for the FAWN project. Some things have changed...again, but these changes need to be made to ensure we actually get a finished product. I'll explain it more in that post.

As for this post, I found some old plotting for The Salt Circle that I thought I'd share just to get back into the swing of posting. I used a program for the map but I cannot recall which one off the top of my head as this was about two years ago. You can see through the list below I was attempting to better gauge each skeleton. I also had some very very rough sketches that I started for each version of the brothers. I might clean those up and post them in the future. Don't let me forget because I tend to do that.

I'm slow to update, but I made a promise to myself that I will never drop a story even if I temporarily fall out of love with it. But, of course, that might mean a story will drag on for years and years--this year I am going to make an effort to change that starting with me posting the last 10 chapters of the Sonic fic.

So many stories, and so little free time.

Post #3 - Fish Sticks

I have landed! Its only been a long, stressful, and expensive as fuck journey, but I’m finally in the tropics. I have to say that I've never seen water so clear and blue in my life. Its definitely making me want to throw a swimsuit on, and take a dip in the ocean, as if I don't have a fear of getting swept out to sea.

Speaking of water, I was inspired to draw Undyne today. I know we are all aware of her appearance in game, and you might be thinking she's too dainty to be Undyne. You're right. I wanted her design to lean more into her siren side—a beautiful temptress luring sailors to their deaths. Only she's a lesbian, only she's obsessed with Papyrus for some reason. 

We shall blame her overbearing mother for that. 

In Fawn, Undyne won't be a temptress beyond her appearance. I intend to keep her personality the same except when she's alone with Papy. Just like in Lugubriosity, I want to make it clear that this relationship is abusive. Let's hope that this go around she'll put her foot down and regrow that backbone, but then again, any person who's willing to help a predator abuse children doesn't deserve mercy. 

woah, i just had to say, i was reading "immature intrest" on a03, and you genuinely might be one of the best writers i have ever come across on that site. originally, when i saw the tags, i was scared it was going to be another weird insane fetish fic that i was going to traumatize myself with 😭 but holy shi u blew me away dude. its so well written, and ur ability to write such complex subjects is astonishing. its the first time im very avidly following a fic! im js hoping for a happy ending 😭

Aww! Thank you so much for this very kind comment. I will admit that Immature Interests was just one factor that inspired me to try my hand at an original novel. I’m letting my creativity run wild while still sticking closely to a plot. It’s a hard story to write, but one one that I enjoy.

Post #25 - Lizard Daddy

The title in the image does not say "Ai", but "AL". I just now noticed that it looks that way lol.

As I continue to update "The Worst Kinda Curse", I thought creating some concept art for Alphys' father, Al, would be fun. In the fic, he's described as big and imposing, but I have this habit of humanizing the monsters. So, I gave him two forms just to visually play around with different ideas. I like his color scheme as it reminds me of a rooster.

Would anyone care to see more sketches of characters from that story? I might make a few for "The Salt Circle" too.

Will Chara play a more crucial role in Frisk's survival than just the seemingly split personality that took charge when Frisk felt overwhelmed by the assaults she was receiving?

You know, I’m not sure what to do with Chara. On one hand, I found the split personality had contributed to a lot of major plot points, mainly related to Toriel, but I also feel like Chara could do more. I have been debating on whether or not to change her backstory (again, I guess that would rely on the AU). Should she be removed altogether?

Maybe Chara was a victim of CSA and it contributed to her death, so as a result she returned as a spirit guide for Frisk? Maybe she isn’t dead at all, (nor is Asriel) and instead she’s a princess locked away in a tower because Asgore doesn’t want to kill her for her soul and he doesn’t want the rest of monsterkind to attempt it? But then we must ask the question of how the monsters were trapped in the first place, and why Toriel ran away (though, she was being abused by Asgore in Lugubriousity, but I doubt she is the type of mother who would leave that situation if she was unable to take her children with her)? Perhaps Chara (and Asriel) do live with Toriel and Asgore simply believes his family is dead?

I definitely want to do more with Chara, I simply need to figure out how to iron out the details. I’d love some suggestions if you have any. They honestly help tremendously.
