idk if anyone else picked up on this but when shu yi says he has a girlfriend and goes on about how women are better, it was like he was taunting shi de. trying to hint at or allude to the fact that he “knows” he cheated without words. obviously shi de didn’t pick up on it because he didn’t cheat on shu yi, much less with a women, but i’m thinking shu yi didn’t want to make him jealous as much as he wanted to make him feel guilty. jealousy was just a bonus lol.

i also think the moment in the beginning where shi de brings him into his office the first time and apologizes, and shu yi responds with a softer more vulnerable “for what?” that he was expecting shi de to apologize for “cheating”. and when he didn’t he lashed out and that led to taunting him later at his house, he wants him to own up to it.

SOUTH AFRICA has been having an unofficial civil war for the past 20 years but things have been escalating until 2 days ago when former ANC president Zuma was arrested. Things went from a tense 8 to 100 real quick as sporadic and violent riots broke out as pro zuma supporters took to the streets. They have burnet down malls. Looted and destroyed countless shops. Killed a journalist. Injured many others. The rioters have even taken a town hostage. No info is able to be gained on that town. This morning the rioters tore down the gates for the animal enclosures at nature reserve. The covid vaccine laboratory is on fire. Kzn has been on shutdown since yesterday. Journalists are falling left and right and the violence only continues. My people are dying. Civilian milita have been working alongside police to try curb the riots and have nothing to show for their help. Things are just getting worse and worse and closer and closer. Please reblog and help raise awareness of these violent atrocities. Cars are being bombed with people still driving. Our cities are burning.

Cape Town was on the verge of running out of water. The South African city of 3.7 million people had suffered years of drought. But after nearly running dry earlier this year, the reservoirs are now rising thanks to rain, conservation efforts, and engineering fixes.

The city’s largest reservoir—Theewaterskloof—holds 40 percent of Cape Town’s water storage capacity, so it’s a good barometer for the amount of water available. Natural-color images, captured by Landsat 8, show the change in water levels at Theewaterskloof between July 22, 2017, and July 9, 2018.
