I’ve only talked about my hoodies so far, so let’s talk about Sellerstale!

When I got to play Undertale last year, and when I fell in the fandom, at first I didn’t like AUs. I wanted to stick to the game… but as I dwelled into this fandom, I came to like many of them, especially the most “mainstream” ones, people can use them into very interesting ways!

So I thought about what I like about Undertale, and what I like about the AUs… and suddenly I came up with my own idea. Most AUs are centered around the same characters *cough cough* Sans *cough cough* but I like EVERYBODY in this game. So I thought it would be fun to give the main stage to different characters, this time.

Hence: Sellerstale! The AU where the vendors swaped with the main characters.

While I’m usually not very imaginative, when I do get an idea, I like to work on it. So I did. And everything kinda fit together, and I could make this universe into a very coherent one.

Sooooooo I started the fanfiction. I can’t draw because of my arm problems (and I never was very good at it anyway), so I asked for help, and @hotaro-sui answered skdjfhskjdhfksjdhfkjshdkfjhqksjhqiu thank you so much! I’m spending a lot of time dwelling on the large ideas, and the events, but having designs really gives… shape to my ideas! I want this AU to be very complete, detailed and consistent, but also something that could interest other people, where others can give ideas, add little details here and there, and shoot their canons and theories!

I’m writing in French, but I’m looking for someone who would like to help me translate it in English, that would be super helpful!

D3 - Hacker Clan

I guess I’ll make a little synopsis of Sellerstale so far, so that people who can’t read French will get a better idea of this little AU of mine! Frisk fell in Mt. Ebott, delibarately. The humans on the surface are a warring species, so much that this kid who believes in the old legends, thinks that monsters can’t be worse. And so they go in the mountain. The first monster they encounter is… Temmie! The creature is curious about the humanz, but hurts them unintentionnally… until a bunny-lady comes to their help. She lets them explore the Ruins so they can get used to the place. On their way Frisk meets… a very sassy and moody ghost named Mettaton! Frisk flirts their way until Mettaton is in a good mood.

After many puzzles and some exploration, Frisk finally gets to the bunny-lady’s house, and she proposes to house them until they get used to the place. She’s called the Keeper of the Ruins, and she’s being very friendly, not too motherly with Frisk.

But the “tale” must continue, even if Frisk wants to stay with her in the Ruins. So the Keeper tells them that a SOUL is something precious, and that they probably will need to FIGHT to keep it. She proposes a duel to see if they’re up to it. Frisk agrees… and ends up killed, as the Keeper has some really strong ice magic!

And so the fight drags on, as Frisk gets RESETed over and over again. They make slow progress and try to hit back just once… but the bunny-lady dies instantly and turns to dust. Horrified, Frisk RESETs and tries to simply resist this fight, dozens of times, with their SOUL turning slowly to ice… until the Keeper finally uses all of her powerful magic, and she never knew how many times she accidentally killed the human child.

So she opens the gate of the Ruins, with this parting message: “Don’t forget that your SOUL has no price.” She also gives them her warm shawl, as it’s cold outside. Frisk encounters Temmie again, who tells them that she’s proud of them for not taking the easy way of killing the bunny-lady, even if it took them so many tries at this battle…
