Queercoding in early supernatural compared to late supernatural is soooo funny to me cause in season 5 its like heres ben edlund making an incredibly layered episode with subtle nods to destiel to get past censors that people write essays about to analyze its themes. I was reading the draft script for 9x22 Stairway to Heaven and I found this part in it hilarious. Castiel opens the gates of heaven and finds shirtless pictures of Dean plastered everywhere. The next page cracks me up the most because it sounds like Sam is implying that this is Castiel's ideal version of heaven. Is he too ashamed to admit he's got a schoolgirl obsession with Dean? If they actually included this in the episode, it would be the most wildest thing ever.

it's SO funny that when asked what he had to do to prepare for his role in IWTV Sam Reid says he had to learn how to play the piano, learn to speak French, Italian, and English with a French accent. Bailey read IWTV religiously and added her own comments, and kept an actual fucking journal she wrote entirely as Claudia. meanwhile Jacob Anderson, when asked the same question, just responds with “oh nothing, i was already emo”. icons and legends only

at no point in the show does dean ever deny having romantic feelings for cas. every time hes teased, mocked, or its even brought up he just dodges the question (shut ur face get in the car (cassie parallel who he was in love with), he was ur boyfriend first, etc) and despite the numerous opportunities to deny their attraction towards each other, never does dean go “no gross”, or “no i dont like cas like that”, or literally any form of denial, dean just kinda takes it and swallows full innuendo intended and then changes the subject as fast as possible. cas was the same, every time people point out their relationship (all to save one man, he likes you, whos in love with you, thought you two were joined at the everything, etc) he never says “no its not like that” or anything to deny it. what im saying is that they 1) both were in love with each other, 2) both could not verbally bring themselves to deny it, and 3) only difference is that cas got to speak his truth and confess and dean never even got the chance.

Dean’s sitting at the kitchen table eating meatloaf when it all sort of hits – and he’s desperate to remember it exactly how it happened.
