This post kept showing up on my dash and I always felt that there was something off with "finding beauty" in the effects of a global pandemic with a high body count, no matter how pretty the results. Thanks for putting it into words.
All of Queen’s music is meant to be turned up at full volume and sung along with at the top of your lungs, it doesn’t even matter what song
Story of my life people. You know what’s real ? The struggle.
Happy Pride Month ♥
Went to get a kebab and now they have transitioned to loudly discussing feminism. One dudebro is accusing a girl of being "racist against men".
Midsommar in Sweden. Neighbours are blasting Caramelldansen.
"I don't remember you! You weren't there! You weren't there when he was born! You weren't there when she died! Where were you? Where were you!?"
A masterpiece.
God, Taika Waititi's "Boy" is still one of the greatest movies ever made. The only movie that has had me grinning like an idiot with tears rolling down my cheeks.

twitter is almost unusable because every other post is just someone plagiarizing a wildly popular tumblr post word-for-word and nobody in the comments knows or says anything so it feels like that moment in a thriller film where i'm the sole witness to a murder and the killer eyes me across the room and smiles because he knows nobody will believe me
Just gotta get this out there; I really can't share with people's exitement about a Taika Waititi-directed Star Wars movie. I think he's great, but like, remember when Lord & Miller were fired by parted ways with Disney mid-filming because their version of Solo became "too comedic, too meta, too improv-heavy"? AKA, too "Lord & Miller? Like, these guys made 21 Jump Street, The Lego Movie, and went on to make Into the Spider-Verse! That's what their movies are like! AND, might I add, not too dissimilar from Waititi's directing style.
But no, I'm sure that Disney would be more than happy to give Taika Waititi free rein, and that his movie won't end up a written-by-committee, studio-interference-laden mess at best, or a completely different director's poor attempt at salvaging it into an unassuming and inoffensive tribute to our Disney-overlords at worst.
