Jin was attending Konkuk University, majoring in Film and Acting when he was scouted by a casting director due to his looks.

He officially signed on with BigHit in 2011

Jin joined BigHit with the intention of becoming an actor but BigHit convinced him to take singing & dancing lessons to join BTS  

Before joining BigHit, Jin was supposedly going to work at his father’s company

During their first ever MCOUNTDOWN performance, Jin has a wardrobe malfunction where his pants fell & he cried after the performance (please he did so well I’m so proud, did I go back and rewatch all their performance? Yes I did & my heart swells with so much pride no matter how many times I rewatch the performance.)

He has an older brother

Recently he opened a restaurant with his brother

Previously, SM Entertainment attempted to scout him as well but he assumed it was a joke so he ignored it.

Despite being a trainee & even after debuting, Jin attended university and graduated in 2017

He’s currently enrolled in Hanyang Cyber University, pursuing his Masters

Pink was his favorite color but recently he said his favorite color is blue (mine too!)

While they were at Saipan, BTS ordered 10 lobsters & on top of that, Jin ordered 10 more lobsters and went to each of the staff’s table to share the lobsters with them

According to BTS, Jin has the best body among them (did y’all see the fansite picture of him during one of the concerts where his abs were revealed by accident? You can bet your ass I have a hard copy of it in my pc/lomo card collection.

How Hoibe just accepts and has this soft smile at whatever Jin says or does

Despite everything you can see the amount of love and respect, they have for him.

He’s so full of love & warmth & he’s not afraid to show it or share it

He is so humble, dorky and appreciative of every BTS member, ARMY and everyone in his life

a/n: boy if you don’t-

You really like the songs of birds. You have always liked the songs of birds, even when you were a little girl – too naïve for the world and with far too much energy to spare – you really liked birds and their singing. It calmed you down, but also made you think of many amazing stories in your head. Most of the time those stories were about the topics those little fellas were singing about. Where the spots for catching worms were hidden in your garden, how the air all the way up in the sky felt like, or maybe just about how many people they have pooped on today. You had the silliest stories for every kind of bird and its melodies.

Now that you are all grown up – still maybe a little naïve but feeling far more tired than energetic – the music of birds reminded you of home. Your parent’s house is surrounded by a spacious garden, so your childhood was filled with happy whistling and little songs, hence the many stories. So whenever you are woken up by the songs of birds, you feel like you are back in your childhood bedroom, ready to start a new day of adventuring.

So when you open your eyes to a new day and don’t find yourself in your bedroom, you are confused. Now bear in mind, you hadn’t expected to wake up in your childhood bedroom, your mind was awake enough to realise that this was impossible. But you had expected to wake up in your apartment. White walls, which were slightly yellowed from all the previous people living in it, a big water stain on the left corner of the ceiling, the smell of your radiator heating up. But you weren’t greeted by those things, instead the clear blue sky greeted you.

You blink a few times, rubbing at your eyes when the image still remains.

“Huh.”

The sky is still here even after you rubbed your eyes. You look at your hands and start counting your fingers. You have more fingers in dreams, so your father always told you. You only have your required amount, not one more and not one less. So you aren’t dreaming. You are actually resting under a glass dome. Also what is that smell? Like old books and expensive wood?

You look around. A library.

“Oh!”

You must be stupid in sleep. You stayed over at Taehyung’s place, now you remember! This is his library, a secret he shared with you last night before you and him spent hours watching the stars and kissing until your lips were tender. You touch them, feeling your heart flutter. Last night was so amazing. He took you dancing, walked with you under the moonlight, showed you his most precious possessions and then told you that you are important to him under the starry sky and then fell asleep with you while you were resting in his arms.

You giggle, hiding your face behind your hands. Last night was epic.

You open your eyes and blink in the bright room. You inhale deeply. 

“Mhm pancakes”, you murmur and yawn, “that’d be cool right now." 

Dishes clatter and only then do you realise that your bedroom door is open and the smell of pancakes actually comes from your kitchen. You lift your head and furrow your brows. Well, this is interesting. You ought to check it out. 

"Good morning, did you have a pleasant night?” Taehyung greets you before you can, having his back turned to you. He must have heard you come outside. Vampire hearing and all (again the books you read educated you a lot).

“Are you making pancakes?” you ask, waddling over to him. 

You look into the pan and over to the plate on which pancakes are already stacked. They look different, let’s put it that way. 

Taehyung sneaks a glance your way. 

“That look says that you aren’t pleased with the results.”

“No, they uh, look interesting”, you assure him, “I like how the edges are burned and the middle is still white. I never had them this way before." 

"Are you mocking me?” Taehyung raises an eyebrow at you. 

“I’m not” you assure him and chuckle fondly, “they look good, don’t worry." 

Taehyung clicks his tongue in distaste and looks back at the pan. He flips the pancake, cringing when the edges turn out burned and the middle white again. You chuckle, giving his middle a quick hug as you press a chaste kiss to his shoulder. You make your way to the fridge afterwards and open it to get the milk. 

Taehyung fills up the pan with new dough in the meantime. The faint sizzling is almost relaxing in the otherwise quiet room. 

"You know, you don’t need to cook for me. I’m happy with getting a soggy sandwich from the store”, you say and pour water into your water cooker, “as long as I can have my cup of tea, I’m happy.”

“I can’t accept that. A soggy sandwich from the store is below you”, he murmurs.

You sneak a glance his way, having to grin. Of course it is. With your grin still embedded on your face, you sort through your tea cabinet.

“Do you want a cup too?” you ask him.

“Oh, that would be wonderful”, he says, flipping the pancake, “aha!” he exclaims.

You look at him, “what is it?”

“You see, this one looks fairly decent”, he says proudly, tilting the pan so you could take a look at the (surprisingly) golden pancake.

“Ooh, I’m impressed, you mastered the skill on the last pancake. Congrats”, you say, having to chuckle.

Taehyung sends you a look of distaste and clicks his tongue.

“Mock me all you want, I’m not the one having to eat them”, he murmurs.

You scoff and laugh in disbelief, leaning against the counter.

“So I have to eat them? Is that so?”

Taehyung looks at you from the corner of his eyes, wanting to stay serious but having to grin in the end. He chuckles and shakes his head.

You turn your attention back to the two tea cups, pouring the hot water over the teabags and watching them dye the water golden brown.

You feel happy, which is funny because you can’t seem to remember the last time you felt this kind of happy. The warm kind of happy, the one that makes you smile all the time and no matter what you do, you just can’t stop smiling.

You’re six years old when you receive your first paper crane from Kim Taehyung.

Your first year of elementary school is almost over—there’s only two months left until summer break, and you’ve been counting down the days until you are finally free to wake up as late as you want and play with your friends until the sun goes down.

That’s also why it strikes you as odd that there’s a new transfer student, his newly assigned seat right beside yours, being introduced to the class. His eyes are big and wide underneath a fringe of dark brown hair, and he’s cute in the way that all kids are cute—with rosy cheeks, big ears, and a shy demeanour that tells you that he would most likely rather have stayed at his previous school.

You open your mouth to introduce yourself, but the sound of your teacher’s voice has you facing the blackboard once more. You try not to think too hard about the new boy sitting beside you, gently humming to himself as he doodles butterflies in an open meadow.

At recess, you’re playing with a few friends, doing cartwheels and rolling around on the grass. You’re giggling with your friend, Chaeyoung, when you hear a ruckus happening not too far away.

You look up from your book, coming face to face with Kim Namjoon’s smiling face. His dark rimmed glasses are perched up on his nose and one single strand of his raven hair is hanging into his eyes.  

“Uhm…not really, but do you have to?”

He laughs, cocking his right eyebrow up in surprise.

“Did I do something to deserve such a cold shoulder?” he asks.

“I honestly don’t want to talk”, you say and look back into your book.

You can feel him looking at you and the dozens of books you had piled up on the table before you. You try to ignore it.

“Vampires”, he says, studying your features, “you struck me as a lover for the supernatural the moment my eyes fell on you.”

You close the book on East European folklore and look at him with an exasperated sigh.

“What do you want Namjoon? Did Taehyung send you?”

“Taehyung?” Namjoon chuckles. He takes off his brown leather bag and sits down on the chair beside you, turning to you, “why would he send me?”

“Because of what happened last week? Obviously.”

Namjoon reaches for a book and opens it. He skims through it mindlessly, making you grind your teeth in annoyance. If he messes up the little markings you put in there, you will personally end him. He drags his pointer finger over a line talking about the horrors of blood drinking, closing the book afterwards. He looks into your eyes.

“I have no idea what happened between you and him. I’m actually here to gather research material for the paper I am due to write next week”, he explains, lifting his notepad so you could see it.

You cringe, “god sorry, I should have figured. Sorry for snapping at you, I’m just a little moody lately.”

“It is already forgiven”, he assures you with a sweet smile, “may I ask what happened? I missed you in our Tuesday lecture today.”

You sigh and shrug your shoulders.

“I honestly have no idea. I was with Tae, you know?”
