Forgot to post this here. Here’s my entry for @rockmiyabideusexmachina‘s summer contest! Not the best I can do but it was mostly an excuse to draw Mr. Prog. Bubbleman.exe was also quite fun to draw.

My raven harpy character for Flock of Fun. Physical description: Jade is a 135cm tall raven harpy. She has dark black skin and a very angular face with sharp features. Her arm wings have long black feathers with talon-like hands equipped with sharp claws. She has long silky black hair going down to the middle of her back. Her eyes are a bright green. She wears a green sleeve-less vest with a golden shiny rim along with similar colored fabric bracers on her wrists and ankles. She has a shiny silver necklace in the form of a leaf around her neck Personality: Jade is very carefree and impulsive. While smart, she often acts first, especially if food is involved and then thinks later. She was described by her flock as being a gentle soul. Despite being a glutton, she would gladly share her food; with her flock and also with other animals that might wander into their settlement. When not foraging for food, she spends time fiddling with puzzles, lazing in the sun or playing with wild animals. Likes: Flying. Shiny things. Solving puzzles and riddles. Food. Spending time outside in the fresh air. Singing. Jumping in a pile of dead leaves. Being complimented Dislikes: Being ignored. Lightning Prompts: -Jade eating cookies. -Jade fiddling with a rubik cube. -Jade standing on a tree branch and screaming.

All of the entries are amazing!

I love how the contest organizer understood perfectly my reasoning for not putting a tiara on Gemini Man ^^

2016 Megaman Valentine’s Day Fanart Contest  Results!

First off, Happy Valentine’s Day to all! Whether you are able to spend it with your significant other, your family, friends, loved ones, or…, um, that dirty doujin page of your favorite waifu that you’ve been spending time coloring recently, or something ^^;…I hope you all are able to feel cared for on this day of love.

I think this is honestly the first year where I’ve actually posted the results on Valentine’s Day itself. Typically, the deadline has either been on the day itself, or I just haven’t been able to get everything coordinated to work out this way. This still won’t be perfectly how I’d like to do it, but I want to let you guys be able to post everything you have today, if you so desire, as well as letting you all get the praise and credit for all the hard work you put into your art.

Stats-wise, we ended up with 15 total entries, 9 in the Talent Category, and 6 in the Humor Category. Not quite 2014 levels, but basically doubling last year’s turnout. I usually go through the usual motions and depression that I’ll never get that major avalanche of submissions I dream of; with over 1000 views on dA and nearly 100 notes on tumblr this year, it’d be nice to one day get like at least 30 entries. Maybe next year for the 10th anniversary blowout.

However, I always do feel better once that final entry has been received. Year after year, there is always a consistent  amount of regulars who I can count on to enter almost every time, and there is always a nice group of totally new people who surprise me with their talents. And it was no different this year. So again, THANK YOU!!! I do these contests as a way to give back to the community, and to appreciate the talents you have. It sucks that not everyone can win a prize every year, but know I’m grateful you took the time out to draw something for this little thing I do.

Tree swallow going back for more bugs to feed her children

I wanted to start offering more than just button commission so I put together a new commission guide with the kind of things I can make. I would really appreciate if anyone wants to share it and get the word out. Some quick info: All prices are in Canadian dollar. Been watching Stream. Tesla is always hilarious the thought of Larkman going to the store to get food for her made me think of the news story a few years ago where a bird stole a bag of chips.

As soon as I saw what the themes were, it didn’t take me long to form an idea of what I wanted to do, I knew it had to be Bubbleman.exe

2020 Megaman Valentine’s Day Contest - Cat. 2 (Humor) Results!

For the humor category this year, the theme focused on bubble-themed characters from any Mega Man series “bombing” a romantic bubble bath scene between another couple to ruin the romance.

There were a total of 11 entries for this category this year. Thank you all for your participation! Just like for the talent entries, I really went back and forth on deciding placements, so you did not make it easy on me! 

Again, raffle prize winners will be contained in both posts, so keep an eye out between your name and your art. Not all raffle prize winner are contained in this post. Behold: this year’s summer contest entry! And boy it was a doozy. I redid everything once the infamous trailer was released, the game hit the shelves, and, well….you know the rest. It was important for me to keep this entry as good-natured as possible, for all of the Mega Man fans and MN9 backers. It’s been a rough summer for some of you!
