colored outlines or black outlines? {the og drawings were outlined in sharpie and mostly used other markers/pens}

so technically the black outlines are closer to the characters first designs, but i’m worried for some reason. like it still looks like my style, but it’s missing the colored outlines

thoughts?

i have diaries versions for betty/cathy/jenny {betty/catherine/jennifer}

i tried to draw michelle in the wine stained white tee but my stupid humanoid hands couldn't do it and now im stuck with the idea, some very bad drawings, and yeah that's about it

fun fact: wine stains are harder to do with markers, i know this because i tried to make her colored on on a different page and it did Not go well

i think ive improved :) i hate doing shading like the second one, but i did my best - >-;; also they went from day to night and i liked that
