I Have Mixed Emotions About This. Like Yay A Possible New Chapter That Came Really Soon! But Also Low

Ok so I had this thought and maybe I’m on to something, maybe I’m not.

So remember this panel:

Mo calls out for his dad during what seems to be the destruction of their restaurant and maybe the attemptted kidnapping of baby Mo? (Or just someone trying to hurt him I dunno) either way. Mo calls out for is dad and immediately his dad comes and Randy Ortons this guy through a table to save Mo. Little Mo had that sense of physical security with his father.

With his mother he still had that sense of security but it was mostly like emotional:

Especially in that one panel with baby She Li (I would find it but I’m too lazy) where she’s trying to calm Mo down and telling him it will stop hurting soon. I think as a kid Mo felt physically protected by his mother but eventually when he started to grow he realized that he had to protect his mom. So he was never really able to have that sense of security (thus he got so callous and distant from everyone). I think Mo just thought that he was on his own but deep down he was probably still scared out of his mind.

So when he met She Li he was like “hey you’re a good source of protection because you have so many people who look out for each other.” Naively, Mo probably would have joined the gang for that purpose, to be safe. And maybe somewhere along the line She Li did actually save him from someone trying to hurt/take him again (not because he actually cared but because he wanted something from Mo). And maybe that’s why he joined, I’m not sure. But this would explain why She Li is always has that “I’m the one who gripped you tight and raised you from perdition” vibe going on:

BBBBUUUUTTTTT then Mo met He Tian. And at first he tian was a jerk and just another person trying to take advantage of Mo (like with the whole kiss thing with the water bottle). But then the relationship started to evolve. I think when He Tian actually did physically protect Mo is when the scales in Mo’s mind started tipping.

Now Mo actually has friends and He Tian to protect him. He finally found what he wanted all along. That group of people who are looking out for each other.

Found this in a walk... sometimes the beauty of the world really knocks me off my feet...

Went on a bike ride and got some flowers off the side of the road. Just goes to show beauty can be found anywhere just as long as you look for it.

Pt. 2?

So I’m new but low key I’ve been stalking 19 days on tumblr for years but now I’m just getting the courage to make my own page XD I do think I’ll try to post more 19 days stuff but it’ll probably be my drawings... I’m not super great but I try. So yeah. What’s up people

Ok but can we talk about how in the new update He Tian didn’t take the whole blanket from Mo (or even just half like you would think to do). He only took a little bit. Maybe just enough that if he needed to he could touch Mo. Not like in a sexual way or anything, but just to know that Mo is there with him (like if he had a nightmare).

He Tians character development makes me really happy. He isn’t that snobby rich boy anymore. He’s ok with only having only a little bit of the covers so that Mo will be warm. Granted he is in long sleeves and pants but it’s still cute to think about.

Another thing is that covers make us feel secure when we sleep. So that fact that He Tian doesn’t need the covers over him makes it even sweeter. Simply because Mo is right there next to him he feels safe.

So I’ve been looking at He Tian and how he’s drawn he kind of looks more American? I love how he’s drawn it just gave me an idea. What if He Tian was an American exchange student in China and he meets Mo.

I can’t stop thinking about He Tian calling He Cheng and telling him about the cute Asian boy he met that keeps talking to him but he doesn’t understand anything. Little does he know Mo is telling him to leave him alone XD
