Do you guys think Hunter had a final moment of clarity where he told Flapjack to get away before Belos took complete control? Do you think Flapjack would have tried to pull at his hair or get his attention when he noticed something was wrong with Hunter? Do you think they had a moment to both realized what was about to happen? Because if this-
-was their last interaction before Belos took over, then I will simply ✨never fucking recover✨
me today
I want to point out how the final fight in Epic is not in song 38 but song 40.
How after Odysseus became "the monster" he then, was the last boss to fight
And Penelope fights him.
Because she fights for her husband, for the man beyond the trauma, for the man WITH the trauma, for the man she will always love and will wait forever if necessary.
She makes him angry, he gets furious and Penelope is the only character so far who matches that fury and tames it.
And Penelope wins.
She defeats the "monster".
And all it's left... it's just a man. Her man.
Victims (a short comic)
I just love angst too much. that's all 🥺
I've seen a few Billford fics where Dipper is onto/extremely suspicious that Bill isn't exactly "human", but I think the reverse concept is much much funnier... where Dipper's convinced Ford is the cryptid and Bill is 100% the normal guy
Dipper "Paranoia" Pines: "Mabel, don't you think there's something WEIRD about Great-Uncle Ford??? He barely sleeps, he wears a turtleneck AND coat in the middle of summer, he has a ranked blood 'flavor profile' list, he always sneaking around at night, he always smells like brunt hair... which is... also weird but not really a sign of anything I guess... but I still think he's vampire? Maybe?? -chewing pen, frantically searching The Monster Book of Monsters for more clues- Mabel: "What, Dipper, you're crazy! Right Grunkle Bill?" Bill Cipher -clearly doing something supernatural, up to and including still being a floating triangle in a top hat- "Gee, I dunno Shooting Star, personally I've always suspected my hubbie's a shaved Bigfoot... how else do you explain Stan?" Dipper -oblivious to the real cryptid in the shack-: SEE, yes, thank you, good to know we have one voice of reason in this house!
*grabs fandom and shakes it* stan treats dipper that way because he reminds him of HIMSELF, not ford. He states that TWO times on canon. Actually if you read the journal ford takes his own time to warm up to dipper while he likes mabel right away. While the stans might see themselves on one twin there's no actual evidence of them correlating the other twin to their respective brother. It's all fanon!!
Can you imagine how Ford would react if something happened to Stan? Like someone attacks him or an anomaly manages to get a hit in, and Ford he hears Stan let out a pained noise and he whirls around just in time to see his twin going down. Hurt. And Ford he just sees this and immediately it's just an all consuming rage. I'm talking he's seeing red, that's how furious he is. Because how dare they put their hands on Stanley?? How dare they hurt his twin??? Just how dare they, how dare they?!?!? And Stanford just goes apeshit.
Can't promise anything but…. 😜

Yeah you're right. It WOULD be pretty fucked up if you were a swan but you were raised by ducks and you grew up never seeing another swan or even knowing that such a thing as a swan even existed so you just thought you were a duck with something super wrong with it.
