Thinking about the line “You don’t think I know my own palace? I built it!”.

Thinking about the implication that Odysseus built his entire palace around that olive tree, his and Penelope’s wedding bed, a symbol of their love.

Odysseus’s world is literally built around his love for Penelope.

Ok so I've been going back and forth with this, scrapped my first painting attempt and kinda re-did the whole thing???? It's been a ride to say the least, a frustrating one. I'm no consistent or everyday painter, I do it very rarely. But this was for practice and I was determined to finish it 😤 sure I got stressed and just sloppy by the end and in certain areas but.... I've been staring at it for hours and I would start going blind seeing every flaw if I didn't finish it 😵‍💫 pls be kind....

Fiddlestan, werewolf! Stan and the mental image of Stan some nights just a full on giant wolf.

And that means sometimes Stan just cuddling with Fiddleford in giant wolf form. Takes up most of the bed, so big and is hard to move.

Can't promise anything but…. 😜
