i think the reason why the assassination of Julius Caesar is one of the funniest political assassinations is for this very simple reason:
1 guy stabs 1 guy: not funny. that's murder.
2 guys stab 1 guy: even less funny. that's two against one.
60 guys stab 1 guy: uproariously funny. why do you need so many guys.
A cute date in the human realm. Hunter was eager to show Willow what he had found.

Okay so, thanks to the lovely mutual @localcanadiancreature62 I've been been thinking about similarities between the four pine twins. Mainly Dipper and Stanley, and fam I think that maybe Dipper takes after Stanley a lot more than he does Ford. Let me explain.
Dipper's main motivations is protecting Mabel. While he loves the mystery and gaining knowledge, at the end of the day Mabel's the most important thing to him. Dipper gives up a lot for his older sister, so much so that when he's possessed by Bill and Bill mockingly asks who'd give everything up for their dumb sibling Mabel without hesitation replies-
"Dipper would."
And who else do we know who gives up everything for their sibling?
Stanley.
Stanley spent 30 years giving up his life, his identity, his remaining family, literally everything just to bring back Ford. Because Ford's more important than anything else. Just as Mabel is to Dipper.
Dipper also has an uncanny knack for spotting con artists. This kid is always suspicious of free offers and deals too good to be true. Examples of this are the first episode when Stan offers the twins something from the shop. And Mabel is quick to jump on board with it, not questioning a thing while Dipper immediately is like-
"What's the catch?"
Or during the Gideon Glee arch, when Gideon was doing his thing at the tent and his advertisements. Dipper wasn't buying it, and at several points outright scoffed at things that were clearly a scam. He's even more critical of it because his Gruncle Stan isn't Gideon's biggest fan and Dipper surprisingly takes Stan's words to heart. Which we see in the episodes like Dipper trying to be a man and Stanley praises him for standing up for what he believed in. And Dipper's attitude immediately brightened at it. Or the moment when Bill offered a deal to Dipper in exchange for a puppet. Dipper was incredibly hesitant and even asked a few times if that's all Bill wanted. Who else is like this?
Stan is.
Stanley is critical of anything that seems off. Always questioning if there's a catch or if something else is going on. He's not easily bought, and neither is Dipper.
And finally Dipper and Stanley believe that family is the most important thing.
Dipper when he's offered the apprenticeship from Ford his first reaction after excitement is-
"What about Mabel?"
Because Mabel is one of the most important things to Dipper. In fact this scene reminds me of the scene when Ford and his parents are in the office about his scholarship and while everyone else is focused on that, Stan and Ford's mom is the only one to ask-
"What about Stanley?"
Anyways, Dipper's biggest thing is family. This kid gets into dangerous situations to protect Mabel, Ford and Stan with everything he has. And is more than willing to die for them if it comes down to it. And Stanley is the exact same way. Just like Dipper, Stan will fight tooth and nail for his brother and nibbings till the very end.
In short I think Dipper takes more after Stanley than we realized. It's all there in the finer details and it makes me feral just thinking about it.
What do you think Dana has in store for Hunter and Willow in the upcoming specials from the way she reacting in live Instagram Q and A?
I don't know ow the answer to this any more than another fan would, but it's clearly going to be more than I originally let myself hope we'd get. A lot of people have already registered the parallels between Hunter and Willow, and Caleb and his witch!wife, and how karmically appropriate it would be for Belos- who killed his brother for falling in love with a witch- to know before he fully dies that the last clone he made of Caleb fell in love with a witch as well. And for Willow and Hunter to find the happiness together that Caleb and his wife were robbed of.

You don't show blood in animated films, it's like almost a taboo thing. You can show characters getting beat up and bruised but never bleeding. It defies all corporate beliefs of making it a "kids movie". Even GDT's Pinocchio which has fucking nazis in it and guns shooting people never showed blood in it. It's just that sacred of a thing in animation that studios never cross.
But Puss in Boots, they showed it. Not only that, you get a fucking close up on it. Do you know how rare that is? The people who made it probably fought every tooth and nail to get this moment approved, because this is unprecedented in this industry. You don't show actual blood bleeding I cant stress how much this is such a nono in this industry.
But for this moment it's perfect, the inevitability of death in Puss in Boot's eyes, the amount of risk the studio took to get this moment in the film approved, shows how much DreamWorks really cares and wants this movie to not just be another haha kids film but for the adults watching it, the people who have seen the world and fear death, those with anxiety, get panic attacks, unsure about life the universe, getting married, being a family. These aren't ideas catered to kids.
Everytime I've seen people be like "oh studios need to stop making boring ass animations and actually make a film about serious topics and have better animation and care about the movie" THIS IS IT FOLKS. A STUDIO LISTENED AND IT'S OUT HERE IN YOUR FACE.
So seriously go watch Puss in Boots. It's incredible and you're missing out on something beautiful if you don't.

What I really appreciated about Qilin was seeing where Marinette gets her problem solving skills and the ability to predict a certain outcome.
Sabine uses every day household objects to problem solve. Just like Ladybug lucky charms (let’s just ignore the fact that this time Ladybug has a laser gun for a Lucky charm this episode lol). Sabine carefully placed the laundry basket, the sponge, etc. to counteract Marinette’s clumsiness by predicting what her daughter was going to do.
When confronted with the problem of the business man taking up the handicap spot on the bus not moving, she was able to analyze her surroundings and use it to her advantage to solve the problem. As a result a simple pen drop created a wild chain reaction that removed the business man from the spot and allowed the man in the wheelchair take the spot. We’ve seen Ladybug analyze her surroundings and correctly predict an outcome numerous times.
Marinette never got this ability from being Ladybug (she is Ladybug because she has this ability). This is something learned from her mother. Marinette gained this skill through observation and experience by being raised by her mother.

Reasons why I love Huntlow/Winter and will protect this ship with my life if necessary
I love Willow, I feel represented by her in both figure and personality.
She deserves someone who loves her entirely and really (I'm pretty sure Boscha would be such a toxic partner and ruin her life even more)
Hunter looks up to her in such a beautiful way.
Hunter also needs and deserves someone who loves him entirely and really and not because they need something out of him.
Willow's tenderness and selflessnes would and will convince him that he does deserve to be loved
HUNTER'S BLUSHING WHEN WILLOW
They being a couple just adds Hunter to de squad, not take away Willow from it (and I think this is beautiful, he needs friends ya know)
They will protect each other with their very own lives (as shown)
They remind me of my bf and I in many ways (and so, I headcanon them both as bisexuals)
They are both so precious to me I would unironically cry if something bad happened to any of them.
My bf and I have adopted Hunter and Willow is now our daughter in law I'm not taking any criticism here
Feel free to add, Huntlow/Winter nation, we're in this together
