since I can’t put a poll in an ask this is the next best thing

I’m morbidly curious cause depending on who. Most would think wins a fight I might try to write (part of) an encounter (not necessarily a fight but still) between the winner &sandman (the winner’s half of the encounter atleast)

as for when or how these encounters would happen

it would definitely vary on who wins

VILE SIDE STORY: Upstaged on Stage

(Also to the creator of Calvin. sorry if I mischaracterized him but vile doesn’t DO duets. as you’ve implied. so this is the only way such a thing could’ve happened while staying in character for both (plus calvin comes off as being like this to me ) )

It was a… unique… day in Playcare.

Vile was putting on a musical for the orphans. He was in the final act, he was playing the role of a noble with a heart of gold facing his archenemy. his mother’s toxic “friend”, things were going smoothly. he was in the climax of the final musical number… he was putting his all into this. It was HIS MOMENT.

he was just about to hit the high Note…

when suddenly-

Calvin bursts onto the stage. and just starts singing! completely disrupting the flow of the story for his own tempo!!!

was he?!- he was stealing the show! This was Vile’s moment. Vile wrote this story himself beginning to end. And Calvin’s just inserting himself into Vile’s hard work like it means nothing! NOTHING!

Not wanting to be upstaged in his own production, Vile meets Calvin’s self-insertion with a musical retort of his own.

Unfortunately for The toy actor, this goes on for a while drawing out the play…

eventually. Calvin leaves himself open, allowing Vile to finally finish the play by pushing Calvin off the stage, as he had intended to do with the prop of the villain Calvin had taken the place of.

the crowd goes wild with applause. Vile bows

unfortunately for the actor in gray & green. Afterwards, Calvin implies to everyone else that this was planned from the start as a duet performance… and despite what Vile says. Everyone believes Calvin. instead of the person who wrote the play…

Calvin was an actor right? so Vile could’ve sworn Calvin knew that actors don’t mess with other actor’s hard work like that…

The only person who would believe him is Hero. his best friend.

who looks EXHAUSTED!!! like she hasn’t slept in 5 weeks! and just ran a marathon!… so instead of comparing about his problem he tries to offer comfort to his long time friend.

Vile: “…you okay buddy? “ he asks concerned for his friend Hero: “…no…” she responds looking downwards.

Vile: “you… wanna talk about it?” He responds as he sits down and pats the ground next to him, offering her a seat.

Hero: “nope... I just REALLY need a break… I haven’t had one since… how long ago was April?”

After that. For a while the two friends just sit in silence for a while, until hero says something…

Hero: “…I’m glad your here…“ she states, sounding tired but genuine

Vile: “…well… your welcome :D” he replies, feeling in a slightly better mood than before…

DUMB DANDY AU IDEA

Bassie’s World: Holiday Takeover

An AU where the holiday toons decide to “replace” several Toons to escape being locked away (bassie led their revolution… for reasons… )

Bassie herself replaced dandy (her flowers were recolored similar to dandy’s head)

Bobette replaced Astro (she just wears a Santa hat that’s long like Astro’s)

Some other switches (Ginger & Cosmo, Flyte & Flutter, Coal & Pebble, Rudie & Poppy and Eggson & Boxten )

Cocoa …bassie kinda “got rid” of her shortly after they took over

bassie made the ichor operation to cover up the disappearances of so many toons

she’s blackmailing rodger to stop him from investigating the truth

the reason bassie wants the tapes is that instead of recorded episodes of the cartoon as people theorize with dandy, it’s a ton of backups of the security tapes of the night the holiday toons had their revolution. as well as bassie “removing” cocoa

The other toons are confused (with those close to those who went missing being worried ) (similar thing with toodles & rodger acting strange

my decade of joy challenge

this is something I’ve had planned for a while.

to explain, a long time ago I was fixated on this roblox poppy fangame that had gotten taken down and remade to be original

they were doing contests with submissions to replace the characters

so back then I made a bunch (as well as original characters for if they went back to original characters)

but when they started wanting basic skin ideas and me not wanting to delete them all (plus my fixation on the decade of joy AU )

I had this idea to pick a bunch of my best drawings fix them up a bit and make a challenge where I give 3 of them to everyone who participates and they can give them actual personalities, redesign them. etc

i have ALOT of them…

THE RULES

-you MUST reply to this to get the 3 characters (not just liking the post you HAVE TO REPLY.)

-you can’t pick who you get. they’ll be given at random

-you can’t re-invent the characters from the ground up. you can make small changes but what you receive is the base

-these guys are small (like around a mini-handyman’s size give or take ) while not a RULE it’s important to note.

-for the names: if they don’t have a name you can give them a name. if they do … nope :/

-the deadline is next Saturday, but if atleast 3 people participate in this. it will get extended a few days

-but in general have fun

EDIT! with how 3 people are (well technically 2 and 1 was considering it (I think…) ) doing this I’m extending the deadline from next Saturday to the Wednesday after that so 4 more days :D

okay I re-found this drawing I made recently of 5 versions of the employee/player (one of which being one I made in a AU on ao3 )

AKUMA SCARS AU Poll

an AU idea

While most of my posts on here have been Poppy Playtime related

this is a new AU idea I haven’t seen anywhere else

presenting!: Miraculous Ladybug: Akuma Scars AU

To summarize (if you don’t know the show ) akumatization is basically where Hawkmoth ( the main villain of the show (first 5 seasons anyway ) ) can send out corrupted Butterflies (called Akuma’s ) to evilize (yes that’s the actual term before you ask ) people feeling negative emotions

in the show it gets crazy

and this AU was based on when i rewatched some early episodes and thought

“What if there were remnants of the akumatization stuck on their bodies “

(This next part assumes you’ve watched atleast season one )

for example

Alya has minor bits of pink electricity on her fingertips from her powers as lady Wifi

or Ivan has bits of stone on his shoulders and right fist from when he was stoneheart

among others ( I have several already imagined but i shared the first 2 I came up with )

While I can’t exactly draw it (i suck at drawing semi realistic people like in miraculous ladybug even in a 2D state ) the idea is in my mind and I thought it’d share it

There’d be other smaller things in the AU but mainly the “scars” of the akumatizations

A poppy AU

doing this one on tumblr(most of my ideas are on ao3) it’s an evil au of poppy where the employee is a terrible person and is basically horrible to everyone

chapter 1

pretty much the same as canon but the employee grabs huggy as he falls then let’s him go again then grabs poppy immediately

chapter 2

walks into the game station cheats at every game and torments poppy every step of the way before tying her to the front of the train after killing mommy and scaring kissy away

chapter 3

same until the first dream (minus Ollie dialogue who despite still being the prototype is a bit shocked at the brutality and openness the employee is showing ) said first dream isn’t much then kissy tries to save poppy only to get grabpacked to the face

they then beat the sh*t outta poppy leaving her barely hanging on then throws her across playcare before wandering into the school and proceeds to brutalize miss delight who kicks them out

eventually they wind up finding dogday after committing arson

they then commit more arson on the last critter

then catnap sequence breaks just to try to stop them

they fail and the prototype does a mercy kill after the employee tries to saw catnaps legs off joint by joint

poppy and kissy try to escape to safe haven only for you know who to show up and maul kissy themselves with the orange hand

chapter 4

poppy is just barely able to escape and tries to get her way to safe haven barely holding onto life the employee following close behind while dragging kissy’s corpse with them

the 2 arrive at safe haven at the same time and the employee pretends to be nice to make poppy look even worse in safe havens eyes ignoring her near fatal wounds after they’re sent to f**k with the doctor (in which they massacre pianosaurus, yarnaby, hundreds of nightmare critters & giving each of them a slow & painful death )

poppy tries to warn doey only for the employee to find the bombs early and nuke safe haven with poppy barely escaping as doey goes nuclear at the employee directly as they shoot a flare down the last survivor’s throat

the outcomes the same…

the two end up in the vent block as the prototype commends the employee for making poppy suffer before giving her an even worse breaking speech but before she can flee the employee grabs her as the last bomb goes off sending them down…

to the labs where guess who shows up. huggy wuggy himself looking the same but even more pissed

the employee throws poppy at the door before booking it (they don’t fear huggy like my other AUs but “anything to make poppy suffer more” )

the rest will be done shortly after chapter 5 releases

this entire au is just the employee making everyone suffer equally while tormenting poppy the whole time

No this isn’t based on my annoyance at people hating on poppy despite everything and just ignoring everything that doesn’t say “she needs to suffer”

i just wanted to make an AU where the employee is just an asshole

UNPOPULAR POPPY CHAPTER 4 OPINION

Most agree with Doey about not blowing the place sky high

i can see why but I agree with poppy’s plan more

why because think about it as I said in other posts safe haven wouldn’t last forever eventually food & corpses would run out after a while even with every other hostile bigger body dead

and even then several of them talk about suffering daily

plus as I also said doey is a ticking time bomb with how unstable he is cause of how different the 3 kids in him are

Jack is just an innocent little bean

Kevin is rage incarnate from what I’ve seen but other posts made me think it’s cause of other issues before he even became a third of doey

and Mathew was just insecure the whole time

anyway I just feel like poppy’s plan is better in the long run and she never said anything about leaving the toys in safe haven down there she just wants the factory and the prototype gone which blowing it up would do

Plus as that final scene with poppy she’s upset doey and safe haven are gone so while it’s not clear immediately it’s easy to deduce killing them all wasnt the plan

sure poppy could’ve said something about that earlier but in universe it’s a bit late

anyway I imagine nobody is gonna like this and will likely comment saying I’m wrong cause I didn’t side with the emotionally unstable doughman (doughmen? It’s a bit hard when they were 3 people and you can’t really tell anymore… if they’re 3 people in one body or one guy with clashing personalities)

plus I’m still just a bit sore about how everyone is still hating on poppy when unlike chapter 2’s ending where she was vague about why she did what she did then it’s a bit more clear in chapter 4 she’s you know HAVING A PANIC ATTACK AND HAS A REASON FOR DOING WHAT SHE DID

my chapter 5 theories

With chapter 4 now having been out for a bit more than a week I’m gonna share my theories on what could be in chapter 5 (besides the obvious finale, huggy returning & actually seeing the prototype’s actual body in full )

My theories or rather guesses based on the differences between chapters 2,3 & 4 are with 1

-we’ll learn about the children who became huggy and kissy, and more about poppy before (as despite kissy being a major character we never learned WHO she was. same with huggy and how every main character had some lore talking atleast a little bit about the person who became their corresponding bigger body/experiment, same with the prototype (which might be Elliot Ludwig himself because of the “it’s time to come home poppy” lines it kept saying but who knows).

-the chapter’s title will either be based on huggy (again) or the prototype or possibly poppy herself given how every chapter a bit more about her is revealed like how she’s GOOD in chapter 4 and Elliot’s child and given how she has a more direct connection with the prototype than even catnap means we’re definitely gonna learn about that

-kissy vs huggy

think about it kissy despite losing an arm we know is still alive (hopefully) I mean she survived being mauled by (I can only assume to be )the prototype so losing an arm isn’t that much in comparison

plus with huggy back and having a huge grudge kissy vs huggy seems very likely

-poppy might die

i mean her whole plan is to destroy the place even with that messed up I imagine she likely doesn’t want to live after everything

so she might sacrifice herself during the final confrontation with the prototype

-huggy will accidentally save us in an attempt to kill us

huggy just never gives up in his pursuit to kill us andthat involves killing the prototype

as I imagine it’s personal now to him so I imagine he’d kill the prototype in a “if anybodys gonna kill them it’s gonna be me” based rage when charging at the player

admittedly this one’s more of a joke than a theory but it would be funny if such a thing did happen

-we see the remains of the other toys we killed from every other chapter intertwined with the prototypes body

sure this was obvious but given how there’s a ton of corpses the prototype hasn’t collected in front of us (Bunzo, the mini huggies from wack a wuggy, PJ, miss delight (but since her corpse vanishes off you go back I think it got her already), dogday, what little is left of pianosaurus, yarnaby, harley Sawyer & doey )

so I imagine it may go back during chapter 5 and collect those corpses as it managed to get around the factory pretty fast so it wouldn’t be impossible plus it’d be a fun trip down memory lane seeing every toy we killed back on its body (as what else would “make me part of him” mean ?)

-(last one) we finally kill huggy

given how we all thought huggy was dead for a while then realized he may be alive. I think it’s obvious we’re actually gonna kill huggy this time around, maybe by making him fall into a giant shredder or something (it’s the labs… I imagine they have that for processing the remains of the orphans after every experiment ) or something like that

anyway those were my dumb chapter 5 predictions

I doubt ANY of them are accurate but we likely won’t know until atleast late 2026 by my assumption that they’ll actually take longer so they don’t have another chapter 4 situation again

(aka giving a character they kill instantly more time in promotions then the actual game, and having A TON OF BUGS & half baked characters sure harley was cool but given how he’s the main antagonist of the chapter you’d think he’d have more screen time or atleast more taunting voice lines given how he supposedly sees everything )

People want a flawed female character and yet they can't even handle Poppy.

"Poppy is evil" theories here and "I wanna punt Poppy" there

So sad. Poppy is a traumatized kid who got experimented on over and over again, got contacted by the Prototype disguised as Ollie to find out every bit about her while they were both constantly being taken apart. So he could later use that against her. The Prototype lied to her, saying they would leave after The Hour of Joy, which is why she initially agreed, only to then be told after The Hour that they would stay there forever since leaving would have people know they exist. People would continue to hurt them and people would be experimented on just like they had been. And she knew he was right. She just misses her dad, Ludwig.

But because she disagreed with whatever experiments he and Harley were doing, the Prototype locks her inside that case for years where only we finally let her out.

Initially she just wants to let us leave, but after defeating two Bigger Bodies? Defeating Huggy Wuggy might have just been luck, but defeating Huggy Wuggy AND Mommy Long Legs? That's skill. So she decides we are her best bet against the Prototype.

She has decided the Prototype's way isn't the right way, but killing everyone would be better. The human orphans are important, they can still be saved. But the Prototype, she herself and any other toy needs to die so this can never happen again. She doesn't like it, but it's the only way out she sees. Otherwise, she will just continue letting toys cannibalism one another like the Prototype currently is.

But then everything goes up in flames. Suddenly everyone is dead, she only has us and Kissy. She wouldn't suspect Ollie of any potential sabotage. She has known him for over 10 years! Since before The Hour of Joy. The Prototype would never have manipulated her for that long. But he has. And he threatens her with putting her back inside a prison she cannot escape from. So she runs, because she is still a scared little girl that has been trying to put on a brave face

You can disagree with her actions, but it's not like she had no reasons to do them. All the kids we met were put through the ringer and trying to act like Poppy is some evil bitch rather than a scared little girl when the game has shown the lengths these kids go to time and time again? That's missing the point

poppy isn’t evil no matter what you think and here’s why

i know what your thinking “how is poppy not evil she didn’t like doey’s idea, she ran away at the end and she helped set up the hour of joy!” Well to counter that in reverse order. The red tape shows she regrets doing that cause she thought it was an escape attempt not a massacre that leads to them staying in the factory anyway, she ran away cause one of her “best friends” had been lying to her for who knows how long and used her to destroy safe haven and just threatened her with something worse than the case he locked her in which she never wants to go back into and lastly due to her regret she wants to end the prototype and destroy everything there so everyone can just Rest. before you say something dumb and claim poppy said it I just rewatched a play through I checked she never says anything bad about safe haven or those in it she just sees destroying the factory as the best and only option and just staying in safe have and letting the prototype continue isn’t smart regardless if safe haven live a bit longer eventually food would run out which they need and most of the corpses down there look more like just skin and bone not much they could eat if they were willing to eat human

And also doey was an emotional wreck even if the prototype hadn’t blown up safe haven doey likely would’ve snapped eventually with someone like Kevin in him it was bound to happen the destruction of safe haven only sped it up

and poppy isn’t a amoral monster who doesn’t care she obviously cares about kissy just look at the very end of chapter 3 and the very start of chapter 4 (after the doey commercial and jack’s death) and she was very hurt by Ollie being the prototype you can tell from her voice alone the hurt the despair

that isn’t the voice someone evil would have nobody evil can have that

Deep down she’s just a scared kid trying to fix a problem she helped cause even as indirectly as she did

you can dislike poppy but she isn’t evil

SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 4 Huggy’s back

As the title implies huggy does show up in chapter 4

well at the very end after everything you and kissy’s arm fall into a deep cave and end up finding the entrance to the labs you then find a white tape and play it. It’s eerily similar to that very first tape in the every first chapter but afterwards after it drops the jokes and says their security is the best then you hear familiar sirens and see a shape approaching part of you thinks it’s kissy… then you notice both arms are intact still… the tape goes on about how your basically dead the second someone knows your down there… than huggy steps out of the shadows and mist as he slams into the door and screams, face to face (you’d imagine he has a grudge now ) it cuts to black and the credits start to roll

while I may have put things in the wrong order a bit you shouldn’t have read this until you watched a decent play through of the chapter itself

im excited to see everyone’s favorite blue muppet rip off is back and with a vengeance. But given how every ally we had is dead now, poppy ran off in fear kissy missy while alive is missing her arm entirely and is still in the room above and how the prototype has nobody left other than huggy and maybe few toys (or maybe we might finally see bigger bodies of some of the other chapter 1 characters )

regardless I think it’s safe to say we’re all excited

can’t waitfor the next week when more lore related fanart and the crazy AUs (or additions to old AUs ) start to roll out

dumb idea I doubt will get attention but

i remembered this dumb Amanda the adventurer ask thing that ended after a few videos and was a bit cringe in hindsight

and that was before the full game came out

so I made my own (I suck at drawing digitally yet I don’t care call it stylistic suck (tvtropes) )

it’s just Amanda for now but if this gets enough asks maybe I’ll try my best at drawing wooly

for when this takes place

I’m still thinking exactly when

should it try to fit itself into canon or just say riley was killed by the demon and this is an alternate universe

Also I made a few design choices for Amanda mainly the oversized shirt (I suck at drawing shorts the right length sue me )

forgive me if this gets OOC I just had the idea and wanted to do something dumb plus I’ve seen a decent amount of ask AUs on here and most are some the same few fandoms and while I love those very ask AUs isn’t variety the spice of life?
