On other note, I think im getting somewhere, and im here to say facts, and rabbit wallace is such a cutie, i wanna lay down on that big furr bon bon and sleep until i get hungry. Also wallace has a mannerism of smiling way to wide when trying to understand something or he is comfirming something (along nodding fast) or when he is highly strung lmao, he is so cute i wanna squeeze his old man face.

Originally the fanfic was more like the Disney version, and Knuckles was going to be the talking door lol🚪(Sonic calls him Doorknux)

I imagine he reads a book in his pastime, waiting for people to fall down the rabbit hole. He immediately knows when someone new arrives. He's very protective of the door room, similar to how the real Knuckles is protective of the master emerald.

For the original version of the door room, I took inspiration from the Kingdom Hearts version.

I’ve been watching Wallace and Gromit recently, and let me just say that… Wow. The animations are incredible, and these two are so charming and iconic! (My favorite film being Curse of the Were-Rabbit. 10 out of 10, I recommend.) So, I just HAD to draw Baby Gromit.
