zukki is such a fucking funny ship. really that kinda ship were character A is oblivious and characters B and C are trying their hardest to date them. zuko is like "i love hanging out with you guys but aren't i interrupting your date?" and sokka and suki are like "wdym this is our 30th date and we've been living together and sharing a bed for 3 months"

Azula: why me?

Sokka: because you’re Zuko’s sister

Azula: What did Zuzu do this time?

Sokka: Nothing! But I have a crush on Zuko

Azula: ew why?

Sokka: as my sister you are legally obligated to give me advice

Katara: that’s now how the law works but ok, what do you need?

Sokka: I have a crush on Zuko

Katara: ew why?

Azula overhears this and despite not being on the best terms with Katara, decides to bond with her over their shared judgement of Sokka’s taste in men.

They spend a lot of time together and Zukka are sweating because nobody else understands how terrifying it is that their sisters have become friends. The fear exists for months. They’re too preoccupied with making sure Katara and Azula don’t blow up the palace that they both completely miss the fact that Azutara definitely started dating.

Katara wants to tell them. Azula started a betting pool on what will finally get their brothers to notice that they’re together…with Toph and Suki. Azula thinks Katara doesn’t know about the betting pool, but she definitely does. She had Suki anonymously place money on the “Azula and Katara will have to kiss in public for Sokka and Zuko to realize” option.

Okay so I have this headcanon that most witches and wizards are mixed races and/or ethnicities because if you think about it their communities are a lot smaller so they’re more likely to travel around and befriend witches and wizards in other countries, right? Not to mention that they can travel far quicker and easier than muggles can.

See this would solve the whole inbreeding problem because why marry your cousin when you could just as easily marry some hot dude from Australia?

(So it’s actually perfectly logical to have loads of Black and Asian people at Hogwarts, jkr is just racist, but we knew that already)

My headcanon is that Euphemia is Desi of some kind (I can never decide the specifics but she’s definitely South Asian) and English and Fleamont is Moroccan and Spanish. James grew up travelling between all four countries but (for some reason yet to be determined) they decided he would attend Hogwarts in the UK (maybe Euphemia went there and loved it or something? Idk).

I’ve always liked the headcanon that most witches and wizards know a few different languages and it definitely works with this headcanon so. James is fully fluent in English, Spanish Castellano, Arabic, and Hindi, as well as partially fluent in Spanish Catalan, Bengali, and maybe even Tamil and French? This might sound like a crazy amount of languages but I really think it’s just part of wizarding culture to know a lot of languages, you know?

Anyway now imagine James serenading Regulus and/or Lily in Spanish (this whole Spanish James headcanon came to me because I was listening to a Spanish song and it just made sense).

And if you think he wouldn’t wear a flamenco dress and do flamenco dancing on the tables in the Great Hall then you are wrong because he absolutely would (Sirius does it with him while Peter and Marelene start the rhythmic clapping and get everyone else to join in)

Uhhhh I can’t think of anything else rn but if I do I’ll add it on later (and anyone who sees this feel free to add on your own hcs as well)

Concept: Fire Lords traditionally dress like the stages of the sun to match their reign.

When Zuko is first crowned, he dresses in the colours of dawn. Bright yellows and pinks and even purples. He starts to wear more traditional crimson-and-gold robes after a few years, the colours of midday when Agni is at his strongest. And towards the end of his reign, when he's getting ready to pass the crown onto Izumi, he starts dressing like the setting sun.
