🦋🦋 VERY IMPORTANT 🦋🦋
My name is Eslam Gheelan, I’m 29 years old, and I’m a children teacher from Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. a mother of two daughters, Hanaa 5 years old, and Alma, 10 months old. My husband Rasmi is the director of 3 language and training centers. In this war, our house was completely destroyed and razed to the ground, and my husband’s centers were blown up. He lost his job, and we were completely displaced, and we are now homeless and jobless, My two young daughters constantly suffer from diseases due to malnutrition and water pollution.
Danger and death surround us all day and all night. We have lost everything and depend on donations to survive and, most of all, to have any hope of escaping this genocide and evacuating to safety in Egypt. The cost of daily living continues to rise significantly in Gaza - imagine that we cannot find the type of milk for our daughter because of its high price. There is no kind of detergent and this is the cause of skin diseases for my two little girls. We bought a piece of soap for $30! ، and detergent is 100$.
Attached for you are pictures of how our lives have changed since October 7th.

Infinite Stairs and Dissected Buildings | Marcin Bialas | Socks Studio
Marcin Bialas is a Polish artist who’s specialized in etchings and drawings in black an white. Among his large production, a recurring theme is dissected buildings and surreal constructions, such as infinite staircases and labyrinthine interiors, an atemporal combination of G.B. Piranesi and Brodsky/Utkin prints. The structures seem unfinished, yet already in ruin, able to plunge the viewer into an uncomfortable feeling. Somewhere between nightmares and theatrical settings, Marcin Bialas’ retro drawings explore the dramatic potential of different projections and points of view.

I feel like ppl get bogged down in semantics so let me make it real simple for you. A zionist is someone who supports the state of Israel. Zionism is the belief that a Jewish ethnostate called Israel should be developed in the Levant region (Palestine and Lebanon and Syria) regardless of the existence of Palestine, Syria and Lebanon and their people. When any pro-Palestine person says someone is a Zionist, that's not a synonym for Jewish, nor is another word for "person I don't like". When we call someone a zionist it's because they support the existence of Israel as a colony. And just so we're clear: it does not matter if a zionist says they're sad about Palestinian suffering or they want to "live in peace" with Palestinians because as long as they support the existence of a colonial ethnostate called Israel then they're still doing Zionism. If I came to your house and just started living there and tried to starve you out and torture you so you would leave your house, it wouldn't matter that I felt "sorry" for you because I'm the reason you're suffering at all. That's why when you try and say "well, Neil Druckman says he wants the war to stop" that doesn't matter. He's still a zionist. He still wants Israel to exist as a colonial state which will always be at the expense of Palestinians. Do not fall for liberal Zionists. Get it in your fucking head that there's no "progressive" Zionism because there's no "progressive" way to support a state that necessitates the elimination of whole peoples.
Hi y'all, I'm a disabled trans native person and my birthday is coming up soon (Feb 19) and I'm REALLY low on money and have credit card payments + bills coming up.
I'm still trying to recover finances as well after unexpected vet bills and the loss of two pets just before the new year, so any help would be incredibly appreciated ♡ It's my first birthday away from home and it would be. Really nice if I could have a bit of relief and lower stress for finances while I'm in a different country (the US, I'm canadian) during my bday.
Tl;dr - I'm trans, disabled, native, and away from home for my birthday for the first time, in the USA, and it would be nice to not be as stressed about money during this time.
Anything helps, including reblogs ♡♡ and if people want to commission me instead, just DM me and we can work out details! (I've got pay what you can open right now)
executive dysfunction tips! It gets easier to do a task if you dress appropriately first!! It’s much easier to get started once you’re wearing the right clothes for the headspace.
