Fun Fact About Kecleon Markets in Dungeons

So something i like to do when i see an item i really want but am short on money is this:

First find the stairs on the floor (this is key)

Next, go into the bag and (if you have one and remembered to bring it along) locate the item called "Trawl Orb"

This item draws all items on the floor to your location

Oh look, all of Kecleon's overpriced shit is here! Well it's not on the mat so it's free right? ;)

Sadly Kecleon won't agree with our sound logic and go on their way to HUNT YOU DOWN

Good news is, if you did this right you're already at the stairs!

Not so good news is the Kecleon is really fast, so depending on distance and how long you take to get the items and back to the stairs you may get attacked

But if all goes well you're scott free!

Bonus Idea: grab all the items and use a Pure Seed to warp you to the stairs (haven't actually tried this one yet but it just occurred to me as a plausible way to work around Kecleon's anti-stealing measurements)

Edit: Pure Seed does work, but not without some casualties (aka: the party members you leave behind) :(

Serious Query

So I just took like an hour to think up and draw the chapter page for chapter two of my comic

Meaning that along with the one page intro, chapter one is complete

So i ask you all:

Should i start the finishing touches to the completed chapters for release and post them?

If i keep to my own schedule (which is like around nine to 3:30 every weekday) i should get it done fairly quickly as the completed content is pages 1-6

I haven't made the cover page yet because i really need to brainstorm on that shit

I also need to think of a general series title....

Intrigue

    It was an accepted fact, Mitch and Kira decided, that despite how much Nova annoyed the two, the unkillable man that very much wanted to die was still fascinating. The reapers have seen many anomalies over the centuries; souls deeply attached to a particular life, souls that reformed whilst still in a human's body, but never have they seen something like Nova. There have been many theories as to what is going on, or how it ever came to be. Kira sticks with the simple explanation that the man just doesn’t have a soul. Mitch, however, thinks otherwise.

As the head reaper, Mitch has seen humans without souls: they’re hollow. Husks that clearly show they do not harbor anything. Depending on the person, these people whom the reapers call Hollows, their threat level varies, as well as the difficulty to kill them. Thankfully, now that Life has the sowers, hollows aren’t as frequent of an occurrence. Nova, from experience, does indeed have something inside of him, but it’s not a soul, at least, not one Mitch has ever seen. No soul has ever so blatantly refused to let it’s host die.

Nova… Just what are you?

I don't feel good... So I put on my boyfriend’s hoodie to think of him while I try to pass out for the night, and curled up in bed.

Well I guess I also drew this cos of it... tried out some stuff, pretty happy with it.

To my adorkable sweetheart, when you inevitably see this, I love you and miss you so much. Just thinking of you makes my day a little brighter no matter how good or bad it’s going.

I know you’ll love this because it has 3 of your favorite things: me, my art, and me wearing this hoodie.

Fear

    There were few things in this world that unsettled Kira: reminders of his parents and his childhood, the first time he’d witnessed Grim snap, Mitch being furious, watching Nova’s body piece itself back together in disturbing ways, and when Calem doesn’t greet him upon his return home. Everything else, such as the corpses he retrieved souls from, felt mundane and normal by the time he’d turned twelve. So when the nineteen-year-old met a being with milky white eyes and stitches across their lips and throat, he thought nothing much of it. Rather he asked the nameless being why their mouth was stitched...

    And instantly regretted it.

    The beings lips surprisingly parted, just barely, and a pale mist escaped the newly formed gap. It lifted and curled itself into the air, small blue flames fading into existence.

    Then came the screams.

    Hellish screams, wailing and ringing in Kira’s ears. His skin paled to a sickly toned white, and he could only stand there, petrified and looking at the being with what he could only assume was a mixture of horror and a blank stare.

    He promptly took the being back to the manor and expressed his concerns to Mitch. Whatever they were, they shook something in his very core that screamed every level of wrong back at him.

    And that wasn’t okay.

Today I decided to look for my most popular art piece from the past and redraw it. And that piece waaaaas...

DAVEKAT BEDTIME

Seriously, as of posting this, the original work has exactly 299 notes on it.

That’s 1 away from 300, and it’s the highest number any of my posts have achieved! (the only one even close to it was a crack post of Davekat using one of those “draw the crew” templates and the only other one to break 100 was yet another Davekat post with some Rosemary on the side)

While this is disheartening, I hope that with little things like this I can grow my online presence so i can share my art and comics and stories with the world!

Drawing has always been one of my greatest passions even if I’m not as good at it as others.
