ALRIGHT. LISTEN UP.
So recently, I got calls from the phone number, (937) 353-8319. They claim to be a job service, and one of their “employees”, Carrigan, is friends with whoever the call recipient is, and that Carrigan has recommended you for this $15.00/h “job”. I also got a text message from (937) 607-1493, claiming to be Carrigan, and that they need stuff to “win a scholarship”. I do not know anyone by the name of Carrigan and I know very well that this is a very dangerous scam. If you receive a call from a number, and they ask you if you would like a job for $15.00/h, HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. If you accept the “job” offer, and you go in for an interview, they will give you a drugged bottle of water and you will wake up somewhere you don’t want to be. These phone calls & texts are from a human trafficking service, and if you oblige to them, you will be sold to people and you will be raped, no doubt about it. So PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS OR TEXTS. I have listened to the voicemails, and allowed my dad to do the same, and he learned that anyone offering a $15.00/h “job” is a human trafficker. PLEASE SIGNAL BOOST THIS ALL OVER TUMBLR

Then, well, I made a booktube that has all of those things. Check it out if you so wish.
Look it me.
There's only one video up there right now but I already have 3 and a bit filmed, and lots more planned.
This has been an announcement, thanks for reading if you stopped to read. You may continue on with your life.
Where an already endangered species is on the brink of functional extinction...
Oh, and 500 million animals unique to this country have already lost their lives, upon homes that have been destoryed and lives lost of people as well...
I mean... we're only living in a literal inferno...
415 fires. Fuck are we dying...
Oh yeah and people are just fleeing to the damn ocean, you know?
Do you want to know what Hell on Earth looks like..?
Because there it is in all it's unfiltered, firey rage...
There it is... my home from space...
This is only the beginning. Our country has not only entered a new decade, it seems a new dawning era as well, because this flaming apocalypse doesn't show any sign of stopping any time soon.
And you know what saddens me? I've never seen Australian tragedies trending here on this website. I mean it's been going on for months and only now does it seem to really be getting recognized, even if it is only at #9.
And I'm going to be honest with you here - the internet, and media in general is so American centric, this website being no exception. You'd think that an entire continent being on fire for several months with devastating consequences would have more recognition, but no, it really doesn't. The most notes I've ever seen on a post about the Australian fires is at least a few thousand, and that's about it.
So just... please. If you can, with this post or any other post in regards to the fires going on down here, reblog. Because the only thing that should be spreading like wildfire, is a post about a burning country...
Tolkien:
- Raised Catholic
- Considered his mom a martyr for the faith and said so
- Delayed engagement to Edith because his priest guardian told him to wait
- Major influence in converting C.S. Lewis to Christianity
- Was scandalized by Lewis marrying a divorcée
- Assisted at Mass
- Wrote a positively gut-wrenching imagination of purgatory
- Gave his main character of LOTR the ‘real name’ of Maura and had him destroy the ring, thus saving the world, on March 25th, the date of the Annunciation in the Catholic calendar
- Wrote a creation account that was a very explicit imagination of medieval Catholic understanding
- Said that the single most important thing he left to his son would be a love for the Eucharist
- Post-Vatican II would Very Loudly say the responses at Mass in Latin, embarrassing his grandson
“Oh but he was just culturally Christian!”

HTTYD au were they all work at the zoo! I’ve only seen modern au’s where the dragons are pets or cars, but I always thought Toothless would make a great panther. Finding animal counterparts for the other dragons was tricky, but I’m pretty happy :P
Making She-Ra characters on Sims 4 Number 3!
Featuring Swift Wind as probably the most cursed thing I’ve ever made, and Glimbow. They’re so cute :D Made Glimmer a spellcaster because glowy orb things and teleporting.
Please don’t come for me about Swift Wind’s terrible paint job. I’m fragile :o
Probably going to do the princess of sarcasm and UGH next.
One thing I love about Wicked is that Fiyero's very first song subtly suggests that there's much more to his supposed idiocy than meets the eye. He's singing about the virtues of ignoring school and being brainless, but he's using phrases like "life is fraught less," and "worry is rife," and even arguably "stop studying strife" and "woes are fleeting, blows are glancing," none of which are things you would expect to come out of an academically unintelligent person's mouth.
And more than that, his rhymes are quick, concise, and clever – he's good at wordplay. It's a musical, so obviously everyone's going to be rhyming all the time, but that doesn't mean certain characters can't have different levels of skills at it (consider Glinda's "populer... lar..."). For all Foyero hates school and wants to live the #airhead life, he can't completely hide his wit.
