I am using a little OC of mine for this, since I think she really fits the Bad Sanses (ahem she's crazy ahem). We're in a scenario where she's been with the gang for a while now. There is no romanticism in this, I think it'll mainly be her interacting with the gang following the prompts. It's also a weird mix of canon and fanon. I tried my best, but beware of the cringe >_<

Ashes belongs to me
Dust stared at the screen of the console with the image of game over for him for a long moment. Then he stared at the laughing mess beside him going by the name of Ashes. Then he looked back at the screen, confused and trying to figure out what just happened as Horror and Killer, who were also playing with him to the game that just ended, stared in awe and surprise at the screen as well wondering the same thing. In all of this, Ashes's screen was the only one showing the victory screen. And the little showoff was laughing her soul out at their misery
It all started with a relatively innocent series of events. Killer had challenged Dust to a round of Mario Kart 8 deluxe with a bet, Dust took it, and they spent some time playing when Horror joined as well. They had been playing for a few rounds before Ashes decided to let her presence be known... In her usual way
"Watcha doin?"
She had suddenly popped up from nowhere and jumpscared Horror by sneaking up on him while he was focused and asking him that directly to his ear. His natural reaction had been to pin her on the ground and spawn a few bones, but he got a hold of himself before butchering her head and let her go. Of course Ashes found it hilarious, but after her fit of giggles Killer explained what they were doing.
"Ohhhhh, nice. Imma join"
She sat down next to Dust, who scooted over a little, and grabbed a controller.
They spent a while choosing which of the battle modes they would play, eventually settling for Renegade roundup because Ashes was weirdly insistent on playing it for some reason. They put her in team with Horror and they called dibs to be Authorities. Dust was a little annoyed by that because despite the name, being an Authority was pretty cool, but he supposed it didn't matter since they'd swap later. Then the round started.
Immediately after, they found out she was better at the game than they predicted. She captured the other Renegades swiftly with a little help from Horror, the bots falling like flies in front of her ruthlessness, before setting off to finding and capturing Killer and Dust. She played with them like the cat and a couple of canaries, letting them go before capturing them again with a sadism Dust had seen her show only in battle. She let Killer free, but she never let him free Dust or the other Renegades and captured him only when there were only a few seconds left, leaving them staring at the screen bitterly. Then the next round came, the roles swapped, everyone got ready.
And they discovered the true reason why Ashes wanted to play this mode so much.
Throughout the entirety of the round, nor Killer or Dust managed to capture her a single time. She sprinted away right before they were going to catch her, pulling moves so incredible they didn't know how she pulled them off, teasing them by sprinting right in front of them and evading capture. Her and Horror won that round, and the round after, and all the other rounds, Ashes showing off incredible tricks just to mock them.
So at one point, they decided that she'd be playing against everyone else in the final round. They planned everything, building up an ambush, trying to guide her there and get her. They had her trapped, there were a few seconds left, Killer sprinted to get at her-
She used the feather she had in her inventory. And she jumped over him.
The game ended.
And now Dust was wondering where the heck did she learn how to play like that, but most of all he was fuming. It was clear she was just being a showoff for the entire duration of the game.
When he turned to confront her about it, she was gone

It had been a while ever since anything interesting happened. There hadn't been missions nor supply runs as the Boss was satisfied with how everything was going for now, and nothing special happened in the castle also as Ashes seemed to tone down her "pranks" a little ever since what happened with Horror. He had to say, she recovered pretty well considering what he did to her. The others questioned what happened to her incessantly when she came back but whether she knew what really happened or not she avoided all the questions.
Everyone was busy doing their own things, Killer down in the training room because he probably wanted to send away some of his boredom by beating up the dummies, Dust was in his room probably taking a nap or doing something with his phone, the Boss being in his office as always handling whatever paperwork he had and Ashes being somewhere in the castle, either wandering or with Killer. Ever since what Horror called the Lesson she seemed to take a particular interest in Killer, neglecting Horror and Dust, not that they were complaining really. The more time she stayed away from them the better.
As for Horror, he was actually in the living room with some wooden blocks besides him and some little already carved wooden statues on his other side, him working on one right now. He had some carving knives in his hands, and used his sharp claws to carve little details from time to time, putting everything he finished on his right side and taking another block from the ones on his left to repeat the process again. Every statue he had was some kind of animal, mostly preys like bunnies but some were also predators, like the bear he had just finished drawing, and some being things from his AU like the cannibal Temmies that lived in Waterfall or the beasts that roamed Snowdin's woods that terrified even him.
Not many people knew that Horror liked carving things. Well, he didn't like just that, he liked doing many things that usually involved using his hands. Back in his AU he could only do it with set things that were useful, like sorting through the food they had or recalibrating his puzzles when Papyrus insisted on it, but here he wasn't under as much pression so he found different things he could do. Of course some things he kept, like sharpening his weapons or going through the food stocks, but he had also found that wood carving and a few other things coulddo the trick. It was kinda relaxing, it kept his hands and his mind occupied on the task he had and he could forget where or who he was for a second, just doing things.
That was until a certain someone ruined the quiet and came to disturb him in the middle of carving another statue.
"Sooooo, wassup big giant?"
Ashes popped up out of seemingly nowhere, getting near his table and grabbing one of his statues. She inspected it close, looking at it for a few moments before tossing her up and down in the air, catching it before it hit the pavement before throwing it again.
"Whatcha doin with these little things?"
Horror sighed and muttered a curse under his breath. While it was true that she wasn't as damaging as before, Ashes was still very annoying without being a straight up problem. He made sure all his other statues were safe before answering, eyelight still trained on the block he was carving now.
"You blind? I'm carving some things."
She just chuckled, propping herself up on the table with her arms under her as she laid her chin on her hands with a smug expression.
"Jeez, no need to be so pissy, I was just asking.~"
Horror knew she wasn't just asking, she was searching for entertainment and she conveniently found him so now she'd annoy him. Even with what he did, she could never be scared off that easily and always came back.
"Ohhhh, this one looks interesting~"
She took another one of his statues, representing one of the monsters back in Horror's AU, and looked at it closely before starting to juggle with it and the other she had snatched earlier, making complex tricks with them and looking at Horror
"Aww, not impressed? Oh well, guess I'll have to step it up a notch then~"
And with that, she summoned a fireball and started juggling with it too. Horror immediately got a little tense, but made no move as he just observed Ashes with a wary eye. She had pulled some stunts like this before, but he tended to notice they almost never ended up in destruction, and he knew Ashes was laying low recently, so he wasn't overly worried. Still, he kept a close eye on her as she juggled with admittedly impressive skill, sometimes even using one hand while the other took other statues and added them in. When she eventually stopped, she piled the statues in one hand while grabbing the fireball with the other and extinguishing it by closing the hand, putting all the statues back in their places. She giggled at Horror's surprised expression.
"I see I managed to impress you~"
Horror stared ar her, then at the statues before asking
"Where'd you learn to do that"
At this, her smile got a little wider, as she tilted her head and answered
"You're not the only one who can keep secret hobbies, big guy."
She paused for a moment, staring into the void, before adding
"Once you do what I did and learn what I learned, it's easy to develop skills with your hands very, very quickly. But you know all about that, don't you?"
At that, Horror stayed silent. It was true. The only reason he was so good with his hobbies was because of what he did back in his AU.
"Aaaaanyway, I'm going to see if I can find a bird to hang to the ceiling. Cya!~"
And with that, she was gone.

I tried to mess around with Ashes' pov with this one

Ashes belongs to me
The voices were at it again. Twisting, whispering, screaming and screeching into her ears, pulling at the broken fragments of her mind now that she was at her weakest. Ashes felt a laugh bubbling up in her throat, a gurgling feeling in her mouth as she half coughed half giggled and a drop of blood fell from her mouth and onto the dusty floor of the dungeon she found herself in. Chains pulled heavily where they closed around her wrists and ankles, rattling as she moved and wiped the blood away from her mouth. She knew something was broken inside her, but she chose to ignore that and focused the energies that were slowly coming back to her to instead hear something above the whispers and examine the surroundings.
She couldn't remember how she got here. Which was strange, but not unusual since she always locked away the memories that found a way to hunt her. She shivered, observing the shadows and seeing them writhe. She knew He was watching. She knew that whatever lesson He decided to teach her this time would remain forever marked into her broken mind and soul, making sure she never disobeyed or displeased Him again. The god to which she sold her soul made sure His broken vessel would always be the perfect puppet to spread chaos and wreak havoc, and even though her mind was torn and her fear was taken away she still knew better than to annoy Him. She didn't fear Nightmare, or Error, or any other person she ever met, but she feared Him.
She strayed away from that trail of thoughts and registered that she was in a cell in the castle's dungeons, heavy chains not only around her wrists and ankles but also around her neck, and she could feel the effects of some kind of sedative wearing off. The cell wasn't very large, barely able to contain a person, and the bars were directly in front of her. She must've snapped pretty bad if the others decided to lock her away in here. She had to say, it was really impressive that they even managed to take her here. She thought about how to free herself, and started twisting her arm to get it out of the restraints, losing the will midway through as she just wanted to see if she could break her own bones like this.
She heard a noise as she was immediately distracted and she raised her head, seeing two cyan and red eyelights and the weight of a thousand souls staring back at her. She smiled and dropped her arm to the ground, completely captured by the skeleton in front of her now instead. Now this was an interesting sight.
"Lookie here who it is, the silent soul! Having fun watching the freak in her cage?"
He didn't answer, as always. He was always the funniest to mess around, his logic brain always struggled to catch up to her madness and she knew it, making sure to be as unpredictable as possible around him to plant the seeds of confusion. Confusion led to fear, fear led to anger, and once there was enough anger things easily spiraled out of control and Ashes could say to have reached her goal. She knew he didn't trust her one bit, and she got proof of that in a situation similar to this some time before. It was indeed fun to see him, of all people, to snap. Fun indeed.
"Come on, step forward and speak to me, I promise I don't bite~"
He didn't step forward, but he said something.
"Do you remember anything that happened?"
She tilted her head, deciding to mess around with him for a while yet.
"Mmmmaybe, mmmmaybe not, what do you say?"
She could basically feel his frustration now.
"You had a mental breakdown. Boss tried to snap you out of it, but you snapped at him instead and you two fought."
Ashes put up an expression of fake surprise.
"Really?! That's why I feel like I was hit by a truck then!"
That was a lie, Ashes couldn't feel anything, but she thought it would be appropriate to say.
"He messed you up real bad"
Ashes wondered how much of that victory was really because of Nightmare's skills in combat, and how much of it had to do with Ashes not really being at her peak, Nightmare's powers to get whatever negativity she was feeling out of her and his immortality. She doubted she would've left anyone alive, especially if that someone was the Guardian of Negativity and his death would damage the balance of emotions greatly causing chaos in the universe. Sure, she wanted to have fun with this one, but she wasn't herself when she fought.
On an unrelated side note, she wondered how many of the voices were real souls and how many fragments of her broken mind.
She was snapped back into focus as Dust spoke up again
"You were fighting like a beast"
She giggled, smile widening a little. Of course he would say that. She could feel the question behind those eyes, but he didn't realize he fell into a trap as well.
"Mhhhhhhh, I suppose I did. Would've been fun to watch, but I suppose I don't get to. After all..."
She raised her head, eyes and smile devoid of any emotion.
"You know how these kind of things work, don't you Dust?~"
She saw him tense up. She watched as he tightened his fists, then stuffed his hands inside his hoodie. She stared and he stared back.
It was during one of his LV crisis. She had walked in to it, and purposely guided him out of his room and made him attack Horror. Eventually Nightmare stepped in, he knocked Dist out and locked him in the dungeon as well to avoid any other incident like that. No one knew Ashes caused everything and Dust didn't remember, but it was always fun to remember Dust about it. At the time, she was the one watching from outside of the bars.
Her chains rattled again, as she moved into a standing position and got to the bars, gripping them and pressing against them.
"C'mon, silly. You wanted to talk with me, you can talk. Or do you have better things to do?"
She saw him hesitate. She saw him pull his hood higher up. She watched him walk away, his footsteps echoing in the dungeons.
And she was left alone again.

Ashes belongs to me
Dust knew Ashes was a very tough opponent. He saw how she fought in battle, when they attacked AUs and Dream and the Star Sanses showed up. She threw herself at the enemy with reckless abandon, taking hit after hit with nonchalance and hitting hard and fast, leaving little to no room to dodge or attack back. But he expected her to be very bad at dodging, seeing how she basically threw herself into the enemy's attack.
Seeing how this was a sparring match where the first one to hit the other won, and seeing how he was pretty good at dodging, Dust expected to have at least a slight advantage on her though.
It wasn't until they started fighting that he understood how badly he had miscalculated.
She was quick to react to his incoming attacks and somehow managed to avoid and squeeze through every single one of his patterns, putting up a good fight even when he tried to change his patterns to catch her off guard. In return, he dodged every single one of her attacks even if with some difficulty, and they kept going at it for some time.
Dust could see from the corner of his eye socket Killer and Horror watching intently, waiting to see who would come out on top in the end. The two of them already fought and were placing bets on how his fight was gonna go, Horror betting on Ashes while Killer thought Dust was gonna win.
Dust snapped back into the fight when a fireball flew by his face, missing him by a few inches. He took a step back and retorted by sending a few bones at Ashes, which she ducked under and sprinted back up and towards him to try and get closer, as Dust teleported away to get some breath. He could feel the exhaustion of the fight starting to settle in, he was determined to win this but Ashes was starting to wear him out. He noticed then that even though she was still going strong she was starting to show the signs of he body getting tired as well, she seemed to not care about it but it was clear she couldn't keep going for long without collapsing.
Dust steeled himself and sent some more bones at Ashes, making some of them come out of the ground as well to which Ashes responded by summoning some fireballs and also sending waves of fire after Dust, who did his best to dodge them, getting his hoodie burned a little but he was quick to put the fire out. He stared at Ashes, trying to guess her next move, and she just smiled at him, sharp teeth flashing at him and eyes locked in his. She summoned flames on her hands, slightly shifting position, and Dust summoned a long bone as he braced for the impact that came a moment later, Ashes launching herself at him with flaming hands and him parrying with his bone.
They stood there wrestling for a few moments, Ashes grabbing his bone staff and him trying to get free and hit her with it, locked in this position where no one could hit anyone. Eventually Dust tried to free himself by jumping back, but Ashes was onto him immediately and tried to take a few swings at him, as he dodged and tried to find an opening to teleport away and attack.
He found himself in a position where he could push Ashes back and get an opening, so he did and teleported away, taking a second to catch his breath. He had to end this quickly, and as he looked over at Ashes he could see she thought something similar. They were both gonna drop soon, and Dust wanted this to end as quickly as possible.
He got an idea, focusing all his remaining energies on a Gaster Blaster and a few bones who trapped Ashes and didn't let her escape the range of the Blaster. She looked up at the Blaster with an almost crazed expression, and she raised her hand as she summoned her own sort of blaster as well, a dragon skull he had sometimes seen her use in battle that spit a powerful blue fire. They both charged up their attacks, then let them fire with all their remaining energies.
The beams of energy and fire clashed in the middle of the sparring arena, and Dust immediately felt the toll as he fed his Blaster more and more energy, gritting his teeth and feeding it one big final wave of energy as a final resort, causing an explosion which let out a lot of smoke as Dust collapsed against the barrier of the sparring arena, gripping at the ropes tightly to sustain himself and waiting for the smoke to clear.
As the smoke slowly faded, Dust saw Ashes' figure slowly get clearer. She was kneeling down, clearly exhausted and panting heavily but still smiling somehow. Dust checked her over for injuries, but he surprisingly found none as he slowly realized what happened.
They both came out unscathed from the match.
It was a draw.
Regarding your headcannon. I think it's very reasonable that magic and physical attacks are separate. But there's one thing that bugs me... If Asgore fought humans when monster kind were at war with humans and knows they fight physically. Why wouldn't he expect Frisk to fight physically? Especially since the game also hints at the fact that the previous humans that fell never went past him. Basically saying he fought the past human kids who are now in glass containers who I'd assume also fought physically
Well, as I said the main two reasons that come to my mind is 1. His skills are probably rusty at best, after years probably decades maybe even centuries of not fighting humans, if not disappeared at all that is and 2. There's still the whole regret factor. This probably held him back from trying to recall his skills.
Ok, I wanted to clarify (these are my opinions, mind you) the tiny difference between a Perseverance soul and a Determination soul, since many people seem to think they are practically the same.
Perseverance is the will to keep doing the same thing over and over again even if initially it doesn't work because you hope to reach a certain outcome. Determination instead is the will to reach that outcome, not necessarily with the same ways though.
I'll make an example based on the battle system in Undertale bc it's funny.
A Perseverance soul will pick a method to survive the enemy, be it by killing, attacking then sparing, running, or acting, and then stick with it for the whole run. If they meet an enemy that isn't compatible with their way of fighting, say for example Mettaton and running, they will try to survive as long as they can and keep trying to run away.
A Determination soul instead will try to defeat the enemy in all the ways they can. No matter the procedure, the important thing is the ending. So they will try other things too of course.
There is a thin line between these two terms, so I thought I'd make the difference clear for all of those who didn't want to search on Google. You're welcome.
That's so cool! Sorry if I didn't understand well, but does that mean that I can join the adventure too?!! If I can, I'll explode from the pure joy.
So, my YouTube algorithm suggested me a live of a d&d session set in the UTMV???Uh?????
Who is the genius that had the idea? How does it work? Most important of all, will there be other sessions after this one? If yes, then that's a dream come true.
Hey there! That was a combination of me and most of my discord server!
I wanted to start a DnD campaign that most in my server would enjoy, and we all usually bond over the UnderTale MultiVerse, so I created a homebrewed system based on UnderTale so we can play. (Which, if you want to use the system, you are more than welcome to do so! I just ask for credits 😃)
As you watch the sessions, it comes clear you have some pacifist actions, and genocide actions. Each is tied to a soul and a primary color, determining your resource and damage for that action. Each player created their own characters and attacks, making each unique. We all started in the Omega Timeline and they got 'hired' to run genocide/pacifist runs within various AUs. It's a great way to introduce OCs to the world who wants to watch!
There will be many sessions after the previous ones, yes! The story has just begun, and it's setting up the canon lore for UnderReinado, a subsection and an AU created by Iro!Sans.
As for another campaign entirely, we will see! I hope to continue a campaign, but it ultimately depends if people want to join and if the YouTube audience likes it enough.
Thanks for your question and interest! It does mean a lot!
Yes.
It doesn't matter how strange the interaction is.
I don't care if you tell me the most random of things.
Interact with me.
Reblog if you want more interaction with your mutuals and followers :D
