hey limoreau enjoyers I am taking asks on Marie/Jordan situations for me to write up a lil drabble on :] I’m down for anything! I’ll also be using this to sort of test the waters on what I need to work on writing wise.

okay so hear me out. An AU where Marie never kills her parents but still has some tension in the fam because she’s a supe and they aren’t n maybe. She just doesn’t want to be a supe, and she would rather have just been regular shmegular human. (Maybe instead of her parents dying she explodes their pet dog, which is equally as tragic)

She gets accepted into God U, doesn’t know how to feel about it and BAM road-trip for self discovery or some shit. N she picks up the group (tm) after their car broke down and they were literally stranded. However just before this she meets Jordan at a gas station and they bicker about something stupid n so when she sees them with Luke, Cate, n Andre on the side of the road she’s like oooouuuu asking for my help now?

Road trip AU…. Road trip AU….. Maybe the road-trip is even all of them on their way TO God U bc like. They all live super far away for some reason when school is out and they aren’t in their dorms.

And ofc Emma has to pop up too because I love Emma n Marie friendship they mean so much 2 me.

no because I also thought this and it reflects in the fic I’m doing, but since episode 7? I switched it over to it being more vague on whether or not they knew each other because when they’re getting thrown together in that one room one of them recognizes/name drops one of the other supes in there. I’ve started to assume the facility is bigger than it let’s on and they have controlled environments where the supes would interact with each other for one reason or another.

I definitely hope we see more on this though like I’m super curious as to how The Woods functioned!

also, just got to the scene where sam is talking about andy (the supe who died from the virus) and they way sam was talking about him like they were friends, i didn’t know all the kids in the woods knew each other? i just assumed they were kept locked up for years with no other interactions with other supes

No because Emma really went through that experience of meeting a boy you think is different only to end up realizing he’s just like every other guy and it’s DEVASTATING.

I haven’t seen anyone talk about it yet but I just think Emma wasn’t necessarily boiled down to being the “This isn’t who you are Sam 🥺” girl, I think this is just. A reflection of a part of Emma. I’m not sure how to put this, but I think she was just so hung up on wanting Sam to be good for her because she wanted to have that sort of love that wasn’t just exploiting her powers. Which is a reoccurring theme in both her platonic, familial, and sexual relationships. (Her mom, the girl she confessed to throwing up to use her powers, the guy she had sex with)

Thinking lots about Emma girl!! I think she’s so interesting because like. From a glance you’d think she’s the bubbly friend who’s just really sunshine and rainbows but in retrospect she’s actually pretty mellow and very insecure about herself and at heart is a people pleaser who forgives too easily. (Which also makes me think that she’s not used to getting an apology, and is instead used to being used and mistreated so much so that when Marie communicated with her it seemed to be very relieving for Emma.)
