a/n. it's been a hot minute, y'all. this is inspired by a reel i saw on instagram (@dagirlythang), although i believe this is one of those notorious accounts that reposts content from other creators without proper citation :\ still, credit is due where it's (partially) due. anywho, i haven't written in a WHILE, but i hope this still scratches the itch for some of you. enjoy! from where he’s just put the car in park, bakugou looks at you—first, instinctively—then carefully, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion at the sight of what you’re holding.

his normally crimson eyes that are seeming darker under the dim light of his brand new porsche dart up to meet yours. “the fuck is that?”

you frown at his unexpectedly hostile reaction, although it’s quick to morph into a look of realization when it hits you belatedly.

“shit, sorry,” you half-laugh, half-sputter, hurriedly returning it to your bag before reaching into its depths for your phone. you thumb in your password in almost less than a second, gaze trained on the app as you click it, “i forgot you preferred cashless transactions.”

you’re in the middle of typing in bakugou’s phone number—you’re embarrassed to admit you already have it memorized just two weeks into dating him—when your device is unceremoniously yanked out of your grip—so fast that you could barely squeak in surprise. you whip to face the pro-hero—about to reprimand his ear off for ripping it away from your hands like that—when you catch a glimpse of his features and all the words suddenly die in your throat.

uh oh.

“tell me,” he starts, voice low, and you find yourself gulping despite yourself. “did i buy this car so i can quit hero work and be a driver?”

“…no?”

a scowl. “then why are you treating me like i’m you’re fucking uber?”

you blanch. “i’m not! i just figured i give you some gas money.”

“why the fuck would you send me gas money?”

you know better than to answer that, so you shake your head and ignore the way he’s practically glowering at you, before pulling out the wad of cash from earlier, “is this much okay—”

“you ain’t sending me shit,” bakugou essentially spits—cutting you off—just as he reaches over the console and thrusts your hand back into your wallet.

he’s still gripping onto your phone.

you toss him an exasperated expression.

that earns you an eye roll. “don’t.”

you pout. “why won’t you let me help?”

“this isn’t about help, dumbass,” bakugou drawls, mirroring your irritation. “i won’t be caught dead asking my girlfriend for money.”

you try to breeze past the way he just referred to you as his girlfriend, masking your fluster with a scoff. “so it’s a pride thing now?”

the ash-blonde sneers. “more like the bare fucking minimum.”

to that, you snort, although you can’t fight the smile that tugs at your lips. “easy for you to say, rich guy.”

“watch it,” he warns, and you break into a laugh, then laugh harder when his mouth wobbles in a sorry attempt to keep a stern face.

that grants you a playful punch to the shoulder, which you take in stride, still chuckling. soon enough, the air falls into a quiet lull with neither of you making a move to get out and into your apartment’s parking lot. this goes on for a few beats, before bakugou finally breaks the silence.

“p-promise me.”

bewildered, you glance at the pro-hero, who’s looking straight ahead onto the wall beyond the car. “promise you what?”

he swallows, as if nervous. “that you’ll get used to this.”

your eyes widen, suddenly speechless. the urge to ask him what he means by ‘this’ quickly surfaces—something tells you it’s more than just him spending on you—albeit dies down just as swiftly. the last thing you want is to ruin the moment.

instead, you settle with peering at him curiously for another minute, before: “…do i have a choice?”

at that, bakugou turns to you, grinning. “nah.”

You weren’t expecting it.

Just a quick push—little hands on your side, frustration bursting out of him before he even thought it through.

You stumbled back half a step, more shocked than anything.

“Hey!” you snapped. “That is not okay. We don’t push people.”

Your son glared up at you, seven years old and already way too good at attitude.

“You always ruin everything!” he shouted. “I don’t care! I hate you!”

Your mouth opened, stunned—but before you could get a word out—

“The hell did you just say?”

The hallway went quiet. Katsuki’s voice cut through like a knife.

Your son turned slowly, already regretting it. Katsuki stood in the doorway, arms crossed, jaw locked, eyes narrowed.

He walked in, calm but tight, every step deliberate. “Try saying that again.”

The boy’s lips trembled. “I didn’t mean it…”

“You shoved her,” Katsuki said. “And then said that? You think that’s okay?”

“No…”

“Then why’d you do it?”

“I was just mad!”

“You’re gonna get mad,” Katsuki said, crouching down to his level. “That’s normal. But if you think throwing your hands or saying crap like that gets you what you want—you’ve got it all backwards.”

He pointed toward you without breaking eye contact. “You don’t ever talk to your mom like that. You don’t touch her. You don’t yell at her. I don’t care if you’re angry or tired or whatever—you don’t cross that line.”

“I didn’t mean to hurt her…”

“You still did,” Katsuki said, standing up again. “Now go to your room. We’ll talk more when you’ve calmed down.”

The kid looked between the two of you, tears threatening, then turned and ran off down the hall. The door clicked shut.

You exhaled slowly, rubbing your temples. “That was... intense.”

Katsuki sighed, ran a hand through his hair. “Yeah. Well. He’s not gonna grow up thinking that crap’s normal.”

You nodded. “He’s never acted like that before.”

“He’s testing limits.” Katsuki looked at you, jaw still tense. “Just gotta make sure he knows where the line is.”

He moved closer, eyes on yours now. “You okay?”

You gave him a tired smile. “Fine. Just didn’t expect him to go full tiny Bakugou on me.”

That earned the smallest smirk from him. “Yeah, that’s on me.”

He rested a hand on your back, grounding you. “You don’t ever let him treat you like that. No matter how little he is. He needs to know who the hell he’s talking to.”

You leaned into his side. “Thanks for backing me up.”

“Always,” he muttered. “No one messes with my girl. Not even my own damn kid.”

hi im back to gush abt my big ol’ men…

idk but iwaizumi/ushijima would TOTALLY be the type to wake up before you, go to the gym or go on a run, and then gently wake you upJSJSJIAIFF

he would wake up way before you , he tried bribing you to go to the gym with him in the morning but ofc you kept refusing. that was fine by him tho, he’d wake up without an alarm as to not bother you, then try to slip his big ol’ arms from under and around you without waking you up because he just got so used to hugging you tight at night to prevent you from moving away from him, then he’d press a small kiss on your forehead , taking a second to admire how peaceful you looked sleeping, unbothered , dreaming about god knows what. your boyfriend always tried his best to be back before you woke up , only taking about an hour or so before he’s in your shared kitchen cooking something nice and healthy for you to start up your day with. “good morning angel…” he pressed a small kiss on your forehead as you stretched in bed, the smell of breakfast waking you up as he pushed a strand away from your face “let’s get you to the kitchen before the food gets cold.” he would carry you you there because he just loves to carry his lil angel around.

thinking about Pro hero Bakugo who wears a locket on him at all times. The picture in it? A beautiful picture of you smiling on your wedding day.

It's not on a necklace where it can snag or get pulled but somewhere else, safer. Also not as visible. But then the press gets a photo of him and someone sees it.

The pretty design on the back of the golden locket stands out. The press and his fans go crazy over it. Everyone already knows Bakugo is down bad for his wife but now there's a locket with unknown photos in it.

Bakugo chooses to ignore it till he's in an interview and gets asked "so everyone's dying to know. What's in this secret locket of yours?" A confused look comes to his face.

"That's a stupid question, my wife of course."

Kiss the chef ꨄ - w/katsuki

Katsuki is an amazing chef, after years of watching his mother cooking and baking in the kitchen, it’s only natural that he'd pick up on the habit.

As time wore on cooking would become one of his main love languages. He isn't too big on physical touch (or so he claims. He’s so clingy...) He's terrible at compliments and expressing his feelings without adding some witty comments, though he tries, it's safe to say words of affirmation aren't his main love language. But acts of service (specifically cooking/baking) he could do that.

Whether it be Japanese, American, Korean, Mexican, Italian, etc, this man can cook! And it's always the best food you've ever had. I mean so good your taste buds are dancing, celebrating and, thanking whatever food god there is for blessing them with these amazing flavors and spices.

He also hates when you ask to go out for fast food like McDonald's or Wing Stop, his answer is always "No, we have McDonald's at home.” while he proceeds to make you the best burger and fries you've ever had.

One day you're on break at work and start scrolling through TikTok to pass the time. While scrolling you come across a video of a woman making homemade chicken and waffles + cinnamon rolls from scratch (idk I saw a TikTok of both recently so that's on my mind.) and they looked so good!

You send the TikTok's to katsuki of course, like you always do.

“Look how good this looks! She's eating like royalty and I'm stuck at work eating leftovers 💔.” - YOU

"It's cinnamon rolls, chicken and waffles ou how is that "royalty" idiot? - KATS

"And I made those left overs so have some respect would you.”

“I never said the leftovers were bad.“

“I'd just much rather have the royalty meal.”

“‘Royalty meal’ you're such an idiot, get back to work.”

“Fine. See you later I love you ❤️❤️”

“See you idiot.”

“Love you❤️.”

Obviously, after this conversation, he immediately goes to the kitchen and starts setting out the ingredients for the chicken and waffles + cinnamon rolls.

He gets the chicken breasts, cutting them up and pulling Off any extra fat. He mixes his seasonings with the flour and makes the buttermilk. After this he coats the chicken In the flour, then the buttermilk, then back into the flour once more.

After frying all of the chicken he gets started on the waffles, once those are done he sets the chicken and waffles to the side and starts on the cinnamon rolls.

After all of the cooking is done he plates the chicken and waffles, topping the waffles with whipped cream and fruits, before drenching everything In syrup.

Just then the front door unlocks, and a moment later you come into the kitchen.

“You're 10 minuets late, idiot." katsuki says while walking over to you and placing a quick kiss to your forehead.

"Traffic.” you say while clearly more interested in the food on the counter.

“I made yer damn royalty meal or whatever. Taste it.”

You quickly grab the plate and dig In. And of course, it's the best thing ever!? Who knew chicken and waffles could taste like a 10 ⭐️ meal? And you can taste all of the love he cooked it with.

“This is so good i could literally cry.” you say while inhaling the food. Katsuki is just standing there shaking his head.

“It’s literally chicken and waffles you're so dramatic.” he secretly loves that you like the food so much, it makes him happy that he can express his love for you through this action instead of having to use his words because you know.. this guy stinks at communication.

“I made the cinnamon rolls too. They're in the oven.” you push the plate a side, “Give them to me now! Pleaase.”

He rolls his eyes and gets the cinnamon rolls out of the oven and places them on the counter. He grabs a spatula and hands it to you and you immediately try to cut one of the cinnamon rolls out of the pan but he stops you. “Whattt??” You ask with an annoyed look on your face.

“Don’t give me that damn look, idiot. You know the rules. Eat the food, kiss the chef.” He says bluntly. He made this stupid rule up about 6 months into the relationship and now every time u eat anything he cooks he expects a kiss in return.

You let out a huff as if you’re annoyed but there's a large smile on your face. You lean up to kiss the idiot. “There. Now can I eat?”

You’re joking right..? He made you your royalty meal and you have the nerve to PECK his lips? He’s genuinely offended and his face says it all.

“That’s all I get?? Come ‘ere.” he grabs you by the waist and pulls you into a gentle tongue kiss. "Don't you ever disrespect me like that again, eat yer dam food, idiot."
