Accidental caretaker in whump is such a fun trope. Like. Just caretaker finding a whumpee on a random tuesday like some stray kitten on the street and deciding to take it home and then actually bonding

Shove your whumpee against the wall with whumpers arm pressed against their neck. Making Whumpee gasp quietly, fear filling their face as their eyes quickly flutter up to meet Whumper’s.

Whumpees been taken for ransom from right under caretaker’s nose. Weeks pass before they get the call with demands for a chance at getting them back.

But caretaker will hear none of it until they hear whumpee’s voice over the phone.

“Whumpee are you okay?! Have they hurt you?” They cry over the phone. 

“….”

“I’m alive.”

A vampire basically having to be an amazing Caretaker to their blood source because human blood tastes so much better (and maybe more nutritious just for fun) if the human is well fed, happy, calm, ect. Maybe the human wants to stay with the vampire, because honestly this is so much better than their life used to be. They don't have to stress about anything, the food's the best they've ever eaten and they barely ever have to feel scared or sad anymore.

Bonus: The human had a condition that made it much more difficult for them to live life before, whether mental or physical.

✔️ whump faves: I don't get easily triggered so I love it the grosser the darker the NSFW and visceral it is. But I do read and watch fluff too. Tropes: enemies to lovers, mad scientists and labs, fantasy including vampires, dystopian, angst, heavy angst, give it to me !

✔️ other media I enjoy: Star Wars, Marvel/DC
