How it feels to read a really good fic and find the author has dozens more like it
no no. you don't get it. the reason I injure my blorbos until they can't walk is because that's the only way they'll ever let someone else carry them. the reason I curse them to be sick and feverish is so that they'll finally open up about their emotions while delirious. the reason I force them to overexert themselves to the point of exhaustion is so that when they pass out they can finally rest.
I'm doing this for their own good.
writing? oh, i’m definitely writing. in my head. during the most inconvenient times. like in the shower or when i’m about to fall asleep. actual typing? no, no, we don’t do that here.
genuinely fucked up that if i want to interact with someone online i have to say words and have a conversation instead of just mashing my face against them like a cat
I’m a sucker for whumpees with scarred backs.
The criss-crossing lines, evidence of torn flesh and burns, layer upon layer of scar tissue built up until the original skin is essentially gone. The reveal when they take their shirt off. How it stands as a testament to their suffering. Mmmm.
Warnings: captivity, hypothermia, cold torture
“HELLO!” Whumpee shouted as they banged on the door to the cell they’d been thrown into hours ago. “PLEASE! ANYONE!”
They had been banging on the door for hours. Hours after Whumper had shoved them in here. Hours after they had walked every inch of the tiny cell looking for a way to escape. Hours after realizing if they didn’t get out of here soon, they would likely freeze.
“PLEASE!” They said as another shiver wracked their body. They were so cold. And so tired. But they couldn’t stop.
But they had to. It was becoming too hard to raise their fist to the door. Too hard to keep standing. As they slid down the door, rolling into a ball, they began to cry. It was hopeless.
Whumpee was too tired and cold to notice that their tears froze on their cheeks, beading their eyelashes with tiny icicles. They were too cold and tired to notice the camera pointed directly at them from an observation window. And they were too tired and cold to notice when the door finally opened.
When whumpee is already kneeling and whumper hits them, hard, causing them to fall to the ground
Bonus points if they're manhandled back to their knees
Fuck yes baby, keep sending me hate messages, I’m close
The hero shivered in the cold, bundled up in a coat. Their ride was supposed be here a half an hour ago. Out of the blue, a lone taxi pulled up to the curb.
“Need a ride?” The driver asked.
The hero knew that voice. They peeked inside. The villain.
“Not a chance in hell,” the hero hissed. “Get out of here.”
“Come in,” the villain said. “What did I ever do to you?”
“Should I start listing things?”
“Come on. The snow’s about to start.”
The hero looked up. The sky was a concerning shade of grey. Freezing to death, or an unpleasant car ride. They briefly weighed their options.
“Fine,” the hero conceded.
They got right in the passenger seat and reached for a control knob. “But I choose the music.”
A feral whumpee that attacks anyone that comes near them- except for the whumper, as they’re the only person they’re scared of. People that try to help the whumpee are usually hurt by them, and are usually repelled by this behavior.
Having a cliche/typical medieval fantasy setting for my whump OCs is something I feel like I haven’t been using to my advantage enough
- bear traps/animal attacks/other wildlife or nature related whump
- and related, attacks from magical or mythical animals/beasts
- arrow and sword wounds, bringing about infection and fever
- treating injuries without painkillers
- healing magic that hurts, both the person being healed and/or the person healing them (magical exhaustion or taking on the injured person’s pain in order to heal them or similar)
- magic whump, just in general (mind control? poisons, spells that hurt/cause damage to the user, curses and cursed items etc)
- dungeons???
