DEAD BOY DETECTIVES S1 | EDWIN + CHARLES
Charles, I'm in love with you. You don't have to feel the same way. I just need you to know.
I think Wade's aware of what kind of impression he's giving to the kids, so he'd make sure they don't take after him when fighting
There’s definitely a joke here.
Belfort & Lupin share leftovers
WHAT IS THIS the doctor can't call a man beautiful anymore AND has to do a desk job, rogue is decaying in super hell for being gay, ruby has been abandoned yet again, everyone is hetero and depressed and reality is slowly withering away conrad clark your world building couldn't suck more ass when I find you it's on sight
I know Frank did all that to help Matt realize that he needed to become Daredevil again but you can see it on his face that Matt crying was upsetting him too
I think Mad Captain Silvo is his best alias actually
Jod Na Nawood is such a fascinating character, he plays so hard at being ruthless and willing to do cruel things to anyone who gets in his way, but every single chance he gets, he absolutely refuses to hurt anyone innocent. He'll murder other pirates, he'll order an attack on an innocent population, but he goes out of his way to say not to hurt them, trying to justify it through "I need them as workers", but like. How many times would it have benefitted him to kill any of the kids or their parents by the end? Even after all they've done to ruin his plans, he's still upset when he thinks KB died, he didn't even spend much time with her personally and he's still undone by watching her ship go down, "It didn't have to be this way!" he yells, when there's nothing personal in it for him, he's just upset that a innocent child died. He won't kill Wim or Fern, he won't even kill Wendle or Fara when they're actively fucking up his plans and leading to him getting caught. He'll brandish a lightsaber at them, he'll do his level best to seem like he'll hurt them, but when anyone ever calls his bluff, Jod just can't do it. It's such a fascinating performance because Jude Law is really putting his whole chest into Jod's unhinged scarier side, but also you realize, oh, that Jedi got to him good, she really shaped him into someone who cared about others, that this is someone who will justify a lot of shitty actions, who will hurt other pirates, but when it comes to someone innocent? He just can't do it, he's even hurt by the loss of one of them. This is someone who resents these children for being "spoiled" and soft and weak, but underneath that sees these children as valuable, that he doesn't want them hurt, even when they're actively working to get him caught.
