Prompt #69

The supervillain won and finally achieved world domination. It’s all they ever wanted, all they ever dreamed of, but somehow they don’t feel what they expected to. They should feel good. Ecstatic. Content. Satisfied.

Happy.

But they don’t. They just feel empty and restless.

And alone.

So they make themself a new costume and rescue their own archenemy out of their own prison...

Prompt #68

You are a superhero with a secret identity. Or it should be a secret identity, but somehow you are not very good at lying. So everyone knows who you are.

However, nobody ever admits knowing your secret (even though you know that they know).

So when you are standing in the middle of your room in your costume without your mask, you are not really surprised, that your roommate only says: „Cool cosplay.“

Maybe you should have read the job description a bit more attentive. But you just saw that they were looking for a secretary and you really need a job...

And now you are in Hell for a job interview. You probably should go home, but the salary is very good and Satan seems a lot less evil than you would’ve expected. (Definitly less evil than your last boss.)

Apparently it’s a family and they are on their way to a vacation in another solar system, but they must have taken a wrong turn somewhere. They ask you for directions (you can’t help). You ask them, if they want to come inside for a coffee (they do).

A: „You can’t team up with C!“

B: „Why not? C is totally harmless.“

A: „They tried to kill you. Twice.“

B: „Yeah, but that has been months ago. It’s history. They won’t harm me now, right C?“

You lived a perfectly normal life. Then you started to remember things, impossible things. You remember them clearly. You remember magic, you remember flying. You remember dying.

The League of Supervillains sends one of their lesser known members undercover. Said member poses as a superhero to infiltrate the Superhero-Team. And they succeed.

However, the villain has accidentally made friends among the heroes while undercover. They never had friends before. (Among the villains there are no friends, only allies as long as they have a common goal and after that nobody is surprised to get stabbed in the back (literally and figuratively)).

Therefore, the villain doesn’t want to betray his first friends, but neither can they tell them the truth. And if they betray the League of Supervillains, they soon will be right on top of every villain’s to-kill-list...

There is a fairy that has been born without wings. To still fulfill their dream about flying like the other fairies, said fairy decides to risk entering a very strange and dangerous world: the world of the humans.

When the antichrist, the devil’s child, is born, the devil feels something, they haven’t felt in a very long time: love.

So instead of starting the apocalypse (like they are supposed to do), the devil takes their kid to earth, where they live a happy (albeit not really normal) life.

If only the angels would stop trying to fight them...

Prompt #58

You are a villain.

Of course you are. Nobody ever cared about you, nobody ever helped you. Since you remember, you had to fight to survive. You learned early, that you had to rescue yourself, because nobody else would come for your rescue. Survival of the fittest was the only rule you ever learned.

So when the hero, your archenemy, saves your life and is injured in the process, you don’t understand.

You don’t understand why...

Prompt #57

You may be a villain, but not one of the really bad ones. You are actually just a low level thief.

However, you somehow accidentally acquired some kind of super-weapon, made to destroy superheroes (and everything in a 10km radius around them). Since you kinda like this world, you can’t risk this weapon getting in the wrong hands. So you look for a save way to destroy it.

Would be easier, if not every supervillain and superhero were after you (or more precisely: after the weapon).

So apparently your time machine is broken. You just wanted to go back to the sixties. Instead there are dinosaurs running around.

People were talking about the creature haunting the forest.

They were telling children stories about the monster of the forest, who would come for the kids, if they weren’t well-behaved. They were speaking about the ones, who went into the forest and came back pale as the dead, talking about the inhuman creature, who they nearly didn’t escape. And they were whispering about those, who went into the forest and never came back.

You hear the rumors and the stories. You know that most of them aren’t true. But if their belief, that you are a monster, will keep them out of your forest and away from your family, then you are just fine with it. And maybe you scare the few people, stupid or brave enough to go into your territory, to keep the rumors going.

Prompt #54

A lot of superheroes keep their identity a secret by acting differently in and out of costume.

So what happens, when the superhero-team finds out, that the supposedly grumpiest, unhappiest and most silent hero is without his mask a real sunshine?

That’s a really good idea, I didn’t think of that.

I would say, the villain-version of the hero gets thrown into the hero‘s original universe.

(They are propably trying to reach world domination there. Now that everyone seems to think, that the villain is a hero, said villain has a really good opportunity to fulfill their evil goals. However, even though their archenemy is a villain in this universe, too, they are still trying to stop them.)

(The archenemy doesn’t know, why the hero suddenly went dark side, but that‘s not okay. So they have to stop the hero-turned-villain, because what kind of villain would they be, if their archenemy achieves world domination before them?)

Prompt #50

A hero gets thrown into an alternate universe, where they are the villain. Then they save the world together with the alternate version of their archenemy, who is a hero in this alternate universe.

You are a supervillain. You also have been de-aged due to a failed experiment. However, that will not stop your evil plans.

...If your archenemy would just take you seriously. (No, you are not cute, you are very dangerous and you will destroy this city, so if the hero could just stop looking at you, like you were some kind of puppy, that would be great.)

„Fighting, obviously. I mean, they are archenemies and the villain is trying to destroy this city.“

„Yeah, I get that. But why are they exchanging parenting tips?“

„I think, they just both like talking while fighting. And apparently their kids are roughly the same age.“

„Okay, weird...“

Prompt #45

A hero and a villain are a couple. They both know, that the other one is a hero/ villain and have accepted this. They still love each other and want to get married.

The only problem is, that their friends (who are mostly heroes and villains, too) really don’t like the idea of ‚marrying the enemy‘. And maybe the couple should have been a little bit more considerate regarding the seating arrangement for the wedding (whose idea was it to let two archenemies sit at the same table???)...

All your life you had these stories inside your head. You even published several book series playing in different fantasy worlds. Of course you just thought you had quite the imagination, until suddenly a bunch of characters from a few of your books burst through a portal in your living room.

Apparently the stories have been real all along and they were memories from former lives.

When you left home and went to college your allergy started to akt up. Which was weird, because you are only allergic to dogs and there are no animals allowed in the student dorm.

Now you find out why: your roommate is a werewolf. You probably should distance yourself from said roommate. It would be the reasonable thing to do. And your allergy is really unpleasant.

However, you never said, that you were clever and you do like your roommate...
