Tobias doesnt think he is capable of loving someone, and he doesnt believe that he can fulfill Carmelo’s needs, causing him to spiral and beg Carmelo to find someone better. Carmelo convinces Tobias that he is good enough, he’s still growing, and he does not expect him to be perfect.

rudy is in there cause he tried to kill himself , tobias is in there cause he tried to kill his dad and then himself , carmelo is in there cause of suicidal ideation, and emilio is in there because he refused to take his meds and started to spiral really bad , so he voluntarily got put in there because he was scared of hurting his little sister on accident.

Emilio refused to take them because he wanted to feel “normal” and he wanted to prove to himself that he was in control of himself (he was in fact not in control of himself)

Carmelo’s suicidal ideation was because of his self esteem , he felt like everyone he got close to would eventually be hurt my him and he felt horrible about it
