And he’s STILL trying to convince her, despite himself. And Alina’s dropping truth bombs he needs to hear & you can see her ‘we almost could’ve had this’ REALLY hurts him. Hurts both of them (me too, let’s be real).

It’s gonna end in tears, but he’s still weak to her in a way he probably both hates and longs for. How long has it been since his conscience plagued him? Since he had trouble justifying his actions?
