We are deeply saddened to learn that TEDxMidAtlantic speaker Sam Berns passed away Friday night at age 17. Sam had progeria, a rare rapid aging disease that affects approximately one out of four to eight million children.

Día difícil.

Regresaba del trabajo a la casa. Había tenido un día difícil. En la ecovia, no lo veía, pero escuchaba a un niño pequeñito que no paraba de llorar. Un momento después supe que lo habían abandonado. Pasaron algunas paradas con su llanto que alguien de la ecovia entró y se lo llevó. No dejo de pensar el el y su futuro. Desde entonces ya no he tenido días difíciles.
