Sonic is the type of person that I think is more observant about the situation, you won't see him saying "hey are you ok?" But he will act accordingly if he sees something weird. That's my way of seeing it <3

Anointing

OP, what?? Let me explain:

This was partly inspired by another comic, got me thinking of how anointing worked. People kinda do this too, stealing your partners jacket for example.

Anointing is when hedgehogs find a smell they like (in some cases a poison) and proceed to lick it and create a saliva foam before covering their spines in the smell/spit.

Scientists don't really understand it but it may have a role in removing parasites, mating behavior or something to do with predators. Free lore.

Mobian 'hogs do it too, but a little less messy...

A special oil in their quills is released as they rub their spines together and even non-hedgehogs mobians can smell it when up close. It's a way to broadcast their partnership, with some considering it a huge leap in a relationship. Many just kinda do it without thinking, as they cuddle.

What do they smell like? Im not joking:

If sonic smells like citrus and leather (official perfume) and shadow smells like lavender (coffee from oils in the espresso beans he eats), do you think they would smell like Lady Gray tea with a hint of smoke or a dark musk underneath.

I’m sorry but I’m bored in school and just have these ninjago AUs and headcanons I’ve never discussed- so I’m dumping them here.

Okay so y’know Cole’s “ghost scar”? Yeah ever since he got that I’ve had this headcanon as a way to where he can shift from ghost form to physical, mostly because I just thought he could do some really cool crap as a ghost. So my idea is that the ghost scar is kinda a rift between physical form and spirit (ghost) form. From being a ghost so long and the pressure of the portal thing he had to go through to return back to normal, a small rift was formed on his physical body in the form of that scar. Kinda like the rifts between universes you see in things like those old rifts from fortnite in the sky, the little rift between dimensions in Gravity Falls that was accidentally formed *through the pressure of going through a portal*. Just making sure you get it. Anyways everyone knows, if those rifts are even more damaged, stuff goes down. So imagine if everytime Cole’s scar was broken open or something, he was put back into ghost form. But since it’s on his body, his physical body heals even while he’s in ghost form, so it’s only until the skin heals over that he’s in ghost form. And even though you can’t see it now, I still imagine it’s there, it’s just more healed over so it’s not as noticeable until he turns on his lava hand thing, which the light shines through where the scar is because his skin is thinner there (oh yeah I also have a headcanon that Cole has thicker skin than the average person, not by a whole lot but still)

Anyways there’s my Cole ghost headcanon, I know I could’ve made that 10x shorter but oh well. Congrats if you actually read through my BS, hopefully this isn’t already a headcanon and I actually thought of something original for once-

Okay so, I decided I’m going to write this out as a fan season. It’s gonna take a while but my head is overflowing with ideas and I just can’t not. The first episode probably won’t be done for a few weeks but here’s a small snip of a scene just to show you how chaotic this thing’s gonna be:

“Turn it off Jay!!” Kai yelled while keeping his distance like everyone else.

“I CAaAaAaN’T. IT’S OUT OF MY HANDS.” Jay yells while flailing his arms around uncontrollably.

Cole cuffs his hands around his mouth before yelling “Oh but Jay it is your hands.” mockingly with a bit of a smirk.

“No they aren’t! They’re your hands! Take them back!” And with that Jay throws his arms toward Cole, completely catapulting Jay at him. Cole jumps out of the way and Jay’s hands go directly through the wall of a nearby building. Before he could try to remove them, Lloyd rests his still frostbit hands on Jay’s shoulder and arm.

“Maybe just stop for a minute, take a deep breath, and try to turn it off.” Lloyd says calmly with concern in his voice. Jay closes his eyes and over exaggeratingly breaths in, and then slowly breaths out. As he breaths out, the orange glow from his hands begins to fade. The ninja collectively sighed in relief.

Idk if this is already a Ninjago fan season idea or what- but you cannot tell me that a season where all of the Ninja’s elements somehow get mixed up like that Tinker Bell and the pirate fairy movie would not be entertaining. Just like- fricking imagine Kai, who legit can’t swim, trying to work with water. Or Jay trying to work with earth, idk you get the point. And they have to go through the entire season trying to figure out how to use those elements all while trying to defeat a villain. Oh and the arguments that would happen while the original holder of that element is trying to teach the ninja stuck with their element how to use it and it’s just not working out. Oh my word that would be priceless-
