Tsuritama is a story about how putting in the effort it takes to do something is worthwhile and makes you a stronger person in the end. Even if you don't want to, you're nervous, or mess up at the thing at first, especially when it comes to forging relationships, you should still at least try over and over again, because eventually you'll get it right. I love Artiswitch sm ong, It's genuinely my favourite anime and YOURE SO RIGHT THE COSTUMES ARE SO PRETTY. I LOVE THE WAY NINA HAS CUSTOM DESIGNED OUTFITS FOR EACH OF HER CUSTOMERS ITS SO COOL

Nina is genuinely one of- if not my favourite protagonist of all time despite there being only six episodes in the series. There's something about her character that resonates with me so deeply, For such a short series it's so well written. The worldbuilding has SO much lore to be talked about. Like the familiars?! Why do witches exist other than to grant wishes? Do other witches exist? if so where and how?

my favourite line in the series is the last one, which just made me cry- genuinely

"I'm going to comfort the entire world."

Ong I've brainrotted so much about this series that i genuinely have considered just giving in and writing a season 2 genfic. like deadass. i have so much written down for this series i want to write about it so badly. nina my beloved.

Honestly I would KILL for a Season Two despite the fact I know its not gonna happen T-T. I WISH PEOPLE TALKED ABOUT THIS SERIES MORE LIKE OMG.

Tsuritama being basically lost media sucks SO MUCH

It's literally one of my favorite animes of all time. Maybe The favorite anime of all time. And I can't recommend it to people because it's nowhere to be found online.

Crunchyroll lost the license literally in the middle of me watching it (for millionth time) in 2020. I'm lucky I scored a bluray on ebay, and I bought that before I even had a machine that could play blurays.

It's so weird bc tumblr was just celebrating its 10th anniversary 2 years ago. And like 3 years before that I participated in a charity zine with a ton of amazingly talented artists. I don't expect a weird little stand alone anime to stay relevant forever, but now it doesn't even have a chance at gaining new fans.

Anyway I fucking love this show. The second half of it makes me bounce off the walls. If I don't watch it at least once a year (usually in april) I will lose it. I will wither. It's only 12 episodes so I'm able to feel the full spectrum of human emotion in a single sitting if I want to.
