I Feel Like There Is A Section Of The Tottmnt/mm Fandom That May Or May Not Be Confused By Why Another
I feel like there is a section of the Tottmnt/mm fandom that may or may not be confused by why another section(the one that I am in) of it LOVES the idea of having she-shells (aka Venus de Milo, Jennika, Lita May, ect.) in that iteration because of how perfect it will be. So even though no one asked imma explain why I personally think that is.
The entire plot line of the she shells is usually along the lines of girls who lost everything and have no where to go. This is mainly because they are mutants but also because the connections they had before mutant or not had been severed, killed of, or left them in cold blood. And the role of the main four turtles is usually to help them get back on their feet or to add them to their family. Because not only are these characters other turtles which are almost always deemed impossible to exist but they are also left with not much. Unlike the she-shells however the main four have each other creating a sort of “let’s be freaks together” heartwarming story.
In mutant mayhem we see that not only are mutants noticed but also in the beginning discarded and abused by humans. This makes the part of the turtles feeling outcasted even more heartbreaking and important to their story and character. But yet again they have each other. Not only that but also their giant family with their cousins and dad. If humans ever doubted them again they’d have almost a literal mob to help them.
So by adding the she-shells their arc becomes more than just a “let’s be freaks together” narrative but also a “I know how you feel. You are not alone and we will find people who don’t hurt us. Not anymore.”. The main four would not only introduce them to an entire family who has a similar trauma to what they have but also an entire human world to introduce them to now that they are accepted. Like I said on another post the “older” characters would see a reflection of themselves in the newer characters and sort of be the person they didn’t get to have but needed when going through such things.
So there’s what I think the thought process of the general idea is (comment if I’m outrageously wrong or if you had a different idea in your head). Sorry for wasting your time but I have another “small” idea.
yknow this scene in mutant mayhem when April asked Donnie if there are more turtles and he says:
(I know this isn’t the exact frame but I don’t have access right now)
“Nope. Just us.”
I know people probably think this was foreshadowing them finding the other mutants but what if . . .?

TOTTMNT/Tmnt MM Autism and ADHD Headcannons
(just the four main turtles for right now until we get more screen time for other characters)
Leo: Autism
Raph: has a few symptoms but neither
Donnie: Autism
Mikey: ADHD
Leo and Donnie use sign language when they are overwhelmed/ over-stimulated
Raph, Mikey, and Splinter understand sign but don’t use it
Donnie and Leo sign to each other when this happens to one of them or as just a friendly reminder that they’re there for each other
Splinter had to find the right kind of fabric texture for Donnie and Leo as to not make them uncomfortable (thanks @renisrandom for that idea)
Just a random late night post about these goobers and TSL(which needs to be cannon in some version of Tmnt(I do not care which one just give it to me)). Could someone please tell me when and where Rise!Donnie signs cause I have absolutely no idea where to find that clip.

Like we see him in the beginning of the trailer with his brothers(no duh) But then he just disappears while’s his brothers (at least try to) kick that robot’s butt. Not to mention the fact that he’s Donnie and this is an unknown robot trying to do whatever to him and his brothers. What happens to him? Does this imply that he is going to go missing?
