Another Rainy Card, I Guess I'll Send It In The Autumn

I have to say I highly recommend this book, I am totally hooked. Can't put it away, it is just so interesting and gives you the impression that you really were there. Everything is so delicately written. Like Sayuri is sitting face to face with you, telling the story herself. How I love this book!

New diary yesterday, i had a bit of fun on the two first pages. My Brother didn't bother trying to read it at all, he thought it was all just random letters. I think all my future diaries are going to begin like this

The squirrel is back! 

There is this squirrel that has been around lately, cause it eats the food i set out for the birds. Now finally managed to sneak up on it! Capturing the Squirrel in it's act.... of EATING!

i'm a bit worried that it will eat the baby birds though, or the eggs. I just hope it feels content with the seeds.

I will try to sneak in closer to get a better picture in the future!!

What do you do if you’re a harmless, gentle snake and someone scares the pants off you? If you’re an eastern hog-nose (Heterodon platirhinos), you bluff. And when you bluff, you bluff like crazy. You flare your neck like a cobra (spoiler alert: there are no cobras in the Northeast). If that fails, you roll over dramatically and play dead. Multitasking

From maintaining a course-load with multiple subjects to completing various projects and papers all at one, every college student knows that there’s never just one thing to do at a time. If you’re the type of student who works on multiple assignments while simultaneously eating dinner and watching television, you’re not alone. Everybody multitasks, but what most people don’t realize is that, in fact, multitasking doesn’t work. Studies show that only about 2% of people are capable of effectively multitasking, but that doesn’t stop the remaining 98% of people from trying. And with today’s technology, everyone multitasks more than ever—from using smartphones in class to tablets while watching television, there are always multiple things to be doing at one time. While multitasking may make you feel like you’re accomplishing more things in less time, in actuality trying to multitask does more harm than good: It reduces productivity, and even lowers your IQ. Things like texting while studying or watching TV while working on a paper can have a huge effect on your academic success, so next time you’re tempted to multitask while doing schoolwork, remember that if you really want to get something done right, multitasking is probably not your best route.
