Seeing you hate on canon dreamtale is so validating tbh because when I was in fandom (~2016) everyone treated it like it was the greatest thing ever and the writing was perfect (it’s terrible guys be serious), so seeing someone also disliking the canon story feels so validating to my 16 yo self who thought the writing was shit and the creator sucked lmao

the writing was so ass. the concept is completely fine and i ADORE the concept but dreamtale's writing had never been good since day 1. truly one of the worst written things
