Part 1:

Iolite is not golden fruit born. He was a normal student of the Kai academy, taking classes with other students. He’s very good at physical fighting/combat; however, as hard as he practices, he’s not any good at Magic.

Iolite is mute. He does not have many friends, and is sometimes bullied by other students.

In spite of his loneliness and lack of magical skill, he dreams of being Kaioshin some day.

One day, Gowasu, the Kaioshin of Universe 10, came to the academy in search of a new student. As he spoke with the headmaster of the academy, many students surrounded him for the chance to be chosen.

Iolite saw Gowasu from far away and tried to get closer, hoping to meet the legend.

After many failed attempts to get Gowasu’s attention, between nervousness and getting blocked by other students, Iolite walked away, feeling sad and disappointed.

That was when Gowasu noticed the lone kai. Curious, he observed Iolite from a distance. Over the next few days, he saw the student’s solitude, how he didn’t appear to speak with anyone, and how he would be shunned and bullied by others.

He also saw what a hard worker Iolite was. Gowasu saw the passion he put into his training, his studying, and helping teachers and fellow students. Iolite never lost his kind heart, compassion, or strong will in the face of the cruelty he faced from the others.

Part 2:

As Iolite was running an errand one day, he tripped and fell, tumbling down a hill and into a tree. As he rubbed his injured head, he slowly opened his eyes. To find Gowasu smiling at him.

Iolite jumped to his feet and bowed many times. Flustered, he apologized for his foolish clumsiness and covered his face with his hands. “What an embarrassing way to finally meet the Kaioshin of Universe 10 face to face! This is a disaster!” he thought.

And Gowasu laughed, saying that he didn’t know this young, quiet kai had a sense of humor. “You took that roll down the hill quite well!”

Iolite slowly removed his hands from his face to see Gowasu with a warm smile. Iolite smiled back.

Gowasu then told Iolite how he had been watching the lonely student for some time. He was impressed by how Iolite handled the challenges he faced and by how he never lost his strong spirit.

“How would you like to become my student?” asked Gowasu.

Iolite couldn't believe his ears. A big smile spread across his face and his eyes filled with tears of joy. He accepted the Kaioshin’s offer, quietly giggling to himself.

His dream was coming true! He followed his new Teacher to the sacred planet of the Kais!

he's reserved because he's shy and harder to befriend, but he's also more dependent When you get to know him.

I always thought Sakura and Kotaro would end up together with all the fanart of them as a couple but while going through the wikis I've realized that Sakura is literally 17 years old. And Kotaro is in his late 20s...................the show acknowledged the girls still being the age they died at multiple times.................I literally will not be normal if they make a 26/27 year old and a 17 year old dating canon, Mappa don't fucking do this to me.

Khai definitely goes airplane ears mode every now and then...the other kais figured out that it means they probably shouldn't talk to him whenever he does it!

There's still so much I need to figure out with tumblr! I'm slowly learning but I don't understand it all yet :") so sorry if I ever didn't get back to someone or something like that, I swear I'm not ignoring anyone, I'm just too stupid to understand if something was directed at me or not LOL
