Our Country is in worse condition as we speak.we have no president since 2008. Instead our country is run by a corrupt man with no heart. I felt something will happen on the Night of Elections day. The Us People will turn against Donald by killing him as a revenge for the death of their family and love one.I hope that peace will restore and rebuild the country from the corrupt. May you soul stay safe.

Gen Z has a collective hero complex and that’s going result in a massive emotional burnout. Advocating and raising awareness for issues is undoubtedly a good thing, but thinking you are obligated to end or solve every injustice in the world is going devestate your mental health. I don’t want to sound disheartening or pessimistic but signing a few petitions won’t end the humanitarian crisis in Yemen or police brutality. It will of course help reach our goals, but not end it. Thinking the world will change in two month won’t work, this will take generations. Many have felt so burnt out lately and feel guilty about not being able to do more, I admire how empathetic our generation is, but we have to understand that we can’t save everyone. Many others have been in activism and protesting for decade, not just gen z, change takes time. Prioritize advocating and donating in your own communities. Change is slow but it will surely come. Keep your heads up. Think globally, act locally.

Devilman 50th Anniversary

50th years ago Go Nagai creator of Cutie Honey and Mazinger Z create a dark manga called Devilman. A story of a teenage boy being called by his friend Roy Asuka that demon is freeing fro it tomb and ready to declare war on humanity. Seeing this manga felt is going a superhero story. But awaited you in a final chapter led to a dark,tragic,and sad story about Anti-War. Devilman inspired many manga and anime including Berserk,Hell Teacher Nube,And Neon Genesis Evangelion. Devilman is one of the most classic anime and manga series that will continue to this day.

In the word of Go Nagai in his 2002 interview:

I am the author of Devilman yet throughout it's creation, I felt as though I were being pushed by an invisible power. There is no justice in war, any war, nor is there any justification for human beings killing one another. Devilman carries a message of warning, as we step toward a bright future.

Happy 70th Birthday ゴジラ

70 year ago Tomoyuki Tanaka first thought a giant monster rise from the sea when he on a plane after failed to make a war film called shadow of glory with a Indonesian. With the news of Lucky Dragon no.5 exposed by radiation fallout he combined the monster on the loose from The Beast from 20,000 Fathom with the horror of atomic bomb they create a monster that spawned the Kaiju Genre. Thank you Tomoyuki Takana,Ishirō Honda,Eiji Tsuburaya, and Akira Ifukube and the past and future of Godzilla crews for giving us the greatest movie monster of all time.

Not really. Everybody still nice to Jun. She hate her self loathing which is her alter ego Devilman Lady. Kazumi is the only person to help retain Jun’s Humanity. LAN Asuka in this version is a Babylonian God who want to bring a new golden age.

I finished watching devil lady anime

Hot take:

Everybody being mean to Jun, no wholesomeness, Jun constantly suffering, Lan being creepy ass, Akira who's Takeshi now, Kazumi-chan - is all the price, the sacrifice to god we have to pay for something close to devilman universe to have a happy not so bad ending. But the primary theme is still the same: does the end goal justifies the means? Fuck no.
