I present the ending of Invader Zim that Jhonen himself drew years ago. Wherein Zim conquers Earth while Dib’s looking the other way, and proceeds to invite Dib into space with him

Dib abandons Earth with almost no hesitation and goes off to have fun with him

Jhonen’s trolling the newbies to the fandom, we’ve always known Zim and Dib have the potential to be best friends, goodnight
