Get your boarding pass and join me in celebrating the upcoming launch of the SpaceX Crew Dragon - Resilience. Four astronauts are scheduled to ride a SpaceX Falcon 9 to the ISS on Saturday, November 14, 2020. #spacex #nasa #iss #launchamerica #spacestation20th #internationalspacestation #crewdragon #falcon9 https://fb.me/e/1OVkkJk4Q https://www.instagram.com/p/CHRiOwjDBHk/?igshid=1w7e8usp6ffy4
Had the pleasure of meeting and listening to former astronaut Scott Kelly as he related stories of his life and his year on the International Space Station.
Kinda cool when the person running a great big ol’ agency’s FB account decides your picture is worthy of said agency’s ❤️. Thanks @nasa ! #space #launchamerica #crewdragon @spacex #iss @iss @issnationallab https://www.instagram.com/p/CHStHVhDNDR/?igshid=1hpnysb816a4v
Charlie Duke speaking about his moonwalk while standing about 35 feet away from the capsule that got him there and back. This was at the Apollo to Artemis Gala celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 16. #nasa #apollo #artemisgeneration #artemis #solarsystemambassador #moon #space https://www.instagram.com/p/CcwhEPmuiE0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
On this date, in 1968, Apollo 6 launched as an unmanned test flight. The mission was plagued with trouble, including engine problems that caused a severe pogo effect that could have shaken the rocket apart. Overall, the mission was a “successful failure” because it led to important changes in the F-1 engines. Due to the tragic assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, there was almost no press coverage of this launch. The Apollo 6 CM now sits at the Fernbank Science Center (not to be confused with the Fernbank Museum of Natural History) in Atlanta Georgia. #nasa #apollo #space #atlanta #georgia #solarsystemambassador https://www.instagram.com/p/CNQYFrwDI8Q/?igshid=1t7n3j398zbtm

Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn... These are what I consider my best images. I’ve learned so much this past year, but I have a long way to go. I’m really looking forward to getting Mars later this Summer. #celestrontelescope #celestronuniverse #celestron127slt #backyardastronomy #space #venus #jupiter #saturn #planets https://www.instagram.com/p/CBhhlXVHakg/?igshid=1t6l5o4999j6q
I was honored to be selected as a judge for this contest. A young man named Alexander Mather from Virginia chose the name “Perseverance” and wrote the winning essay. Perseverance is scheduled to launch to Mars this July. @nasa @nasajpl #nasa #mars #marsrover #space #perseverance #mars2020 https://www.instagram.com/p/CBS-LPVH6tj/?igshid=1pzag6xydhku4
I host public outreach events about the science and research taking place everyday on the International Space Station. A favorite event of mine is called "Story Time From Space", where astronauts onboard the ISS read children's stories featuring space science and STEM topics. (Opinions are my own.)
