Thirsty Bois

She noticed me sniffing and exposed her soles as if she didn’t notice me, big sister is teasing me.

Feet, mostly soles, make me happy! turned 2 today!

Today and every dawn, I choose peace.

Peace in letting go of what no longer serves me, in embracing what awaits.

Peace in the gentle whispers of morning light, in each quiet breath that renews.

Peace in accepting that some doors must close for others to open.

Peace in knowing that growth comes from releasing, not just holding on.

Peace in understanding that my path is uniquely mine to walk.

Peace in the spaces between what was and what will be.

I carry this wisdom in my soul: I am exactly where I need to be, learning what I need to learn, becoming who I am meant to be.
