Hii. Could You Write A Fic Abt João And The Reader Talking About Babies/the Future And Him Proposing?🩷

it happens on a quiet evening, just the two of you walking along the beach. the sun has long since dipped below the horizon, leaving only the soft glow of the moon and the rhythmic sound of the waves crashing against the shore.

joão’s hand is warm in yours, his thumb tracing slow circles against your skin. it’s a habit of his, one you’ve grown to love, the way he always finds some way to touch you, as if making sure you’re really there.

the night air is cool, salty, but comfortable. the world feels still, like it belongs only to the two of you in this moment.

then, out of nowhere, he says, ‘do you ever think about the future?’

you glance up at him, catching the way his gaze lingers on the ocean, thoughtful. ‘what do you mean?’

he exhales softly, as if choosing his words carefully. ‘just… us. where we’ll be in a few years. what life will look like.’

your steps slow slightly as you take in the question. it’s not that you haven’t thought about it, you have, more times than you can count. you just didn’t know he had too.

‘yeah,’ you admit, squeezing his hand. ‘i think about it sometimes.’

his lips twitch into a small smile, like that was the answer he was hoping for.

you both keep walking, the water lapping at your feet, until he speaks again. ‘do you ever think about kids?’

you freeze for just a second, not because you’re caught off guard, but because the thought of it, the thought of him with a child, of a tiny hand gripping his, of his laugh filling a home that belongs to both of you, is enough to steal your breath.

you look up at him, searching his face for hesitation, but there’s none. just quiet patience, quiet hope.

‘yeah,’ you say softly. ‘i do.’

his smile grows, slow and sure. ‘me too. all the time.’

his voice is steady, sure, but there’s something deeper in it, something tender. ‘i think about how good you’d be with them,’ he continues. ‘how i’d love to see you as a mum.’

your chest tightens at the thought. ‘you’d be a great dad,’ you whisper. ‘they’d be so lucky.’

he stops walking then, turning to face you fully. the waves roll in, barely brushing against your toes, but you barely notice.

‘we’d be lucky,’ he murmurs.

his hand slips from yours, and for a split second, your heart drops.

then, he reaches into his pocket.

your breath catches.

‘joão—’

‘i was gonna wait,’ he says quickly, almost like he’s nervous. ‘i had this whole plan. something big, something special. but… i don’t think i can anymore.’

he exhales, like he’s steadying himself, then pulls out a small velvet box.

the world tilts.

the ring inside is simple but beautiful, exactly what you would’ve wanted. and suddenly, everything clicks, the way he’s been acting lately, the lingering looks, the quiet moments where he seemed lost in thought.

‘i love you,’ he says, his voice steady now. ‘and i don’t want to wait for that future. i want it to start now.’

tears well in your eyes, your chest full, and you nod before you even find your voice.

‘yes,’ you whisper. then, stronger, ‘yes. of course, yes.’

his relief is visible, his whole body relaxing as he slides the ring onto your finger. it fits perfectly.

then he’s kissing you, his hands framing your face, soft and sure.

and for the first time, the future doesn’t feel so far away.

it’s here. it’s real. and it’s yours.

It's been five months since you and Gavi have been in a relationship. Everything seemed perfect at first, his jokes that always made you laugh, the way his eyes sparkled when he looked at you - it was like a dream come true. But now something had changed and you couldn't ignore it.

It all started when Pablo informed you that Laura, his best friend, was coming to visit. You heard a lot about her, how close they were, how she was there for him through everything. And at first you were happy for him. You knew how important she was to him, after all, they had known each other for years. But as soon as she showed up, everything started to go wrong between you and Pablo.

You quickly realized that Laura wasn't just any friend. She was someone Pablo considered more important than everyone, including you.

At first you didn't attach much importance to it. After all, Laura was just a friend and she was there long before you. But as the days passed, you couldn't help but notice a subtle change in Pablo's attention. He spent hours with Laura, talking, laughing, and making plans with her. At first you explained him away, telling yourself it was just a visit, that they hadn't seen each other in a while.

But when you tried to schedule a meeting with Gavi, he canceled at the last minute. "Sorry, I'm meeting Laura today," he said in a warm and apologetic voice.

You were really understanding, she was his best friend after all, but when he started pushing you aside over and over again because of her, it started to bother you.

He answered her calls in the middle of the night, not letting her wait. He wrote long text messages with her while you sat next to him. He went with her to various places, weekend meetings. He bought her little gifts to give her something to remember. She even sat in the front seat while you sat in the back and he pretended like you didn't even exist! Once he found time for you, whenever Laura wrote or called, he had to answer her immediately.

You were invisible.

It was exhausting you mentally.

You started comparing yourself to her. What does she have that you don't have? Maybe you're not enough or he just pretend? Maybe Pablo actually has feelings for her and not for you, but he is with you to pretend to be in front of her?

Such thoughts were killing you from the inside and you couldn't get rid of them. Many times you lay awake at night, unable to stop thinking. You shed tears over this boy, unable to find a reasonable explanation as to why he did this. It was so good between you two.

Still, Gavi would text you late at night, apologizing for not being able to see you, telling you how much he missed you, but whenever you saw him, his attention was always on her. It hurt more than you wanted to admit.

Once, Pablo even invited you to his place, but as soon as you entered, you saw Laura lounging on the couch. They both seemed deep in conversation, laughing as if they hadn't seen each other in years instead of just a few hours. You smiled weakly, but the smile quickly faded because Pablo didn't even look your way, didn't even acknowledge your presence, he was too busy giving her his full attention, and you couldn't shake the feeling that you were the third wheel of the cart in your own relationship.

You decided to leave them alone, slipping away unnoticed. Part of you wanted to stay, but the other part of you just couldn't bear to see Gavi ignore you again.

A few minutes later you found yourself back in your bed, trying to hold back the tears. Your lonely moment was interrupted by the sound of the phone.

pablito: amor, where are you? why didn't you come? :(

You stared at the phone screen in disbelief. If only he knew...

you: I don't feel well, I won't come.

You lied, although not completely, because you felt mentally at the end of your rope.

pablito: come to you to take care of you?;(

You sighed, groaning in frustration. Somewhere out there was your boyfriend, who was having a momentary blind spot, and you didn't know what to do about it.

you: no need, I'll just go to sleep :)

pablito: goodnight, princesa!! <3 may you feel better afterwards :D

You frowned. He gave up too quickly, he hadn't done that before, being the most stubborn man you've ever met. You turned off your phone and actually went to sleep, at least for a moment to turn off your brain that was making it difficult for you to fall asleep.

Gavi made time for you two days later, so you decided to confront him without beating around the bush.

"Pablo?" you asked and he just hummed to let you know he was listening to you while he continued to look at his phone, which annoyed you. "Is everything okay between us?" you finally asked the question that was bothering you.

He looked from his phone to you, frowning in confusion.

"Yes, why wouldn't things be okay between us?" he combed his hair, looking at you questioningly.

Was he serious? You sighed softly, blinking rapidly. Did you wonder if he really didn't see how much he hurt you over the last few days?

"It's just... You spend so much time with Laura that I feel like you've forgotten about me" you confessed what was on your heart.

You heard a snort.

“You're being dramatic” he blurted out, and your heart lurched.

"Am I being dramatic?" you asked in disbelief, you didn't recognize who your boyfriend was.

"Yeah, Laura's just my friend" he shrugged, still scrolling through his phone.

"A friend I shouldn't worry about?" you narrowed your eyes at him and he shot you a glare. "Am I your girlfriend or is she?" you added furiously.

"Can you stop making things up?" he snorted, and your heated exchange was interrupted by the ringing of his phone. “It's Laura, I have to answer” he said and then he left the room and you sat there in disbelief.

“You're fucking ridiculous, Gavira” you whispered to yourself, standing abruptly from the table.

You decided that you wouldn't spend the evening with your boyfriend because of his friend, so you furiously took your things and left his house without saying a word.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Three days had passed since the situation at Gavi's house, and you couldn't count how many tears you had shed because of your boyfriend. You were lucky that you lived alone and no one stood over you and asked you "what happened" questions.

You didn't know what was happening. Gavi cut back on texting you, not even bothering to text you after you left, just accepting the fact that you left his house without saying a word.

You felt very lonely when you were in a relationship. It shouldn't have been like this.

You still cared about him very much, he was your boyfriend. You loved him with all your heart. You understood that he was close to his friend, but this had gone too far. You felt like the second option, you always felt like that. You were never anyone's first choice and you should be used to it, but when you met Pablo you hoped that would change.

Oh, how wrong you were.

Your thoughts tormented you even more than before, you fell into a trance. You felt like crying all the time and you even wondered if Gavi had ever really loved you and if breaking up with him wouldn't be a better solution.

When you were lying in bed that evening, crying your eyes out again and wondering what was wrong with you, Pablo texted you, asking if you would come over to his place because he was bored.

Your blood boiled after reading this news. He only remembers me when he's bored?! you thought.

You quickly got ready before leaving and went to his house to make things clear. You were fed up with his behavior.

“Gavi, we need to talk” you said as soon as you entered. Anger was written all over your face.

He frowned at your furious tone.

"Sure, what do you want to talk about, honey? And I told you not to call me Gavi" he said, inviting you to join him on the couch.

You took a deep breath and then, glaring at him, said. “I think we should break up” you confessed, your voice breaking mid-sentence. Those words hurted more than you thought.

Pablo opened his eyes wide, looking at you with concern.

"Amor, why do you think that?" he asked, reaching out to grab yours, but you pulled away with tears in your eyes.

"Do you even love me, Pablo?" you asked, brushing off his question, and Gavi became more and more confused.

"Of course I love you, mi princesa. I love you with all my heart!" he said, feeling his chest sink from your words. "What do you mean you want to break up?" he asked with tears in his eyes.

"You better think about who your girlfriend really is, you know?" you said. "For the past two weeks, you've been pushing me away for Laura. You've made me feel alone in the relationship, like I'm the third wheel of the cart around you" you continued.

“I just feel like I'm losing you, Pablo” your voice was barely above a whisper, your heart was slowly falling apart. “I feel invisible… like I mean nothing to you anymore” a lone tear fell from your eye.

There was a moment of silence and Gavi's face fell, the tension between you could be felt from a mile away.

"I've been feeling like a shadow in my own relationship for two weeks now. You're so wrapped up in Laura... spending all your time with her, leaving me... well, completely alone" you confessed.

Gavi opens his mouth to say something, but you interrupt him, your voice full of emotion.

"I don't know when it happened, but I feel like one day I woke up and realized that you weren't the same anymore. You stopped giving me time. I was sitting in the backseat of the car, barely being a part of your life, while you laughed and joked with Laura as if I wasn't even there. I was always in the background" you continued your monologue.

Your throat tightens, your voice cracking as you try to swallow the huge lump in your throat. Gavi's face falls as he listens to your words, his eyes pained and regretful.

"I-I tried to understand, I really tried to convince myself that I was being irrational... but every time you left me for her, every time you made me feel like a third wheel of the cart, it was too much. S-so I started asking myself if d-do you love me at all and shouldn't you be with Laura and not with m-me?" you sobbed, you felt yourself falling apart and tears rolled down your cheeks.

Gavi's expression falters, he looks down, guilt streaming down his face, he felt like his heart was falling to pieces. He shook his head, his voice low and apologetic.

"I never intended to make you feel this way, I never intended to hurt you. I just... I guess I let myself get lost" he admitted.

"Lost? With Laura? Are you kidding me?" you huff, laughing, but it's empty, the hint of joy that was once in your voice gone. "She's your best friend, I know. But I'm your girlfriend, Gavi! We're supposed to be a team, not something that's an accessor!" you narrowed your eyes at him, nervous.

Gavi clenched his hands into fists, his knuckles white. He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes for a moment, clearly struggling with his emotions.

"You're right... I was distant. But it's not about Laura, it's about me" he started and you looked at him curiously.

"I pushed you away because I didn't know how to reconcile you and her without anyone getting hurt, which I clearly failed at, I did it in the worst way" his voice was full of guilt. "I didn't want to admit it, but I was afraid. I was afraid of losing my friendship with Laura, but I was more afraid of losing you" he confessed.

You frowned, shaking your head, feeling a mix of frustration and confusion.

"Then why didn't you talk to me? Why did you let me feel like I was bothering you?" you huffed.

Gavi's eyes soften as he looks at you, the guilt in his gaze now so deep it almost chokes you. He moves closer to you, reaching for your hand again. You hesitate before letting him grab it.

"I was an idiot and I was selfish. I thought I could balance everything and I messed up terribly. I didn't realize I was making you feel small, like you didn't matter to me. It was the last thing I ever wanted. I'm really sorry, amor" he rubbed your knuckle gently, looking at you with teary eyes.

Your heart aches as you look at his face, which is a mixture of pain and regret. You sit in complete silence for a moment, the sound of your heavy breathing filling the void between you.

"That's why I don't know if I can keep doing this, Pablo. If I'm only going to be the second choice... I can't keep pretending that everything is fine when I feel so alone" you decide to break the silence, your voice much quieter than before.

Gavi's breath caught and his hand moved to your cheek, wiping away your tears, stroking it gently, looking at you with pleading eyes filled with fear.

"Please don't say that" he swallowed the large lump in his throat that continued to grow. "Please don't think that you are more important than her or anyone. You are everything to me. You always meant everything to me. I just... I got scared, I was lost and I didn't know how to fix it later, how to show you how much I care about you" he said in a desperate voice, tears also streaming down his cheeks.

Tears come to your eyes again and you blink rapidly to clear them away, your heart pounding in your chest like it's about to burst. You stare at your boyfriend's face with teary eyes, searching for the truth in his words. You've heard promises before in your life, but this feels different. He looks at you with such raw honesty that it almost breaks you.

"I would love to believe you, Pablo. But I need you to show it to me. I need you to make me feel like I'm not invisible to you" you looked down at the ground.

Gavi nodded, taking your every word to heart. His voice is thick with emotion, raw with the weight of his mistake.

"I'll show you, I swear. I'll prove to you every day that you're not invisible. That you're everything to me. You're my priority, amor" he whispered, caressing your cheek.

“Then show it to me” you looked at him again.

A long silence stretches between you. You slowly release a shaky breath, and for the first time in two weeks you feel a glimmer of hope. Maybe this was the beginning of something better, maybe all was not lost yet.

You looked at him in silence, still holding his hand, and for the first time in a long time you allowed yourself to believe that maybe, just maybe, you could get through this.

“I really have hope in you, Pablo” your voice continued to crack, you were a bundle of emotions.

Gavi smiled at you, his smile soft and relieved, his eyes glazed over with tears. For a moment you felt as if the world had stopped.

The silence between you was filled with a new kind of warmth, and a connection has formed between you. You finally feel the tension between you dissipate and the weight that has been resting in your chest for so long, dissapear. Gavi's hand tightens around yours, his thumb brushing against your skin in a way that feels like a promise.

Gavi looked at you with eyes full of determination to fight for you, the deep sincerity in them a silent reassurance. He leans closer, his voice soft but firm.

"I know I fucked up and I can't take back the past, but I'm going to fix it. I'll fight for us, baby. I want to show you every day how much you mean to me. You deserve it. I want you, not just now. I want you forever" he confessed.

You feel your heart flutter in your chest, your doubts slowly dissipating with each word he speaks. His eyes search yours as if trying to read your soul, and for the first time in so long, you could see in them the deep love he had for you that you had doubted. It's not just about what he says, but what he feels and what he shows, you finally felt it.

"Are you serious?" you asked uncertainly.

“I mean every word I say” he said firmly, looking into your beautiful eyes.

You sighed, your lips curving into a small but tender smile. It was the kind of smile that hadn't been on your face in a long time, one that seemed natural, carefree.

You leaned towards him, your voice barely above a whisper.

"Okay, Gavira... but you have to promise me something" you blurted out.

Gavi's eyes widen slightly, a mischievous glint appearing in them, and his usual mischievous smile returns to his face, feeling hope rising within him.

“Whatever you say, I will do everything” he confessed, pulling your hands to his rapidly beating heart.

"No more ignoring me for Laura. No more leaving me in the backseat. If I'm your girlfriend, I want to feel like your girlfriend, not her!" you said sternly, frowning slightly.

Gavi's face lights up with a gentle laugh and his hand gently cups your face, wiping the remnants of tears from your heated cheeks.

"Deal. I'll make sure you always sit in the front seat. You're the one I want to have with me, always" he kissed your nose lightly, a little hesitantly, but you could feel some kind of reassurance in it.

Your heart sped up as you felt the sincerity radiating from his words, the weight of his promise wrapping around you like a warm blanket. You sit across from each other on the couch in his living room for a while longer, just enjoying the peaceful silence, the tension completely gone.

Then Gavi, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, suddenly leans down and plants a quick kiss on your forehead, making you laugh a little.

"I'm going to spoil you a lot from now on, okay? You're not going to run away from dates and flowers and all the cheesy things that I know you secretly love" he said, pulling you closer to him, and you didn't resist this time.

You were happy to have your boyfriend back.

At least you hoped so.

You just giggle and playfully roll your eyes.

"It's so cheesy, isn't it?" you laughed lightly.

"Okay, okay... maybe not cheesy, but I'm definitely going to pay you a lot more attention. I owe you that and more" he looked at you with the look of a kicked puppy.

Your confession really hit him hard. It was never his plan to make you feel this way. He always wanted to protect you from things like this, but he ended up being the one who hurt you. It wasn't supposed to be this way.

You smile, feeling warmth spread across your chest. It was the feeling of being loved, truly seen, that you missed so much. You finally feel like your Gavi is back, the one who makes you laugh out loud, the one who knows you better than anyone else.

"Fine, I'll take it... just don't make it too cheesy, okay?" you asked.

"Oh, you'll survive, honey" he chuckled, kissing you briefly on the temple.

You both laugh quietly, that kind of easy, natural laugh that fills the air with lightness. The awkwardness was long gone, replaced by a feeling of comfort and confidence. Gavi wraps his arms around you, pulling you even closer to him. You look at each other with touched eyes, wanting to convey to each other in a non-verbal way what strong feelings you have for each other.

"You know, I was really afraid of losing you. I thought maybe I was just not enough for you" you added.

Gavi's smile softens, his fingers gently tracing circles on your arm.

"You're more than enough, amor. You're everything I ever wanted and needed. I'm so sorry for making you feel different" he rested his forehead against yours, the guilt still lingering within him.

You look into his eyes, your heart filling with love. You lean into him even more, closing your eyes as you take a deep breath, trying to calm the frantic beating of your heart. The world seems perfect right now, as if all the confusion and loneliness were just temporary clouds passing through your relationship.

“Thank you, Pablo” you whispered, opening your eyes to look into his large brown ones, which were looking at you with great tenderness.

"You don't have to thank me. Just let me make it up to you every day. I won't ever again and I don't want to disrespect you" he squeezed your hands tightly, signaling that he was here.

You sit there for a while, your hands intertwined, your hearts synchronized in a rhythm of love and understanding. For the first time in ages, you feel completely at peace.

"Are you sure you're not going to push me away again?" you ask to make sure.

Gavi's answer is simple and obvious, but it's the most important thing he's ever said.

"I promise. I choose you" he confessed, his voice radiating sincerity. "I love you so much, mi vida" he whisper.

"I love you too, Pablito" you smiled at him and he kissed your nose again.

The storm inside your head has calmed down and the world outside has faded away. All that mattered right now was you – together, strong and ready for whatever came next.

Pablo cupped your cheek after a moment, connecting your lips in a kiss that was like a promise. It was filled with every emotion you felt today, from longing, to regret and guilt, to the love that filled you.

When you pulled away, you hugged him tightly, sighing loudly. For the first time in two weeks, you smile fully against his chest, feeling his arms hug your figure tightly and his lips kiss the top of your head. Your heart finally feels lighter. You knew things would get better from now on. You trusted Gavi and knew he would do anything to fix the situation between you.

The next days were decisive. Pablo made sure that his words would be proven by his actions. He canceled all plans with Laura to spend time with you, checked on you when you needed him, and always made sure you knew how important you were to him.

He planned special dates, stayed up late talking to you, wanted to make sure you felt secure in your relationship again.

And slowly everything started to heal. As doubts crept into your mind again, you didn't have to wait long for reassurance. He was always there for you, showing you every day that his heart belonged to you. And for the first time in days, you felt calm.

One evening, as you sat together on the couch, with his arm around you, he turned to you with a soft smile.

"I'm sorry again, amor, that it took me so long to see how much I hurt you. I didn't deserve you, but know that from now on, I'm always on your side. You're everything to me" he confessed, looking at you tenderly.

And this time you didn't need any more words. You kissed him, feeling the weight of all your worries lift as you finally knew that Pablo had chosen you.

The shadow of doubt that had been hanging over you finally disappeared, replaced by the security of knowing that Pablo was truly there for you, every step of the way.

He made sure every day that he showed you that you were the most important thing to him. His actions spoke louder than any apology and you knew that even though he had made a mistake, he was committed to making things right.

No more guesswork, no more heartache. Just you two, together, stronger than ever.

Hola Chica 🤗

the sun had dipped low, spilling warm light through the trees as you and pablo wandered through the park hand in hand. his fingers were laced with yours, his thumb brushing soft circles against your skin—something he did when he felt peaceful. or when he didn’t want to let go.

you leaned into his side, feeling his warmth. “you’re quiet today.”

he gave you a tiny smile. “just happy, mi amor.”

“soft pablo is my favorite.”

“shh,” he whispered, grinning. “don’t ruin my reputation.”

you bumped his shoulder. “too late. you’re mine now.”

“always,” he said quietly, like a promise.

then a sound—soft and broken—cut through the stillness. a whimper.

you both stopped.

“did you hear that?” you asked, heart already tugging.

“yeah,” pablo said, alert now, scanning the path. “over there.”

you followed the noise together, and that’s when you saw him—curled under a bush, tiny and shaking. the little puppy looked terrified, his paw curled under him awkwardly.

“oh, pobrecito,” you breathed, already crouching.

pablo dropped beside you, voice gentle. “hey, chiquitín… it’s okay.”

he reached out slowly, scooping the puppy into his hoodie-covered arms. the little one whimpered, then buried himself into pablo’s chest like it was the safest place in the world.

“he trusts you,” you whispered, brushing dirt from the puppy’s fur.

pablo looked at the pup, then at you. “he’s ours now, right?”

“obviously.”

at the vet, the minutes ticked by slowly as you sat beside pablo, waiting for an update. he hadn’t stopped tapping his foot, his hand gripping yours tightly the whole time.

you leaned your head on his shoulder. “he’s gonna be okay.”

pablo nodded, jaw tight. “he has to be.”

when the vet finally came out and said it was just a sprain and some dehydration, he let out the softest breath of relief.

you looked up at him. “can we keep him?”

pablo hesitated, then smiled—small, but real. “yeah. we’ll take care of him.”

back at your apartment, the puppy was asleep in the corner, curled up on one of pablo’s hoodies. he looked clean, warm, and finally safe.

you sat nearby on the floor, petting him gently, while pablo sprawled on the couch, watching you with that quiet gaze he saved only for you.

“he needs a name,” you said softly.

“i’ve got the perfect one,” pablo said instantly. “messi.”

you turned to stare at him. “you’re joking.”

“i’m serious,” he grinned. “it’s a power move.”

“he drools when he sleeps.”

“okay, then… iniesta.”

you groaned. “amor.”

“what? it’s classy.”

you laughed and looked back at the puppy. “he looks like a milo.”

pablo made a face. “milo?”

“yeah. sweet. soft. adorable.”

he sighed. “fine. but i still think messi would’ve been iconic.”

you smiled, turning back to look at him. “you’re such a football nerd.”

“you love it.”

you didn’t answer—you just crawled off the floor and into his lap, settling there like you belonged (because you did). pablo instantly wrapped his arms around you, like he couldn’t help it, burying his face in your neck.

“you’re my favorite thing,” he murmured against your skin.

you pulled back just enough to kiss him—soft and slow. his hands stayed firm around your waist, like if he let go, the world might shift.

“i love you, mi vida,” you whispered.

he nodded, lips brushing your jaw. “i love you more.”

you stayed there in his lap, tangled together, until milo let out a tiny snore.

you glanced over. “he’s so cute.”

pablo groaned. “yeah. whatever.”

“you’re jealous again.”

“he’s literally snoring in my hoodie,” he muttered. “he’s trying to replace me.”

you grinned. “he’s a baby.”

“i’m your baby.”

“you’re both my babies,” you teased.

pablo narrowed his eyes. “he better not try to sleep between us.”

“you’d push him off the bed, wouldn’t you?”

“absolutely.”

you giggled, pressing another kiss to his cheek. “possessive much?”

he hugged you tighter. “only with you, mi amor.”

you looked over at the sleeping pup, then back at pablo, and your heart felt impossibly full.

your clingy boy and your sleepy puppy.

your perfect little chaos.

writers note: i love this idea and don’t ‘4th times the charm’ me mate your last 3 requests were diabolical?? who would read culpa mia but w gavi and snow white but gavis the princess?? 😭😭 also did someone say overwriting 😱

word count: 2k

The overwhelming roar of the crowd in Casablanca’s Mohammed V Stadium was quite deafening, but that made gavis pulse raise even more. His heart raced not because of nerves, but for the fact that he wants to prove himself. Back in the world cup 2022 he scored a goal against costa rica that showed that he wasn’t just another kid from la masia, he was truly a star. However, a few matches later his first world cup dream came to a crash. Round of 16 vs morocco.

As the anthems faded to an end and the refs whistle blew, he jogged into place and let the game get into its usual rhythm, clear chances, passes, tackles and fouls. And there it was. a goal! Perfect goal may i add by lamine yamal. The stadium erupted into cheers as gavi made his way to the corner flag to celebrate with his teammate, not only internationally but from his club that’s always been by his side.

However, this wasn’t just a normal celebration, something pulled his gaze upwards, and that’s when he saw it, her. Throughout the wave of opposing fans, one face stood out to him, a gorgeous girl, hands gripping the railing with her jaw dropped. It was obvious she wasn’t cheering for spain though, her kit and flag proved that inference. Yet her gaze found his, holding it for longer than it should’ve.

Eventually, half time pulled around as gavi made his way to the locker room. But that didn’t stop him from looking for her though. She hadn’t moved from that spot, instead she was stood up, laughing with her friends leaning against that very same railing, but her focus wasn’t on her friends. Her gaze was on the pitch, as if she was looking for something, making gavi wonder if it’s him that she’s looking for.

Pedri, who was standing right next to him, nudged him and said, ‘Focus hermano, she’s way out of your league.’, in a teasing tone, making gavi smirk but no response came out of him. He knew this wasn’t the last time their paths would cross.

The final whistle blew, the score ending in a 2-1 narrow victory to Spain, with players exchanging handshakes and shirts. Even though they had a successful match, that didn’t shift his mind from the mystery girl, his eyes shifting to her every couple of minutes.

After plucking up the courage to approach her, he noticed her still laughing with her friends, her smile lighting him up.

Without giving it a second thought, he jumped over the barrier, passing security and approached her. Some may call him cocky for the confidence but she noticed and found it amusing that he tried to get her attention. Although security refused to let him get any closer, he ushered her to come closer, and she complied, with her friends teasing her.

‘Hola, did you enjoy the match?’, he asked in almost a whisper to avoid attention from others.

She tilted her head, and her lips formed into a smile, laughing to herself and replied with, ‘Even though Spain won? I guess so’ she said in a playful tone, with her soft accent coming out.

They exchanged names however it caught Gavi off guard.

‘Wait you don’t know my name?’ asked Gavi in an almost concerned tone.

‘No, I know your name.. I just wanted to hear you say it.’ she said, her soft smile widening.

‘Gavi’ he said, chuckling, in a quiet voice.

Her friends called her from behind and she glanced back, reluctant to leave. ‘Looks like I have to go..’ she said.

‘Wait.’ Gavi said quickly, removing his shirt, and handed it to her, the faint smell of grass clinging to it. ‘Something to remember this match by.’

She took the shirt, her fingers brushing his for a small second, ‘Gracias, Gavira.’ she said, making his heart race.

There was one thing he knew for certain, he had to see her again.

The next few days in Casablanca was an absolute blur for him, media videos, training sessions and team meeting, but she couldn’t get out of his mind. Her smile, her laugh and how her gaze lasted for longer than even she wanted it to.

That’s when he realised, it wasn’t the match, it was her.

After hours of practice, the team had some downtime before their flight back to Madrid. Gavi found himself roaming the streets with Pedri, just so he didn’t seem like a loner.

‘So you’re really attached to this girl, hermano?’, asked Pedri almost with genuine concern.

Gavi sighed and yet again, didn’t have a reply for that and continued walking.

That’s when he saw her, for the second time, except she was alone in a small cafe.

He hesitated for a moment, Pedri staying outside, as Gavi made his way over.

‘Mind if i join?’ he asked, grabbing a chair from a nearby table.

She looked up, surprised as a smile was spread across her face. ‘Gavi’ she said ‘How come you’re not with your team?’

‘I mean, I was..’ he said, taking a seat opposite her. ‘But I figured i’d explore some more. Seems like I found the right place’

She raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. ‘So you spend your free time chasing random girls that you see during matches?’

He smirked, leaning back into the chair, ‘Only the interesting ones.’

She laughed softly, her fingers absentmindedly tracing the edges of her teacup. ‘Not sure if that’s flattering or too forward’

Gavi’s smile softened, ‘A bit of both, cariño.’

‘Well i’ve seen you play, you’re good. But i’m sure you know that by now.’

He chuckled, ‘I don’t need compliments, but i’ll take them’

She smiled again, ‘So what’s a footballer like you doing in this small cafe in Casablanca?’

He looked out the window for a second, and then back at her, ‘I guess i’m looking for things that matter besides football’

Her gaze softened, ‘And have you found that yet?’

‘I’m getting closer.’ he paused, ‘Listen, I don’t know how long i’m gonna be here, but I want to see you again’

Unsure of how to really respond to that, she said ‘Maybe. If you’re lucky.’ in a mysterious tone.

And that’s when he knew he wouldn’t be leaving this city any time soon.

Due to the weather in Spain, their trip extended a few more days, but she didn’t need to know that.

On the last night of their stay, Gavi slipped away from the hotel and didn’t tell anyone, not even Pedri that he was going back to that very same cafe.

The night air was cooler than he expected but the night life still stayed active.

It wasn’t that long until he saw the cafe again, although it was late, it was still open and a few people were still in there.

He hesitated for a moment before entering again and the owner looked up at him and said,

‘Gavi, right? You’re here for someone I figured, and if so you’re in the right place, habibi.’

Gavi, uncertain by her words, followed her over to the table, where he saw here for the third time.

He sat opposite her, letting his eyes linger on her for a second before she broke the silence.

‘Gavi, I thought you wouldn’t turn up.’, she said, following with the familiar smile that Gavi loved.

‘I couldn’t stay away.’ he replied

And to that she chuckled and said, ‘You’re a lot more complicated than i thought Pablo.’

He grinned, trying to hide his emotions, leaning back into his chair, ‘I’ve been told.’

She stood up and said, ‘Listen Gavi, it’s getting late, I need to get going, and you should too.’

‘Wait,’ Gavi said ‘Can you please see me play again.’, he asked in an almost pleading tone.

She looked back, with an unreadable expression and said, ‘And you think i’ll say yes?’

‘I was hoping that you’ll surprise me.’

‘Maybe.’

And with that, she left.

A few weeks passed by, and the memory of you lingered in his brain. He hadn’t seen her since that night in the cafe, but your time together was the only thing on his mind.

Now he was in the Montjuïc, at a home game for laliga, as the stadium was packed with culers from all over the world as usual. But this match felt different.

As the game kicked off, Gavi instantly fell into the usual match rhythm yet his thought remained on her.

There was a small pause in play, as he re adjusted his socks, someone caught his eye. It was her.

There she was, in the VIP section, her barca scarf tucked around her shoulders.

He froze for a second, his heart hammering in his chest. She was no longer a memory, she was there in real time. Eventually, he snapped back into focus.

The scoreline was 1-1 and he knew that he needed to be the change that he wanted to see, so he took a risk and shot it in the direction of the net, bracing himself for the result. And there it was, a goal to put barca in the lead.

Pablo sprinted to the corner to celebrate and he looked up to see her in the stands with her hands over her mouth in shock. Then she smiled, her face full of pride. He noticed that, and made a small gesture, pointing towards her.

After the match was over, he saw her waiting with security by the players exit.

‘You made that goal look easy’ she said, her voice with a teasing tilt.

Before he could answer that, he had a question in his head.

‘You came all this way, why?’ He said, his eyes searching for hers.

‘I wanted to see if you’d keep your promise’

‘And did I?’

‘Yes.’ she replied with a subtle smile.

It had gotten to the point where they finally exchanged numbers, making his heart flutter.

The next laliga match was against sociedad which was quite a big match if you think about it. He had just completed his pre game superstitions until he received a message

‘i heard you’re not as bad as they say, wanna prove it? 😉’

He grinned, feeling a rush of excitement.

‘i thought i already did that’ he typed back.

‘okay, meet me at the cafe tomorrow.’

He arrived at the cafe as soon as the match was over and he was lost in thought. What were they? He knew they weren’t a fling but he didn’t know what to label it.

‘You’re early’ she said as she walked in.

‘Came as soon as the match ended’ he replied.

‘Okay Pablo, i’m gonna start off with why i asked you to come here. You’re the first guy who’s come into my life with a smile and a promise. But i’m not interested in that.’ she started.

He leaned in, ‘What’re you interested in then.’

‘Something real.’

‘So am I, and i’m not going anywhere.’

‘So prove it.’

And with those three words, the barrier between them was broken.

They went for a walk on the quiet streets of Barcelona, the night air brushing their faces. Neither of them spoke but the silence was enough for the both of them.

He turned to face her, ‘Listen. I don’t want you to go, just stay.’

She looked back at him and said, ‘Gavi.’

He didn’t let her continue because he felt like he already knew the answer to that and closed the gap between them.

Eventually, she found her way into extending her stay and renting an apartment in Barcelona to stay wiyh Gavi

Months past until they decided to make it official to the public, they both figured it out, the fame and distance.

One evening, they both sat on the balcony until he turned to face her.

‘So this is what i’ve been looking for. I’ve finally found what matters besides football.’ Gavi said.

She smiled back at him, realising that this is all she wanted too.

a/n: girl ilysm, i hope you like this 💗💗

the evening had settled in, the soft glow of the bathroom light casting a peaceful aura around the space. you had just come back from a long day, and as always, you decided to unwind with your skincare routine. you hummed quietly to yourself as you gathered the bottles and jars, carefully placing them on the counter.

your face mask was next, and you were enjoying the simple ritual of it all—there was something incredibly soothing about taking this time for yourself, even if the world outside was chaotic. you’d been doing it for weeks now, and it had become a part of your nightly routine.

just as you were about to smooth the thick, creamy mask onto your face, you heard the familiar sound of footsteps behind you. you turned slightly, noticing joão standing in the doorway, his usual charming grin on his face as he crossed his arms and leaned against the frame.

“what’s all this?” joão asked, eyeing the assortment of skincare products on the counter. “you really going all in tonight?”

you chuckled softly, looking at him in the mirror. “yeah, just my nightly self-care. it helps me relax. you should try it sometime,” you said with a playful glint in your eye, not expecting him to take you seriously.

he raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by the suggestion. “me? try skincare? you’ve got to be kidding.”

you shot him a teasing glance. “why not? it’s good for your skin. plus, it might make you feel a little less like a footballer and a little more like… well, a human.”

joão laughed, a deep, hearty sound that made you smile. “i’m not sure i need it. but… alright, show me what you’re doing. maybe i’ll give it a go.”

you turned to face him with a raised eyebrow. “are you serious?”

he shrugged dramatically. “you know, maybe this will be my secret weapon. could be the next big thing—joão félix, skincare icon.”

you couldn’t help but laugh at his antics. “okay, okay. i’ll guide you. but you have to follow my steps, no shortcuts. trust me, your skin will thank you.”

he crossed the room and stood next to you, looking at the bottles lined up on the counter. “alright, so what’s first? do i just… rub my face with this?” he asked, pointing at the cleanser.

you laughed at his curiosity. “not quite. first, you have to splash your face with water to get it a little damp. then, you’ll take a bit of this cleanser and—”

he was already splashing water all over his face before you could finish your sentence, completely drenched. you blinked at him, wide-eyed.

“well,” you said, trying to suppress your giggles, “that’s one way to do it. now, just a little cleanser. not too much!”

he squirted a generous amount into his hand, and without thinking, he rubbed it into his face with the intensity of someone tackling a new opponent. you stood back, laughing at how serious he was taking it.

“joão, you look like you’re preparing for a match,” you teased, wiping away a stray drop of water from your cheek.

he paused for a moment, glancing at you through the mirror with a smirk. “maybe i am. can’t go into this skincare game half-hearted.”

you rolled your eyes, trying to suppress a grin. “alright, rinse it off now, mister skincare expert.”

as he rinsed his face, he looked at you, his expression a mixture of confusion and curiosity. “i don’t know about this… i feel like i just dunked my head in a bowl of soup.”

“that’s what you get for rushing,” you said, wiping off a small splatter of water on your arm. “take your time, joão. skincare isn’t a race.”

“well, i’d win that race, hands down,” he quipped, a playful glint in his eyes.

you handed him a bottle of toner and explained, “now, you need this to balance your skin. dab it on with a cotton pad, don’t wipe it.”

he stared at the cotton pad in his hand like it was some kind of foreign object. “this looks… too delicate. do you really think i can pull this off?”

you laughed softly, watching him concentrate so hard on doing it right. “of course you can. just be gentle, like you’re petting a cat.”

he looked at you like you were speaking another language. “petting a cat? what does that even mean?”

“just—never mind,” you giggled. “just dab it on your face.”

finally, after what felt like an eternity, joão managed to do the toner step, looking quite proud of himself. “alright, what’s next? i think i’m getting the hang of this.”

“next up is moisturizer. it’s the most important part. you’ve got to lock in all that hydration.”

he scooped out a hefty dollop of cream, and without hesitation, started slathering it all over his face, making exaggerated motions with his hands. you couldn’t help but laugh at how much he was using.

“joão! that’s way too much! you only need a little.”

he looked at you, his face now a greasy mess of product, and smirked. “i’m making sure i get every spot. you never know where dryness might sneak up.”

you shook your head fondly, trying not to burst out laughing. “okay, but now you’re going to look like you’re about to slide off the couch. less is more, joão.”

he pouted dramatically and looked at his reflection in the mirror. “i’m pretty sure i’m glowing, right?”

you walked up behind him, looking at his face, which now had a shiny, almost comical layer of moisturizer. “you’re glowing, alright,” you teased, “but i think you might need to tone it down for tomorrow’s match.”

he laughed, turning to face you with that mischievous grin of his. “i’m doing this every night from now on. you’ve unlocked a new side of me.”

you shook your head, still laughing. “well, i hope you don’t expect me to apply it for you every night. skincare is a solo mission, my friend.”

joão leaned in, a little too close for comfort, still grinning like he had won something. “how about a weekly skincare date, then? you and me, making each other glow?”

you smiled, shaking your head fondly. “you’re ridiculous, but fine. only if you promise not to use the entire jar of moisturizer next time.”

“i can’t make that promise,” he said, his tone teasing, “but i’ll try my best.”

as he turned to leave, you caught a glimpse of his face—his skin actually looked better, less tired, and definitely more radiant. maybe joão félix, skincare icon, was a title that fit him better than you thought.

“good night, skincare guru,” you called after him.

“good night, my skincare coach,” he shot back, with a wink. “same time tomorrow?”

you laughed, shaking your head again. “maybe not tomorrow, but i’m sure we’ll make time for it again soon.”

and with that, joão left the bathroom, leaving behind a trail of laughter and the faint scent of his newfound skincare obsession lingering in the air.

summary:: jamal wins bundesliga with his girl by his side.

warnings:: none!

writers note:: expect this series to be done today!! bc these are concerningly easy to write esp when you have the idea clear in your mind! i was gonna make it that he won ucl as per @hearts4musiala request but i’m a culer so that doesn’t work w me.. 😔.

❦ - The Alchemy

The stadium was alive with chaos, golden confetti falling like a storm, the roar of fans echoing through the Allianz Arena. Jamal Musiala stood in the middle of it all, his hands clutching the Bundesliga trophy, the weight of it almost surreal. This moment had been everything he’d worked for, dreamed of, but somehow it felt even better because you were here.

You watched him from the sidelines, beaming, your chest swelling with pride. He’d worked so hard for this. You’d seen every late night, every self-doubt he barely let himself voice, and every time he pushed himself beyond what you thought was possible. Now, as he stood at the center of glory, you could see it in his eyes, the quiet disbelief, the golden glow of triumph.

He found you instantly in the crowd. His eyes softened in the way they always did when he looked at you, like you were the only thing grounding him in the chaos. Without thinking, you pushed through the barriers, weaving past teammates and staff who barely noticed your presence in the delirium of celebration.

When you reached him, Jamal didn’t say a word. He pulled you in, one hand still clutching the trophy while the other found your waist, holding you tightly against him. His forehead fell to yours, and for a moment, it was just the two of you, the noise of the world fading into the background.

‘You did it,’ you whispered, your voice catching.

‘We did it,’ he murmured back, his voice low and soft.

You shook your head, tears threatening to spill. ‘This was all you.’

He laughed under his breath, pressing a kiss to your temple. ‘Couldn’t have done it without you.’

You knew he meant it. The nights he’d called you after a bad game, the moments he felt the weight of the world on his shoulders; you’d been there. But this wasn’t about you. It was about him, about the magic he created every time he stepped onto the pitch.

‘Proud of you, Jam,’ you said, your voice barely audible over the noise.

His smile grew, but there was something else in his eyes, something tender and unspoken. ‘Feels like alchemy, doesn’t it?’ he said.

You blinked at him, confused.

‘All the doubt, the pain; turning it into this,’ he explained, lifting the trophy slightly. ‘It’s like gold. It’s like… us.’

Your chest ached at the way he said it. At how easily he compared this golden moment to the love you’d built together.

You kissed him then, soft and fleeting, the kind of kiss that didn’t need words. The world cheered around you, but Jamal only kissed you back, as if this was the real win of the night.

And maybe it was.
