Hi! I know you don't know me but my bf suffers from did and has only recently realized this and started treatment. Older alters of his say that there used to be an inner world and one even told me that they think a 'system collapse' has happened, so I guess my question is what all information can you offer me to understand and help him get his inner world back and restore any communication at all with his alters. hi, i am in no way an expert in innerworlds so this may be a bit tough for me to answer. i can give you what i have though.

i’m also not sure about what a system collapse is, but i know innerworlds can sometimes be less accessible to certain alters or can be harder to get to when something causes an increase in dissociative barriers. i’d try to figure out if there’s something that might have triggered this lack of communication to happen and try to figure out how to deal with it or cope with what’s going on. if ur bf has a therapist, it would be good to talk to them about it, even if it’s not about the did/innerworld disappearance, but about what most likely was the cause. if it has to do with undiscovered trauma tho, he should not go digging into that.

he could try reaching out in his mind to specific alters, see if they’ll respond. he could also try to build an innerworld manually; not all innerworlds automatically exist, some are made. i have a few pictures on my phone from a post i saw maybe a year ago with some innerworld building tips. here they are:

It’s considered socially unacceptable to discriminate against someone for their race, gender, or sexuality. Even if there’s still a huge problem with bigotry against those things, there’s still tons of voices that will fight against it. There’s countless people out there who will fight on your behalf despite everyone who’s against you

So when is it disabled people’s turn to get this support? Why is ableism still socially acceptable? Why is it still so hard to find communities that are truly against ableism? Even communities meant to support disabled people will turn around and show their bigotry to the next disability

In the past, when I-or whatever headmate was fronting at the time-used to used Tumblr, 90% of that very specific time..I was v. NOT sober. But-in that (minus the random mood swings), I was kind of bowled away by the sheer COOLNESS of content, because ...it felt like, PEOPLE THINK LIKE ME.

The other thing I thought was interesting was that I would sort of compile this phase work (of trauma), and voraciously research (somehow intuitively I knew how to seek out what information we needed whenever) topics about how to approach things. I gotta talk it over with the Gatekeepers I think, maybe see if we can access that data.

ok this thought is undercooked and i don’t have my adhd meds so bear with me but i think the reason why neurodivergents are drawn to this site is more or less because the world feels random to us, like everyone else got a manual for Socializing 101 and we didn’t, and so we don’t really know how to fit in or follow the general neurotypical code of conduct or the rules of social exchanges and it can feel isolating and overwhelming. but on tumblr chaos is the norm. like there aren’t any rules here, you don’t have to abide by standard social laws. it feels natural and genuinely enjoyable as a form of social media because we can revel in our weirdness and not be judged (at least not in a way that bears any weight) because we’re on tumblr, we’re all weird here. i think this is also why NDs typically find chaotic jokes funny as opposed to traditional forms of humor. the unexpected is the punchline; you don’t have to look into it for hidden social cues

Mercury and your voice 🗣️

Sun-Mercury people have a very confident , firm and stable voice. They do not shutter easily and can talk without hesitation. These people can also be famous for their voice or the way they talk. Sometimes can give an authoritative voice. Probably great at arguments or debates.

Moon-Mercury people have a very nurturing, feminine, motherly voice. They make you feel like home and probably often come to them for comfort. They just know what to say to make you feel safe and comfortable. Can also make someone poetic. These people Have a lovely voice .

Venus-Mercury people have a very attractive and charismatic voice. It can give deep voice to male and high pitched voice to females. These people can also change their voice to their liking. These people just know what to say to make people like them. Cute voice. Probably has a rich vocabulary.

Mars-Mercury people tend to have loud voice. These people tend to have a voice that can sort of scare people and the way they talk can make think that their mad or in a bad mood however that is not the truth. Their voice can be considered sexy haha. Very dominating voice.

Jupiter-Mercury people tend to have a loud and deep voice. In my observation their laugh is cute too. Also these people are always teaching things and like to share knowledge. Mostly teachers have this placement or someone at a higher post. These people can even earn through their voice. Like by starting their own podcast or Something.

Saturn-Mercury people tend to have a slow sometimes lazy voice. They have a very calm and nonchalant way of talking . Sometimes they can't get out right words out. Gives a very respectful voice. They calculate their words before talking. Can make someone always talk about rules and how you should always follow them

Neptune-Mercury people tend to have a dreamy, otherworldly type of voice. Their voice is just like a siren. Their voice is extremely attractive when they sing slow paced songs. They can enchant people with their voice. Can also give talents for music. Kind of voice that keeps you wanting for more.

Uranus-Neptune people tend to have a very unique voice . There's just something about their voice that screams different . Their voice stands out from the crowd. Voice so unique you'll recognize it from thousands of people. May also use unique words or the words that are not used normally.

Pluto-Mercury people tend to have an intimidating, seductive and deep voice. Even in woman. They voice seems very authoritative and can intimidated others as well. Though their voice is intimidating it's also seductive and sexy. Kind of voice that'll make you get addicted.

A Personal Thought on Water Venuses by Me.

I love to scroll through tons and tons of astrology observations all day. I can do this for days on end! However, I noticed that we can all agree within the community that having a water venus is a challenge. When I check people’s charts, I like to see how many water placements they have (if they have any) and see how much they feel beyond the physical. To me, having water placements means that you’ve learned somehow to master feeling beyond the physical. Feeling things for what they are, seeing things for what they are, having the ability to spot the subliminal and whatever else people have this tendency to overlook. It’s sucks because you have no choice to NOT face it. It is there, loud and clear. Having your Venus in this element allows you to see what goes on below the surface and seeing things for what they really are.

However, this gave me an idea. Humanity, in its current state cannot handle the natural intensity that water venuses bring on. Finding someone who can match your intensity (and not masking, acting like they can see it) is truly a rarity that seems impossible with every day passing. I’m convinced that we’re meant to literally feel and love beyond the physical. Each one in their own respective ways, depending on the sign. And when you put them together, maybe you can understand from my perspective how these placements are warriors, carrying the world on their backs, better yet in their souls.

Let’s start with a Cancer Venus. Thinking about what Cancer stands for (I.e. emotions, home/real estate, etc.) so I think that to love beyond the physical, I recommend making a space for yourself that you can call home.  Create a safe space where you, your vulnerability, your love, your creativity, etc. can thrive. In other words make a home for yourself. The saying that comes to my mind when thinking of this placement is “home is where the heart is.” Wherever you have your heart set on, that is where you will reside. Be careful of being around people who take advantage of that vulnerability because they are overstaying their welcome. That is your property and you have the right to kick someone out if they disrespect you. In some states, here in the USA, you are allowed to even take them out (if you catch my drift *cough cough* Texas and Florida  *cough cough*) by using a weapon. I am not saying that you need to kill someone…but don’t be afraid to use force if it goes *that* far. If you are able to find someone who can match your intensity, great! Invite them into your home and love them they way how you do when you’re alone. Make sure they love you as well!

For a Pisces Venus, I would say, developing an unconditional relationship with whatever is higher than you. Your spiritual side, your creativity as well, and any other innate talents that you are born with. Develop an unconditional, all-encompassing relationship with it. Because this is a mutable sign, explore the different ways to keep you interested and attached to it. You will need to learn how to express yourself in a plethora of ways to keep the flow going. You are to learn how to go with the ebb and flow of the journey to your higher self. Maybe you found someone who is also on their journey and you two just happened to cross paths. Great! However, beware that there are a lot of people who will cross your path, but only to be an obstacle overcome. By the way, it may seem like I am saying the same thing and in a way I am, but the way it is expressed is different. 

Last but definitely not least, Scorpio Venus. As everyone says, Scorpio is into the dark stuff. This placement has a love for the dark arts. If not a love for the dark arts, an appreciation for recognizing that which is liminal (I don’t know if that is the right term for it, but basically what is actually shown compared to what people want to show). Just like Pisces Venus, the goal here is to develop an enclosed relationship which that you’re innately blessed with. To consume the information, and in turn letting it consume you, guiding you with the necessary information that will help you avoid problems in the long run. Anything taboo, the psychology of a person’s mind, working with spirits/angels/demons/entities/etc. to help you achieve a personal goal whether it be protection for yourself, or to return someone’s negative energy that they have attempted to send to you. Allow yourself to become possessed by the knowledge. Allow yourself to be obsessive over the curiosity for more information regarding what does not be exposed to humanity. 

Of course, too much of a good thing is a bad thing, so practicing the concept of moderation is needed. But this concludes my speech on the psychology of water venuses, from a Scorpio Venus =). Be safe and travel!
