Farah's Voice πŸ’”πŸ’”

My name is Farah, and I displaced in Deir al-Balah, Every day feels like a battle we are losing, The war has stripped us of our homes, our safety, and now even our dignity.

Farah's Voice πŸ’”πŸ’”

There is no bread on our table, no clean water to drink, and no hope for tomorrow. My children, their small faces pale and hollow, ask me when they will eat again, I have no answer. The flour is gone, the shelves are empty, and the world feels so far away from our pain.

The hunger is more than physicalβ€”it eats away at our strength, our will to hope. My youngest, barely three, no longer cries from hunger; she is too weak.

We are not just numbers on the news. We are mothers, fathers, and children trying to survive in a world that has forgotten us πŸ’”Please, don’t let our voices fade into silence

"I Know People In Palestine Are Being Tortured, Bombed And Slaughtered, I Just Don't Want To See It"

"I know people in Palestine are being tortured, bombed and slaughtered, I just don't want to see it" is an unforgivable statement, and yet too many people, Americans in particular, are comfortable with saying it. Especially given that, apart from Israel, this is America's genocide. 70%.

If you aren't protesting this, if you aren't even showing a sliver of care, then no. You don't get to pretend you're a good person.

Hi world , it’s Sahar

Please read this as if I'm a member of your family . maybe your sister, daughter or a friend and as if my family who's under death now is yours.

My name is Sahar. A marketer shopping from Gaza, athe dreams she worked for but found herself losing the city she’s living in and losing any hope of a better future with it . And after a whole 4 years of studying and internship, the war had another idea.

I have 4 children: Hala the oldest, Rital, Odi, and Talin. We had a house full of love, dreams, and hopes that we strive to achieve one by one, but the war came and destroyed everything. We strive to travel outside Gaza to preserve our lives and obtain safety.

This loss circle didn’t end here, cause after more than 5 times of being displaced and having to leave our house escaping from rockets and death, we returned to our house and found it almost wiped off, more than half if it was destroyed and became an unlivable place leaving us not only with tired hearts but also without a place to stay in

We are suffering in the UNRWA shelter center from overcrowding, the spread of diseases, pollution, and the difficulty of obtaining water and entering the bathroom due to the large number present in the place. It has been a year since this suffering.

Look what this horrible war has done to us. It has turned our lives upside down. It is hard for your mind to imagine. You were living in a villa with all your necessities and luxury items available until the war transferred you to live in a school for more than 13 months. We saw death 100 times a minute. I have attached pictures of the suffering of living in the school.

The situation after almost 13 months of this genocide is that the borders of Gaza are still unfortunately closed and no one can get out of it, of course unless you pay the most money to save your life and cross the Rafah crossing to reach Egypt, as crossing the Rafah crossing costs about $25,00 to $5,000 per person, and as a family of 9, the amount we have to pay just to get to Egypt seems impossible to bear.

So, this is how the money will be spent:

* Paying about $5,000 for each member of my family of 9 to cross the Rafah crossing and safely reach Egypt

* About $5,000 covers the GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction)

* The rest of the money will be for housing, food, etc. for a period of time in Egypt

Asking for your help is the only way to save my family’s life and future, and your help may become our hope when hope is far from us under these circumstances, every dollar you can help with may save a life, bring hope to a tired heart and save a young future.

Please don't read this as a tragedy, I am here to ask you to prevent further tragedy and help us start our lives over. I am here to ask for your help not your sympathy, to ask you to take action either by donating or by sharing this with everyone you know who can help, please read this with your heart and take action as if it were your family, your mother and your siblings who are living in these circumstances.

Here is the donation link. Don't be stingy with me, even if it is a little. You will have contributed to preserving the lives of my family. With best wishes.

2012

The first time Yuji interfaced with Vessel and felt his spark was after his parents died in a car accident when he was only eleven years old, giving his grandfather custody of his childhood.Β

The old man wasn’t an affectionate person, but still provided the boy with everything he needed and more.Β

β€œFeel free to call this your home from now on.” He said.Β

When the kid cried and asked if there was anything he could do to bring his parents back, his grandfather wouldn’t give him a tissue to caress his cheeks flushed with tears or warm him with the most sincere hug, instead he would take his hand and lead him to the old and yellow walled location that was the living room. The place smelt like smoke since the first day he put his foot into the house, but he supposed it was because Wasuke would lit and smoke a cigarette at least five times a day. Here, he let Yuji sit on one of the two big couches put in the opposite corners of the space and brought him a pen and a sketchbook to make him lose himself in it. Initially Yuji was really confused on what he had to do with the objects he was given and with what his grandfather had meant. The old man simply responded: β€œLet the ink guide you.”

And so he tried.Β

Eventually he stopped asking questions, despite the still present and lingering pain he felt, and started going to the couch by himself.Β

In the beginning the lines he drew didn’t make any logical sense. They were only strings of blue ink sprayed on a white surface, but with time passing they started to grow on whatever his mind suggested to him, which wasn’t always what you’d expect a child to represent. Sure, there were airplanes and rabbits, but Wasuke started noticing how repeatedly Yuji drew explosions.Β

Red, yellow or blue and green bursts would be the subjects of the boy’s art and expression.Β

His grandfather never gave him any type of observation or remarks on it, only intense staring.Β

Yuji eventually got used to that too.

Eruptions and tinted gleams stopped making an appearance when his hand ceased to follow geometrical and sharp movements to pursue a more loose and soft pace, giving another meaning to it all.Β

The eyes were first, then the face shape and the nose, until he was looking at his mother’s face.Β

She didn’t look realistic. Not enough. But Yuji had somehow felt her again, after such a long time to his perception.Β

Everytime the pen was in his hand, it would navigate through the paper and paint it in her image and likeness.Β

He gave up.

Up till dance.

My family, my dear friends and everyone who knows me or not ، we are Issam and Sahar , newly married and living in Gaza, I'm 30 years old and Sahar is 26.

My Family, My Dear Friends And Everyone Who Knows Me Or Not ، We Are Issam And Sahar , Newly Married

Everyone who knows us knows that we are a reserved, quiet and reclusive person. We have always been an independent person and used to do everything ourselves for our family. So, I hope you understand that today it's difficult for us to talk about our personal issues and finally ask for help. I will tell you my story briefly, after I realized some of my dreams a short time ago by marrying my life partner and moving into my house, which we only stayed in for a few days until we were in the middle of the war, we fled to save ourselves and stay alive, we lost hope in life after all our dreams that we had dreamed of since childhood were shattered.

One of our dreams was to settle in the house we built stone by stone and be happy like other couples, but we couldn't because of the war.

I used to work as a lawyer in several companies, I am unemployed, I lost my job, I have no source of income, and everything I saved I put in the house, the house was destroyed and I have nothing now.

This is a picture of me as a lawyer with the head of the Bar Association

My Family, My Dear Friends And Everyone Who Knows Me Or Not ، We Are Issam And Sahar , Newly Married

My wife and I decided to start a fundraising campaign so that we can get some money to evacuate us after we lost everything, to rebuild our house that was destroyed by the occupation, and to get food, water and other necessities of life so that we can live first and then think about our future, which we don't know anything about.

Now, this is our house, which was destroyed by the occupation after my wife and I equipped it

The place where we live now is devoid of all the necessities of life, and we struggle with access to water, food, safety, and all the necessities needed to live.

Welcome to The Tub

Hello and welcome. If you're here from my AO3 Page, I applaud you for putting in the effort to get here. Hopefully, I'll be able to bring some extra ridiculousness to your day. If you want extra updates on my fics and original content, follow me here.

If you're here because of the tags, you should absolutely check out my AO3 (Rubber_Bathtub_Toaster) because I've tagged every fandom I've dabbled in so far. Don't take me too seriously, but also please take me seriously I need 10CCs of validation administered every 4-6 hours.

Who knows what's to come. Thanks for being here!

HelloπŸ‘‹

Please take a moment to read my story.

I am Heba Al-Dahdouh. I currently live in the completely destroyed city of Gaza. Since the war on Gaza began on 7/1/2024, my family- my father Nasif, my mother Asmaa, and my siblings Khaled, Ahmad, Muhammad, and Malak-have been living in constant fear, crying, and suffering due to shrapnel, shells, and bullets.

HelloπŸ‘‹

We have no food, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools, no homes, no cleaning supplies, and no clothes. My school has been bombed, and my brother Khaled's university is now rubble, depriving us all of education. The war has forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents unsuitable for living, especially in winter.

HelloπŸ‘‹

Every day we live death, terror, and panic a thousand times because of the ongoing bombardment of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the start of the war, we sought refuge at my aunt's house, . Imagine: we have survived imminent death more than 20 times and have been displaced among shelters more than 13 times. My siblings and I have suffered from many illnesses due to malnutrition, and we need medication continuously.

Dear friends around the world, Greetings to you from Gaza, the land of pe… Heba Nasef needs your support for Helping Heba Family : Escaping

If we stay in Gaza, we might lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza for a safe place. However, travel costs are extremely high. We need over $50,000 to leave Gaza. Due to exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, lack of security, the ongoing siege, and relentless bombardment, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity, with constant shelling and shrapnel flying above us? Dear compassionate friends around the world,

With your generous donations, even if small, you can save 7 people from imminent death, allowing us to start a life outside Gaza filled with love, peace, and hope.

With my warmest regards from the city of Gaza,

Heba Al-Dahdouh.
