I love how Duff just kneeled down (so the others would look tall for once)
I'd say Duff. I dunno why, I'm playing guitar but for some reason it's always the bassist. (Sometimes the guitarist as well but it's never and absolutely never the singer, drummer or keyboarder. I dunno why but it is what it is)
imagine you open ur door to see this… who you running to first ?😋
okay first of I wanna say that I‘m not a professional or anything like that so this is just gonna be my opinion because I‘m sick and I don’t have anything to do. Also I‘m not even sure if anyone‘s even gonna read this but well.
since this has been on TikTok for a long time, it‘s basically unavoidable to not be confronted with this shit on your fyp. And it annoys the living shit out of my because people are just casually like: "oh yeah I got DID/ ADHD/autism“, heck even Alzheimer’s. And then they be showing how, for example, their alters taking over with the most horrible acting known to mankind. I mean, why would you do that? Those are illnesses that destroy people‘s life and you PRETEND to fucking have it for attention or just because it‘s quirky. It‘s fucking not. At this point I just wanna say that I have neither DID nor ADHD nor autism but I know some people who do (but like diagnosed) and it doesn’t seem to be pleasant or qUiRKy at all.
especially in the case of DID people will just introduce their alters as if they‘re goddamn OC‘s or something like that. That‘s just not how it works. And people doing it online is already annoying but I also have that one friend of mine that seems to think that it’s something cool as well.
a while ago she started telling everyone she had DID and she even made up names for her alters and what they‘re like, but now, a year and a half later she doesn’t even talk about it anymore and now say‘s she has autism. I don’t even really know what to say…
I’m not saying that every person is faking it, there are people out there who actually suffer from those mental illnesses but STOP making it up for attention. Self diagnosis is just something you do when you have a cold and sometimes you can maybe say "okay, I think I’m depressed/have a depressive episode", for example, because you‘re showing a lot of symptoms. And if that‘s the case you should go to a psychologist and do a checkup. Same goes for any of those illnesses but don’t go around, undiagnosed, and tell everyone how quirky you are because you have "autism", just because you show one symptom that fits to 50% of the human species.
I just hope I didn’t offend anyone who actually suffer‘s from those mental illnesses somehow. But I don’t think many people will actually read this anyways.
I don't know if anyone even wants my opinion on this but imma just say it anyways.
You're pretty much right about all that and I think as well that neither of those should be okay. I mean most of them are already more or less happily married, like just leave them alone.
Also it's just disgusting to a certain degree and I just think that people should keep it to themselves if they have such thoughts.
I agree with you and I think it's pretty important that someone finally said it.
I've admittedly made tasteless jokes in the past (a realization I've recently come to), but some of you are far too comfortable with the way you discuss GNR in posts and anonymous asks.
Stuff like: "What's his tip color?" "How big is it?" "I bet he's packing a monster." "I want him inside me."
And hundreds more along the same lines flood discussions. I recognize the potential hypocrisy in my critique, but I feel compelled to address this.
Imagine a blog dedicated to a female rockstar where anonymous questions from teenage boys read: "I bet it's bubblegum pink." "I wonder what her breasts feel like." "I want to suck those things so bad." "I bet it grips."
You would be among the first to condemn it, labeling such remarks as inappropriate, objectifying, and unacceptable under any pretense (humor included), and you'd be right.
So why is this behavior normalized when the subject is a male musician? Is it because they're men? Is it because you believe it's permissible simply because you're a woman? The truth is, this conduct is no different from that of the stereotypical "horny men" often criticized for their behavior. The only difference is that women engaging in this receive a pass due to:
A) The lack of seriousness attributed to such remarks when directed at men.
B) The perception that such statements are inherently comedic.
If I, or any other guy, were to make similar comments about a female musician, I or they'd be labeled a pervert or a disgusting creep. The same standard should apply universally.
based on this shit
This is one of the best posts I've seen this entire month tbh
Who the hell is more twinky 🙁
yeah I actual got that one teacher that talks to me every time I wear a band shirt, one time he even played Paradise City in class cuz I was wearing a gnr hoodie
the amount of times a teacher actually asked me about my band shirts is crazy
