Out of the lineup of GMMTVs 22 2022 series there are actually 14 I really want to watch (last year there were only 8) - so here are those 14 in order from my least to most excited for.

14. My School President (BL)

I have all 8 BLs gmmtv are producing on this list and this is at the bottom. This is about a school president who tries to cancel their schools music club and in fighting to get it back the head of the club and president fall in love. This looks like a classic school BL, but it looks a bit too classic, it seems to lack a bit of substance and I also I think BLs can do more now, BUT it could be cute!

13. Oops Mr Superstar Hit on Me

This is the love story between a 40yr old star actor and a 20yr old girl that begins after they spend the night together. I’m a massive fan of Jane and will watch anything she’s in! She’s a brilliant actress and I think I’m either going to find this super pr*blematic, or sweet - depending on how they tell the story.

12. Star & Sky (BL)

This is 2 stories in 1 which are… 2 boys part and meet again 3 years later and the other is a 1000 stars remake, without the military or heart transplant. This is directed by New who makes more bad than good series, but he’s also behind classics like Love By Chance. And this is Joong from 2Moons2s first gmmtv drama and I really like him. The trailer didn’t show the conflict in these but a lot of tears - so I don’t know what to expect. I’m cautiously looking forward to this.

11. The Warp Effect

An inexperienced 17yr old wakes up 10yrs later as a gynaecologist and expert on women. This looks so fun, different and surprisingly informative on the subject of s*x and peoples relationship with s*x - with a cute love story as a bonus. Also New is the star and I’ve missed seeing him in gmmtv series since he’s become so famous! I’m surprised how excited I am.

10. U.M.G (Unidentified Mysterious Girlfriend)

A boys first love goes missing, she returns 10yrs later, but somethings strange (hint: it’s aliens). This is Nanons year at gmmtv! He was in 4 trailers! But this seems to be the one with the biggest budget. I’m into this concept, it seems more dark and creepy rather than cute but still so campy and fun. It’s gonna be weird and I’m hyped.

(Gmmtv announced a new anothology series called “Midnight Series” i assume like in the past these will be mini series consisting of 3-6 episodes. All 3 midnight series are on my list they all look so far from gmmtvs style but all brilliant!)

9. Midnight Series: Dirty Laundry

Girl who works at laundromat has a crush on a regular customer. Turns out that customer is involved in some criminal business and if they don’t find a missing briefcase of money they’re dead. This is the lowest Midnight series on my list, but it’s another Nanon series and it’s full of familiar faces. It looks like a camp and crazy mafia/mystery series, with Nanon…in drag!

8. You Are My Favourite (BL)

A boys first love is getting married, he finds a way to travel back in time hoping he can change things to end up with her instead, but when he comes back to the present he’s in bed with her groom. Soo I’m not the biggest Krist fan, but he looks kinda sweet here. And I’m a huge Mike fan! Also they’re irl bffs so the chemistry should be good. I mean it’s about TIME TRAVELLING GAYS -these are the plots I want!

7. Homeschool

It’s all about a creepy, dark, mysterious boarding school. This looks so dark but I’m really excited for it. It’s got such a brilliant young cast. I have zero idea what will happen but I really really want to find out!

6. The Eclipse (BL)

At a prestigious boys school every eclipse something bad happens to a troublemaking student. This is the story of the head prefect and troublemaker falling in love. This is how you make a school drama interesting! I wanted to see Khaotung in a dark roll, this is way darker than I expected. Also we have our second couple from Fish Upon the Sky back, yay! This looks so good!

5. Vice Versa (BL)

A guy is living his dream when he drowns and wakes up in an alternate universe in someone else’s body, he has to find another person from his world to travel back home. (Yes, I did freak when I saw OhmNanon are guest appearing as the swapped into bodies) but I’d be excited for this without them. This is such a unique love story. I’m so in love with all the fantasy BLs this year!

4. Cupid’s Last Wish (BL)

2 friends become enemies and when one ends up in an accident causing him to bodyswap with his sister. The ex friends go on a road trip together to return him to his body. Earthmix!!! They’re my fave gmmtv couple and they’re back together - this time as enemies to lovers and it looks ADORABLE! I’m buzzing

3. Midnight Series: Midnight Motel

Midnight series number 2! In this one Off plays a man in debt, he meets a mistreated call girl and they decide to start a call girl app to earn money. I think this will be the role that cements Off as one of the all time greats! Also Jan is in this as well as 2 other series on my list - she’s quickly becoming a fave! It just looks so stylistic and I’m already sad it’ll likely be so short. I need this now!

2. Never Let Me Go (BL)

A boys mafia boss father is m*rdered and a boy his age is brought in to protect him. I know bodyguard BLs are the trend atm. But this looks INCREDIBLE! The Fish Upon The Sky lead’s are killing it in this totally different genre. Also Chimon seems to have a big role! yay! It looks so dark and gritty, but also so beautiful. I’m so surprised and happy gmmtv is making an original series like this!

1. Midnight Series: Moonlight Chicken (BL)

It’s EarthMix AGAIN?! So, Earth owns a chicken shop where he comes across Mix one night and from there their troubling relationship begins. Well, this is an infidelity plot (boo) but it looks so gorgeous (it’s style is reminiscent of ITSAY). Its a story this writer has been wanting to tell for years and he’s entrusted it to P’Aof to tell it (1000stars & Bad Buddy director) so basically I think I’ve d*ed from excitement.

So that’s my list! This is gonna be a crazy year and I’m so excited! Which of GMMTVs lineup are you guys watching? Last year I compiled a list and Not Me was at the top so I’m still eagerly waiting for that. And Bad Buddy was in my no.2 spot and that’s exceeding all my expectations!

I enjoy fics like this, because they make you squeal at the cuteness in it, yet it makes you go, “yeah, sometimes I feel that way too.” In other words, I think that most people would probably be able to relate to some of the feelings portrayed in this fic.
