so this vid is sad as FUCK LMFAOOOO but even though i have a great life with many wonderful things in it, i have still dealt with depression. idontwannabeyouanymore is about times ive felt this way. the real truth is that depression can happen to anyone no matter who you are or what you have and there is NO SHAME to admitting that you feel this way. its a very real thing and should never be ignored or labeled “a choice.” i feel very lucky to have a strong support system and many outlets (like music and art and you) that help me get through it but i would be lying if i said i didnt still struggle sometimes. if for any reason you feel that you need some help, PLEASE reach out to someone. i kno there are a lot of people out there who feel the same way as i do and might not have help but i want you to know (i have to remind myself sometimes too) YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS. the crisis text line is always there, u can text HOME to 741741 in the US. so if you are with me in this struggle please get some help. i love you.

discovered some new unreleased songs that i don’t think everyone knows of!

- daddy (feat. madeinTYO)

discusses being submissive to “daddy.” she talks about him consoling her after she’s sad, “there’s nothing i love more than doing what i’m told.”

- 6.18.18

a tribute billie wrote after famous rapper xxxtentacion’s death. no matter your opinion on him, he and her were friends and he helped her get through a lot. she posted and deleted a screenshot on her story of a text from him: “please at least tell me you’re okay?” alluding to a possible suicide attempt she had made. his death was heartbreaking for her.

- bad company

we don’t have many lyrics, but the ones that are known talk about how fake love can be. she discusses an unknown “picture perfect family… shoulda known they keep bad company.” hmm…

- listen before i go

a song about billies depression and suicidal thoughts. an open suicide letter. her final thoughts for us to hear before she’s gone. “sorry cant save me now.” a fucking tearjerker.

- see through

“wait a minute, let me finish, i know you don’t care… but can you listen?” seems as if it was written after an argument. about feeling see through to those you love.

- wish u were gay

after being in love with a boy for way too long, billie wrote this song about her frustrations with him not reciprocating. it’s about believing that it would be simpler if he was just gay, it would explain everything. after writing this, he came out to her!

- limbo / seven days

billie talks about a relationship in which all they do is fight. she needs constant confirmation that he loves her just as much as she does. a theme of vulnerability. written so well with literary devices, great if u have an assignment for analyzing a song!

- take what i want

“i take what i want when i want it… and i want you.” need i say more?

- another stupid song

billie’s not gonna write “another stupid song” about him. “saying that you miss me oh well” “you ask me what i want for you to shut up” this is one of my favorite unreleased songs. an anthem to our exes with a chill slow vibe.

- true blue

billie wrote this song when she was younger and strongly dislikes it now lmao. “true blue” is pertaining to the emotions her love is making her feel. contains a lot of pretty imagery!

- because i’m in love with you/i love you

this song is going to be everyone’s favorite love letter. has billies most vulnerable lyrics in it, which is very rare considering she always puts up a hard front about love.
