Honestly this AU could work either way BUT mostly I was thinking of Inhun Resident Evil Village AU, with Gi-hun as Ethan Winters and In-ho as Karl Heisenberg. Perhaps Oh Il-nam would be the Mother Miranda in this case. Not sure about the other lords... The Recruiter could be one, maybe? And the Commanding Officer? Maybe he'd be the Lady Dimitrescu equivalent, with the guards being the "daughters" lol. You know it wouldn't be a one-to-one but I could see making it work some how. The VIPs being Umbrella Corps? And I guess Jun-ho would be Chris (though he does give me more Leon vibes, but like, Leon doesn't show up in RE8, but I suppose since it wouldn't need to be an exact remake of RE8 it could be changed).
