"RIGHT WHERE I LEFT IT" â Bakugo Katsuki
a/n : OK OK just think ab Bakugo with a tattoo of his wifeâs lipstick stain? this might be my fav work atp content : fluff. kiss kiss kiss. secret marriage. pro hero bakugo. bakusquad freaking out. 1k words.
Bakugo doesnât come home quietly, he never has.
The door closes harder than necessary, not slammed, but firmâfinal. The kind of shut that says heâs done with people, cameras, lights, and noise. You hear the usual rhythm of him dropping his keys, kicking off his shoes, muttering something low under his breath as he moves through the apartment. He doesnât come straight to you. First, he changes, washes off the evening and leaves the night behind.
Youâre already lying in bed when he finally comes in. The light is soft, not too dim. The bedroom quiet in the way you both like it. Youâre stretched out on the covers in one of your nightdressesâsimple, mid-thigh, familiar. Something you didnât think twice about putting on. When you glance up and see him standing there, cleaned up and still carrying the weight of the night across his shoulders, you donât say a word. You just open your arms.
He doesnât hesitate. Crosses the room and sinks onto the bed like heâs been walking toward you all day. He fits into you without effort, head tucked near your collarbone, hand on your waist, body relaxing piece by piece as he lets the noise fall away. You hold him quietly, running your fingers through his hair.
âLong night?â you mumble, running your hand on his large, glorious back. âFuckinâ nightmare,â he mutters, voice heavy against your skin.
âYou left your collar open.â
He groans under his breath. âDidnât realize it was that low.â
âThey saw it.â you tease him.
âYeah, they wouldnât shut the fuck up about it.â
You press your lips to his neckâsoft, warm, familiar. He exhales through his nose, shoulders loosening just a little. You kiss the spot again. Just below his jaw. Then again. And again. Each one slow, thoughtless, part of you. Over the tattoo. Over where it began.
Youâve been kissing him there since U.A.
Back then, it was new for both of you, despite being well into your third year. That was the first time you both really let someone in. It wasnât a flingâboth of you had tried that with other people before, but nothing had ever stuck. Not for him. Not for you.
You never talked about it much. Not with the others. It was your first serious relationship. His too. You kissed him there before every mission, every big test, and sometimes just because it felt right. He used to roll his eyes at you, muttering that it was dumbâbut he never pulled away. Never told you to stop.
No one knew, really. Just Kirishima, and Deku. They were the only ones who ever saw through the both of you. You and Bakugo didnât broadcast it. You didnât need to. You found your rhythm in empty hallways and quiet dorm rooms, the days between training sessions when no one else was looking. When heâd get too stubborn to admit he needed a break, youâd pull him into a corner, press your lips to that spot, and heâd sigh like youâd taken the weight of the world off his shoulders.
Back then, it was just you two.
Tonight, itâs not a secret. Everyone saw it. The tattoo. The kiss. Japan exploded over the fact that Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight had a lipstick stain tattoo on his neck. They speculated. They made guesses. They screamed about the mystery woman who had permanently marked him.
Youâre smiling softly to yourself when the video comes throughâKirishimaâs message, the one from the event, the one where Bakugo is surrounded by the squad, the camera flashes going off, and Mina is practically yelling at him.
âBAKUGO, TELL ME WHO KISSED YOUâWHO KISSED YOU AND WHY THE HELL IS IT TATTOOED??â
Kaminari is screeching behind her. âDID YOU JUST TATTOO SOMEONEâS LIPS ON YOUR NECK?! WHO ARE YOU HIDING???â
Seroâs already holding up his phone, looking like heâs trying to figure out if heâs witnessing a crime. âDude, WHO is she? This is next-level.â
You even notice Todoroki standing in the back, looking at Bakugo curiously also wondering about his tattoo. And Kirishima, standing off to the side, is grinning from ear to ear, like the smug bastard he is, knowing full well whatâs really going on. Then he texts you,
guess your soft launch is on đ
You canât help but laugh a little, shaking your head as you set the phone down. When you look back at Bakugo, his eyes are half-lidded. His fingers are still tracing the hem of your nightdress, and you know heâs trying to let go of the tension from the evening.
You lean in and kiss the tattoo, just below his ear, where itâs always been.
âLet them guess,â he whispers. He exhales, pulling you closer, his lips pecking your lips. âThey wonât figure it out,â you says, voice laced with amusment.
âGood,â he agrees, âThey never will.â
The kiss on his neck is more than a mark. Itâs the secret only youâve ever shared. Itâs your couple's trademark, something that will always be yours.

NERD GOJO WHO'S YOUR TA!
synopsis. TA nerd gojo who has a crush on you and gets assigned as your tutor.
content. 18+ explicit content. foul language. public sex. dom/sub undertones. inappropriate relationship. unprotected sex. virginity loss. feminine description used.
note. umm first time posting... enjoy!!
nerdjo, who works as the TA in your chemistry class, and due to your lackluster performance so far in the semester, he gets assigned as your tutor. He's a total nerd whose interests fall outside the typical college student's. Despite that, you still find him to be so cute. He's a little shy and on the quieter side, and his confidence mostly comes through when he's teaching."
nerdjo, who always comes to class early and helps set up labs before the students flock in, is dressed in a sharp white lab coat that pairs well with his shaggy white hair. He always wears his framed glasses, which he constantly has to push up because his head is shoved in some book that you wouldn't even know where to begin to understand.
nerdjo, who didn't even realize that you were no longer listening to his explanation on today's lecture and instead was fantasizing about fucking him in the middle of the dimly lit library that you were studying in. Chemistry was long gone from your mind, and all you could think about was how you desperately craved to see how heâd look as he struggled not cum inside of you.
nerdjo, who only realizes your mind is elsewhere when he glances into your eyes and can tell you didnât retain a single word he said for the past 20 minutes...at least. He instead notices you're looking at him in a way he can't recall any girl has looked at him before, you were practically staring into his soul with your lust-filled eyes.
nerdjo, who knows it's wrong because heâs your TA but can't help but shamelessly take a glance down at your very low-cut top that pushes the soft skin of your chest together and makes it appear as if you're spilling out of it. He nearly wants to drool at how soft they look under the confines of the fabric and how they would probably fill his hands as he takes your nipples into hisâ
You caught his wandering eyes shamelessly traveling down your body before quickly lowering his gaze to the book in front of him. You could see his blood rush to his cheeks and create a rosy blush that exposed his embarrassment. His shyness only turned you on even more. Just thinking of being able to ruin your nerdy TAâs innocence made the space between your thighs grow even more wet.
nerdjo, who was now feeling the consequences of his perverted actions and could feel himself growing hard under the table. To try and distract himself, he started rambling on about the lecture again, this time stumbling on his words a concerning amount of times over topics you know he would be able to teach in sleep.
nerdjo, who knew the feelings flooding his body were so wrong. He shouldn't be getting so aroused around one of his students, He shouldn't be noticing how pretty she is, and he really shouldn't be wondering if the color of the bra strap peeking out the side of her top matches her panties! But as much as he tried he just couldn't force the thoughts out of his mind. The once-cold library felt so much warmer, and the space between your chairs didn't feel like enough.
âare you feeling okay? You seem kind of hot,â you asked, playing concerned. You took the opportunity to put your hand on his thigh, causing his leg to almost twitch immediately.
âoh-no m-me? Iâm fine!" he stumbles on his words, and your hand continues to brush back and forward his pants, each time subtly getting a little too close to where you shouldn't.
nerdjo, who nearly jumps at the feeling of your getting close to his inner thigh and tries his best to play it off as if youâre not almost massaging his soon-to-be raging bulge in the middle of this empty library right now.
He nervously pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose as he feels your hand get closer and closer to a place no girl had touched before. He was at a loss for words, barely able to bring himself to protest your actions as his brain was slowly turning to mush the more he felt your touch.
âbut you donât look fine,â you say, feigning worry. You take his cheek in your palm and turn his flustered-horny face to make eye contact with your lust-filled ones.
âI think I know just how to help you though,â you say as you finally move your other hand right on his crotch and begin to massage his painfully hard dick through his pants. He audibly gasps in surprise at your forwardness and can't stop the immediate sigh of pleasure that escapes his lips.
"f-fuck this is so wrong- i-i'm your TA we can't-." He tries to remind you while clearly fighting to hold back his moan and making no actual move to stop your hand.
"But it feels good, doesn't it? you like the way I touch you? You ask while dipping your hand below the waistband of his pants, making the only barrier between you his boxers as you apply even more pressure to his aching cock. You could feel the pre-cum surrounding his tip, already wetting your hand through the fabric. Your voice was so sweet to his ears, paired with the feeling of your hand; it was all too much for him, and he could no longer continue his pathetic fight against you. All he could do was shamelessly nod through his moans.
"You've been such a good boy helping me... It's time you let me help you."
ââââââââââââ
The once quiet library was now filled with the obscene sounds of gojo's plunging his cock in and out of your poor sopping-wet pussy without holding back in the slightest.
You were the least bit prepared for your nerdy TA's to have so much length and thickness hidden beneath his pants. He was giving you the biggest stretch of your life as he fucked you on the library table with no mercy. It's like his hips had a mind of their own as soon as he sunk into the warmness of your core. And it didn't help that your tight walls were sucking him back in with every stroke, accompanied by squelching sounds of your pussy, driving him even more crazy.
""f-fuckk omggg, this feels so good," he whined as he tilted his head back with his eyes practically glued shut. He couldn't bear to look at you as he felt like he would explode any minute if he made eye contact with you while you were in such an unholy position.
"cmon baby, look at me, look at all the mess you made," you beg him as a loud moan escapes your lips. His dick was hitting places you didn't even know could be reached, and even though there was a slight pain that came with his thickness you found it to be pleasurable.
It made you crave to feel every inch of him inside you, so you lifted your leg onto the table, making his hips press closer into you and giving him a new angle that had him nearly about to shed a tear. He slows down his pace, barely being able to handle the feeling of his fat tip kissing your cervix over and over again. (you couldn't really blame him, it was his first time getting his dick wet.)
"I'm so sorry baby omg m'sorry- if I look I won't last!" he whined apologetically. This position had him stars and the only way to stop himself from filling you up was to try to slow down. He gave you slow but deep strokes that had you feeling every vein of his cock throbbing inside you. He was trying his best not to come quick so he could enjoy the feeling of your pussy longer, he was already so attached. He reached in front of you and took a handful of your chest, squeezing the soft skin of your breast before gently toying with your nipples.
As good as it felt you weren't having any of it. "mm-but don't you want to come inside me?" your question forces his eyes wide open. He couldn't believe what he was hearing, a girl as pretty as you were going to let him cum inside??
"ahh- god, I must dreaming right now." he babbled as his brows scrunched together. 'Such a nerd,' you thought to yourself. Gojo was trying his best not to focus too hard on the feeling of you sucking him in so he could avoid embarrassing himself by cumming on the spot. His movements became more sloppy, which let you know he couldn't hold on for much longer.
"Its not a dream baby- please I need you to fill me up!" you moan out feeling his dick contnously brush against your spot. "I need it all inside me please." you begged while looking into his glossy eyes.
That was his last straw. Without even thinking if you could physically handle it, he quickened his pace, and you nearly choked in surprise at how fast he was fucking you. The library was filled with your sultry sounds harmonizing together. His feverish eyes gazed into yours with desperation. you knew he was close and so were you.
"oh my godd m'cummingg" you cried out to him. your cunt pulsated around his cock, liquid streams gushing out, splashing onto his lower abs and thighs. Your body trembles as your orgasm continues, and he continues to fuck you through it and chase his own. The sight of your orgasm only pushes Gojo completely over the edge.
"baby I'm gonna cumm- baby please, please." he didn't even know what he was begging for at this point. His mind was so far gone that all he could think about was coming inside of you. "It's okay baby let go-"
You could feel his strokes get more and more sloppy and his thighs tremble, his pretty blue eyes rolled back as he finally emptied his aching cum-filled balls into your pussy. You couldn't help but moan as you felt the warmth fill you up. There was so much cum spilling out that it overflowed from within you and traveled down between your legs.
Your bodies succumb to the exhaustion and collapse together on the table. "This must be what heaven feels like," he says breathlessly with only feelings of euphoria running through his brain.
'such a nerd' you smile to yourself.

Sukunaâs house is different from yoursâ itâs sharper, darker, colder. Itâs devoid of warmth, a stark contrast from yours, yet thereâs a certain calm in the air when you wake up there in the morning. It could just be the fact that there's no random toys laying around, something you donât get to wake up to much often.Â
Or maybe the fact that you actually got to sleep in for once in your life since Sukuna was the one who kept an eye on the baby monitorâ waiting for any sign that Sayomi was starting to wake up. The goal was to catch her before she started crying so you could sleep in.Â
Maybe this was your gift for keeping a little human alive and happy for an entire yearâ a full night of uninterrupted sleep and waking up at 10:00 am.Â
You werenât sure why he was so adamant on having you two sleep over the night before her birthday, but after a whole week of him practically begging you without giving a real reason why, you finally said yes.Â
It made sense when he surprised you with Yomiâs very own room. He wasnât sure what to get her for her birthday and decided it wouldâve been perfect since she didnât have one at his house in the first place. The room itself was the complete opposite from the rest of the house, filled with different shades of pink and soft texturesâ very cottage fairy vibes.
You avoided saying that though, only because he wouldâve made fun of you for wording it that way. But it was beautiful, it became the one spot in Sukunaâs dark home that the sun had shone on.
He also revamped the room that was next to hers for you, just in case you didnât feel completely comfortable with letting her spend the night there alone. He didnât have to go that far, you wouldâve stayed in any room or even the couch, but you appreciated the extra effort. Your room definitely wasnât as fancy as Ms. Sayomiâs, but you could tell he had you in mind when decorating it. Soft white linen sheets, some art pieces hung up on the wall and a couple of plants laying around. It had a similar vibe to your home.
The party isnât until Saturday, but you still wanted the day of her actual birthday to be special. You took the day off from work and Sukuna took the day off from practice. Some close family will be coming over a little later for an early dinner. Itâll be your parents, along with Jin, Yuji, his other brother Choso and Chosoâs long time girlfriend, Yuki.Â
You havenât met Yuki yet, but youâre fine with having her around your daughter. Sheâs been with Choso since their freshman year of highschool. Just from what youâve heard so far, you get the feeling that she wonât be someone temporary in Yomiâs lifeâ something you wonât outwardly say to Sukuna, at least not in that same exact wording. The last thing you need is him getting offended that you still donât want him to introduce her to Yorozu.Â
Theyâve been official for a little over three months now, you told yourself that youâll allow it once they reach the one year mark. And no, you donât think youâre being harsh on the timeframe, you hold yourself to the same standard as well. You want Sayomi to meet a future step-parent, not a girlfriend or boyfriend.Â
You take one last look at your phone before heading downstairs. The closer you get to the staircase, the more your daughterâs laughter fills the air. Sheâs grown to be quite the daddyâs girl, Sukuna really doesnât have to do much and sheâs already smiling at him.Â
âMm!! Hi mama!â She excitedly greets you when you come into view, itâs the one sentence she can say just about perfectly.
Sukunaâs feeding her breakfast and you're pretty sure he was just eating her food as a âjokeâ, hence the laughter.Â
âGood morning, birthday girl!â You lean down and give her several kisses on the cheek. âAre you eating breakfast with your dad?âÂ
She tilts her head when she looks at you and babbles some random sequence of words that are only known to her, then finishes it off strong by saying âdadaâ.Â
âSounds fun babe!â You enthusiastically say, itâs always better to just act like you know. Sukuna ends up laughing, having no idea what the hell she just said either but he likes the passion behind it.Â
âDid you sleep good?â He asks in place of a normal greeting, continuing to feed Yomi the rest of her oatmeal.Â
âI actually did.â You say, brushing some of the babyâs hair off of her forehead. Youâre a little afraid to look anywhere else, Sukunaâs in nothing but a pair of short rugby shorts. You try to not think that everythingâs about you, but youâre seriously having a hard time believing he didnât do this on purpose.Â
Whether it was on purpose or not, the one thing you know for sure is that this man is not above accusing others of lusting over him and trying to objectify himâ all it takes is a glance while Sukunaâs in a silly goofy mood.
âWhat about you two? Did she wake up super early today?âÂ
âShe woke up so fucking early,â he sighs and complains. âShe got up at 5:00 am, so I gave her a bottleââ
âDid you measure it correctly?â
âWho knows, sheâll survive.â He waves off your concerns and continues. âAnyways, I gave her a bottle and took her back to my room. We both fell back asleep, then she woke me up at 8:00 am by picking my fuckinâ nose.âÂ
âThatâs so gross Yomi, he has germs up there.â You squish her cheeks and tease her.Â
âShe would not be here right now if you thought I had germs.â He murmurs, feeding her the last spoonful of her food.Â
âWhat did you say?â
âNothing.âÂ
The day goes by slowly. You end up having to go back to your house real quick to grab a couple things, like makeup since you forgot it for some reason. Other than you brief trip home, the three of you lounged around up until family members started showing up.Â
The first to arrive was Sukunaâs side. As always, Yujiâs excited to see his baby cousin. No introductions were needed for Jin and Choso since youâve already met them, so you introduce yourself to Yuki and spend some time getting to know her.
She was also nice enough to bring a smash cake for Sayomi, something that you and Sukuna slightly felt guilty about since you both completely forgot a cake and candles.Â
You donât even know how it slipped your mindâ probably happened because her actual party is on a different day and this is literally your first time celebrating your childâs birthday.Â
You quickly let it go after Sukuna told you a lot of kids in this world donât get to have cake on their birthdays. In that moment you truly understood why he is the way he is.
Your parents arrive around an hour later. They donât bother providing an explanation, even with Sukuna glaring at them as he patiently waited for one. Ever since they retired, theyâve started to run off of their own time, a.k.a itâs not 6:00 pm unless they say it is.
Itâs kind of funny when you think about it, but you still feel bad for the people that have actual appointments with them. The only reason why your mom shows up to her workout classes on time is because they threatened to kick her out for constantly showing up late.Â
Well deserved in your opinion, but you kept it to yourself.Â
Even with how.. particular your parents can be, everyone gets along surprisingly well. As expected, they really liked Jin, but it was Choso that ended up capturing their hearts. They even made a comment about how theyâd adopt him if they could.
Unfortunately Sukuna, who was already drinking, overheard that.
Itâs one of those days where youâre not sure if heâs being serious or not. You were leaning towards him being serious since they gushed over all the guests, except him. He also started listing off reasons why heâs better than all of them, and since itâs Sukuna, he never ran out of reasons.Â
Itâs impressive how obsessed he is with himself.
âDo you guys want a refill?â Choso gestured at your parentâs empty glasses, interrupting Sukuna and giving him another reason in his head.Â
âOn top of that, I donât interrupt others, especially when it comes to proving to others that I respect my elders.â Sukuna continues to ramble, he was also way more fucked up than he was when he first started. âWhich is ageist, or however the fuck you pronounce it. Listenâ mom, dadâ I donât care about how old someone is, there is no age limit to getting your ass beat.â
âDid you just call me an elder, Sukuna?â Your dad asks, deciding that getting called old was far more concerning than Sukuna basically saying his hands were rated E for everyone.Â
âMe? Never!â He tries not to laugh as he begins to twist the narrative. âChoso said that shit, not me.â
âI never said that!â Choso defends himself. But itâs too late, Sukuna was going to win this argument by any means necessary.Â
âYou didnât have to say it, you showed them that you thought they were old by offering to refill their drinks.â He turns away from your parents and smirks at his brother who was just trying to be nice. âTheyâre strong, independent people. Their arms arenât go to break off by pouring themselves a well deserved drink for being the best grandparents in the world.âÂ
âWow.â You turn to look at your parents who are floored by how he just doesnât shut up when heâs drunk. âHe holds you guys in such high regard yet you couldnât even buy him his first pair of earrings.â
âDonât you start with us now too.â Your dad says, you couldnât tell if it was a warning or plea.Â
âGod forbid women have hobbies.âÂ
âGiving your father a headache is not a hobby.â He scolds you, he doesnât get too far since you start laughing.Â
âOkay, okay. Iâll stop, Iâm done.âÂ
âGood âcause I was just getting started.â You already know who said this.
After chugging two massive glasses of water and listening to his daughter have a meltdown that heâs convinced was for fucking fun, Sukuna sobers up. You all decide itâs the perfect time to do a test run for the smash cake. Sheâs going to eat some of course, but everyoneâs more interested in seeing how Sayomi would react to a group of people singing happy birthday to her. It might not be the most accurate result since there will be almost a hundred people at your house on Saturday, but it doesnât hurt to try.Â
So you guys give it a try. Sheâs slumped back in her high chair, staring at the cake like itâs more of an inconvenience than it is a delectable treat. Sukuna tries to tickle her neck and she just frowns and slaps his hand away.
But no tears. This is good.Â
Her expression changes when you light the candle on top, making her a little more interested than before.
âMama no?â She asks and you nod.Â
âThatâs right babe, no.âÂ
She points at the lit candle, âno?â
âNo.â You say again, she seems to get it. Even if she didnât and eventually tried to grab at it, you were close enough to stop her. âNo touching, thatâll give you an ouchie.â
After fully explaining why fire was bad and doubting she understood or even listened, you moved on to the moment everyoneâs been waiting forâ the singing.
Itâs kind of ridiculous how far you all would go to see what her emotional limit is, but youâre left with no other choice. On any other day, itâd be fineâ cry your fucking heart out. But itâs her first birthday party, youâd rather not bring her to the point where she gets in one of her moods and then sleeps for the entirety of the day. If itâs something avoidable like not singing happy birthday or keeping balloons away from you, youâll do it.Â
It goes well at first, she doesnât seem to care, but something bothers you.Â
âSukuna.â
âWhat?â
âCan you sing along with everyone?â
âNo.â He responds stubbornly, crossing his arms as if itâd prove a point.Â
âWhy not?â
âI donât like singing.â
âYouâre singing happy birthday,â you scoff at him. âYou donât have to hit Mariah Carey notes to properly sing it.âÂ
âI donât care. I gave her a room thatâs bigger than some peoples homes, the fuck does she need me to sing to her for?âÂ
âŠ
Not only did Sukuna sing beautifully, but Sayomi also didnât cry for all the 12 times youâve rehearsed the song. She even smiled at one point, so you have high hopes for Saturday. Everyone was quick to go home after that, which is understandable. You all had lost track of time, it was already pushing 9:00 pm when you brought the cake out.
You were the last to leave since you had to pack up all the stuff you had brought for the overnight stay, but there was no rush. Yomi was already fast asleep in Sukunaâs arms, so you were able to take your time making sure you didnât forget anything important.
âYou sure you two canât spend the night again?â He asks as you walk toward the driveway.Â
âI canât, my parents are staying with me for two nights.â You remind him once again, too tired to even get frustrated at having to repeat yourself.Â
He most likely does remember and just thinks he can talk you into it.
âSo?â He chuckles, genuinely not understanding why thatâs an issue.
âTheyâre staying with me because they want to spend that time with her.â You hold back a smile from how you actually have to break it down for him. âThey want to see her at night before she sleeps and they want to eat their breakfast with her in the mornings. I doubt theyâd stay if the house was empty.â
âThatâs dumb but alright.â He mutters, placing a kiss on Yomiâs head right after. âGonna feel empty here.â
âAre you still tipsy?â You ask, looking at him with slight disbelief.
âMaybe.â He says in response, yet the long pause beforehand tells you yes. âIâve said worse than saying my house feels empty while drunk.â
âI believe that.â You end up smiling when thinking about how he tried to turn your parents and Choso into enemies. âIâm surprised youâre saying that in the first place. I doubt itâll feel empty here if you invited your girlfriend over.âÂ
The suggestion brings genuine laughter to the man, eventually having to cover his mouth for a moment because Yomi began fussing around in his arms.Â
âSay her name.âÂ
âWhy would you want me to do that?â You immediately shoot him an annoyed look.
âI donât think Iâve ever heard you say her name before.â The smile on his face is way too warm for someone thatâs just realized something like that. âItâs always âyour girlfriendâ or just her pronouns.âÂ
âI think youâre thinking too much into it.â You laugh with him. âI wouldnât even know how to confirm or deny that, itâs never crossed my mind.â
âMaybe.â He shrugs, not caring that much if it were true or not. âBut yeah, I could invite her over.â
âYou should.â
âDefinitely should.â He easily agrees. âProbably wonât though.â
âDonât complain about being lonely then.â You softly scold him. The way you said it makes him realize hasnât felt this much warmth from you in years.Â
Having her here wouldnât fix that.Â
He probably shouldnât say that.Â
Itâs not the same as having you two here.
He probably shouldnât say that either.Â
It would never make a difference in the way you see him.Â
âI know.â He ends up saying, then forces out a low laugh. âI probably just need sleep.â
âI think so too.â You end up taking Yomi into your arms and begin walking to your car, he follows right behind out of habit. âYouâre not used to someone waking you up so much in the morning.â
âMânotâ Iâll get used to it though.â He says, watching you put her into the car seat.Â
His chest tightens a little more than usual this time around as he watches you gentle secure the rest of the straps.
âItâs fine if you donât, I never did.â You let out a little sigh after stepping away from the backseat. âItâs just easy to get over it because sheâs cute.âÂ
âShe's the cutest,â he chuckles and shuts the backseat door. âI might be a little busy tomorrow, so if I donât get the chance to visit then Iâll just see you Saturday morning.â
âSounds good. Have a goodnight.â You offer him a little smile before getting in the car.
âYou too.â He canât find it in himself to smile back right now, but allows his eyes to linger on you a little longer. Itâs the one thing you donât get on him for and hopes you continue to just let him have it.Â
As pathetic as it sounds, itâs all he has left.
â
âNice of you to come out the night before your daughter's party.â Itâs one of the first things Suguru says after you finally sit down and look at the menus.Â
It was a new restaurant in the area that has quickly gained popularity from their food and laid back ambiance. It was still fancier than most, but one you could definitely relax and enjoy your dinner in.Â
âYou have no idea how much I needed this.â You admit, sounding more than relieved to be here with him. âItâs been such a long week trying to get ahead with work just so I could take some extra days off for Yomi.âÂ
âI bet.â He chuckles. âHowâs work been for you?âÂ
âItâs doing good! I have 2 potential clients that reached out this month. I'm considering hiring an intern for extra help and to see what having an employee would be like.âÂ
âWhy an intern? Just so you can say goodbye without feeling bad if you end up not liking it?âÂ
âThatâs exactly why.â You laugh with him. âItâd be good for them too, theyâd be getting the experience and a nice letter of recommendation for wherever theyâd want to go next.âÂ
âThat would be good for them.â He agrees and takes a sip of his drink. Heâs a whiskey on the rocks kind of guy and you donât know how he does it. âI remember getting so stressed out trying to land a good internship while I was in college, I never want to go through that again.âÂ
âDid you end up getting a decent one?âÂ
âMore than decent, it was one of the top ten financial firms in the country.â He reveals, acting a little shy about it. âBut my manager was such a fucking dick.âÂ
âThat sucks, I'm sorry. I feel like itâs more common than not. I had 2 during college and 1 right after and they were all really rude. I just stuck through it to fluff up my resume.âÂ
âYeah, same hereââ
âHere you go, Sir.â A waitress ends up interrupting the conversation to drop off your plates. âAnd hereâs yours Maâam. Was there anything I could get you two before I step away?âÂ
âYeah, a refill on this please.â He says, sliding his empty glass over to her. âWant more wine?âÂ
âYeah sure.â You smile and slide the empty glass over to her. âSame as the last one please.âÂ
âOf course, Iâll be back with those shortly.âÂ
The rest of the dinner is kind of just thatâ small talk with some personal stories sprinkled into the mix.
You try not to talk about your daughter too much during dates. You make it known that she's your everything, but youâve found that itâs nice to take a break from talking about things like milestones and teething.
Or the crippling anxiety you get whenever you think about how dangerous the world can be, and that you can try your best to protect her from it, but youâll reach a time where you canât and that terrifies you.Â
But thatâs a conversation that you save for your family and therapist.Â
Suguru isnât the first guy youâve gone on dates with, but the one thing thatâs made him stand out from the others is how he doesnât seem to care that youâre a mom.Â
He knows youâre busy a lot of the time and isnât pushy when it comes to seeing you. Heâs never made any backhanded comments about your life being ruined, like a couple of men have said in the past. You also like that he asks questions about her and seems genuinely curious, instead of asking just to be nice.Â
Are you trying to find Sayomi a stepdad? Not really. Youâre just having fun. Going out on dates and having girls nights for a couple hours, 3-4 times a month has helped you feel like yourself again in a short amount of time.Â
Itâs not like you bring people home to meet your daughter, so there was no harm in having some nights out.Â
As you both begin to walk through the dining room, Suguru takes your hand in his and itâs oddly nice. Youâve slept with him a couple times before, but your internal reaction to something as innocent as having your hand held made you realize how touch starved you truly were.Â
But the night is young, youâll have time later to sulk about how lonely you feel sometimes.Â
The cold air immediately hits you when you two step outside. Springs deceiving as alwaysâ you find yourself sweating at some parts of the day, then barely able to talk from how violent you shiver at night.Â
Except the usual feeling of wanting to run into a car with a heater on full blast fades away when you get a glimpse of pink hair and mass walking up to you from the corner of your eye.Â
This man couldnât sneak up on anybody no matter how hard he tried.Â
The moment you turn to face him, you canât tell what heâs thinking. When he first saw you walking out of the restaurant, he wasnât quite sure if it was you or not.Â
He hasnât seen you dressed up in almost 2 years. The times that he actually has shouldnât even count since heâd rip the clothes right off of you, leaving you bare for him to enjoy.Â
Then you got a little closer. Instead of your words, he was able to hear only the sound of your voice. You obviously donât use it on him because you donât like him anymoreâ for whatever fucking reasonâ but you used to use that same exact tone with him.Â
He doesnât even completely realize what heâs doing until Yorozuâs following behind him, asking where heâs goingâ and he suddenly realizes heâs walking straight over to you.Â
Thereâs no plan in mind, thereâs barely any thoughts except for what are you doing here and who did you leave his little girl with.Â
âOh, Sukuna!â is all you can fucking come up with right now. You two obviously arenât together but you canât help but feel like you got caught doing something bad, especially with the way he was looking at you. âSurprised to see you here, have you been here befââ
âWhere the fuck is Sayomi?â He cuts you off with a question that sounded more like an accusation. He didnât even bother to introduce the woman heâs with or introduce himself to the man youâre with.Â
He doesn't give a fuck about either right now, all he can see right now is you as he began to seethe.
âAt home?â You let out a light laugh, mainly from how uncomfortable youâve become in record fucking time. He makes it seem like sheâs all alone at home or waiting in the car for you while you finish your date. âSheâs spending time with her grandparents right now.â
âWhy didnât you say anything?â He continues to question you, looking back at Suguru once before going back to glare at you. He takes a small step forward and Yorozu lightly wraps her hand around his arm, youâre not sure if itâs an attempt to calm him down or hold him back. âI thought you were with her this whole time.â
âI didnât know I had to.â You begin to defend yourself, but he just starts laughing, it makes it hard to continue speaking but you do anyway. People are starting to look and you donât need him to cause a scene. âAre you mad? Sheâs safe at home right now.â
âOf course Iâm fucking mad!â He begins to raise his voice, taking another step closer. âYou didnât fucking tell me other people were watching her tonight!â
âWhat do you mean other people?! Theyâre my parents!â
âThatâs not fucking point! I thought you were with her this entire time!â Thereâs a strain in his voice as he begins to fully unload on you, it causes Suguru to step forward and hold his arm out in front of you. He doesnât know what Sukunaâs like, you havenât given him too many details, but with the way Sukunaâs looking at you right now, heâs fully prepared to block him from getting to you.
Seeing that pisses off Sukuna even more.Â
âI donât see the fucking issue, Sukuna!â You throw your arms out in defeat, âI donât even see why I should be telling you where Iâm going.â
âBabe, it's okay.â Yorozu steps in and tries to get him to relax, he drank a little bit before coming here, he could do anything right now. âIâm sure Sayomiâs safe.â
âNo, noâ YOU DONâT FUCKING GET IT!â He suddenly snaps at her, before pointing his finger at you. âLetâs get one thing straight, I donât give a FUCK about what you do or where you go. What I care about is where MY DAUGHTER is and who sheâs with. This whole fucking time I thought she was with her mother! I donât care how simple it seems to you, I need to know that kind of shit!â
The whole streetâs looking at this point and you swear youâve never felt smaller. Sukuna continues to release years worth of anger on you, all while his girlfriend continues to try to soothe him while throwing little glares at you, and you just continue to shrink beside Suguru, who did not sign up for this shit tonight.Â
âJesus fucking christâ OKAY! Iâm sorry, Iâll fucking tell you next time!â You yell back. âI didnât think it was going to be a big deal.âÂ
âThatâs his daughter, of course itâs a big deal.â Yorozu says, backing him up. Your eyes almost widen in surpriseâ you werenât expecting her to say anything at all, now sheâs trying to make you look worse than he already is.Â
âI didnât mean it like that. Are you fucking serious right now?â You grimace and take a step forward, but you end up getting stopped by Suguru who still has his arm out in defense.Â
He wasnât planning on saying anything, letting the parents sort this through and all, but even he reached his breaking point after seeing that the girlfriend was ready to go at it with you. Sukuna didnât look like he was going to do anything about it anytime soon either.Â
âListen man.â Suguru turns to him, trying to sound as sincere as possible. âWe get where youâre coming from, we understand. I can promise you she didnât have any bad intentions behind this.â
Sukuna laughs then stares him dead in the eye, clearly not really to settle down just yet. âWho the fuck is we? âCause last time I checked, it was her that hid a child from me for almost an entire fucking year and I doubt anything like thatâs ever fucking happened to you. So tell me, do you actually fucking understand? NO.â He then turns back to you, âAnd now youâre keeping shit from me again, is this just who you fucking are?!âÂ
âNo itâs not! I already said it wouldnât happen again!â You cut him off in frustration and your eyes slowly become glossier and glossier. âI apologized, Sukuna! I donât know what else you want me to say.â
âIt sounds like youâre just trying to get him to shut up!â Yorozu says. âYou were defensive from the start and donât sound remorseful at all.âÂ
âHow do you expect me to act when it was him that immediately started attacking me?! He couldâve talked to me about this in private but he chose to yell at me in public.âÂ
âHe wasnât attacking you, he was worried about where his daughter was since you never told him you were leaving her with other people.â She refutes.Â
âOkay ms. Sukuna whisperer,â you mutter and laugh. She literally just repeated everything he said. âIâm sure heâs real worried from how heâs letting his fucking girlfriend fight in his place.âÂ
âIâm my own fuckinâ person, sweetheart.â He chuckles, âno oneâs fighting in my place.âÂ
âComing to your defense then.â You roll your eyes as you correct yourself. âSomething a grown fucking man does not need, yet here we are.âÂ
âThatâs what couples do.â He says bitterly.Â
âOh, Iâm sure. Tell me, do couples also blow up every others fucking phones when they donât get a text within 5 minutes?â
âOr how about that one time you wanted to spend the day with Yomi after she got her ears pierced and you couldnât because someone else was demanding your attention?â
âYou couldnât even use your phone because of how many calls you were getting back to back!â
Crickets.
âNothing? Okay! Iâll let you two go then, so you can enjoy being a normal couple.â The look you give Suguru immediately tells him that youâre ready to go and begins to step back, waiting for you to take the lead.Â
âBack to your boyfriend's house then, huh?â Sukuna continues to throw jabs, showing you once again that he just likes to fight.
You tried so hard to get away from him, so hard to avoid being on the receiving end of his anger, yet here you are. He doesnât even let you walk away.
You were fucked since the moment he laid his eyes on you.Â
You take one big deep breath, trying to get it together because Suguru had already seen enough. Sukuna and Yorozu have also had the pleasure of watching you lose your temper. The small attempt to calm yourself does nothing to soothe the burn in your eyes, you eventually blink away the tears that have slowly built up within the last 10 minutes and they steadily flow down your cheeks.
Fuck.Â
If only they knew this was all from frustration and not fear or remorse. You donât regret a thing you said.Â
âNo.â You finally respond to his question. âMy moodâs ruined and I donât feel like staying out and making it everyone else's problem, Iâm not like you.â
âSo now itâs my fault?â He asks, getting defensive all over again.Â
âNo.â Your voice slightly raises and you sniffle right after. âItâs mineâ I donât communicate enough, I hide things from you, I have the fucking audacity to defend myself when it comes to you. How dare I try to do that after all Iâve done to you?â
âYou know I didnât mean it like that.âÂ
âNo, I donât know, but I felt it.â Your voice slightly trembles. âYou take any chance you can get to remind me how much of a piece of shit I am. Sometimes I wonder what life wouldâve been like had I never left you and I donât think itâd be any different from this.â
You finally begin to walk away from the two, with Suguru following along. Sukuna tried to say some other things to you, but it was all muffled out. Maybe it was from some of the wine you drank, or maybe it was just the pent up frustration youâve been having since he came back into your life. Whatever it was, you didnât hear a word he said, nor did you care anymore at this point.Â
Suguru was the one that picked you up, but you decided to take an uber back home. The last thing you wanted to do was unpack everything that just happened on the car ride back. You were also just plain embarrassed, Suguru never knew about the full story of you hiding Yomi away from her father.Â
The birthday party was less than 24 hours away, you needed the time alone to relax and prepare yourself to deal with all the people that were attending it.
â
As expected, the morning was hectic. The planner and her assistants got to your house at 9:00 A.M sharp and got to work decorating the main areas of the house and backyard. You didnât even know what to expect, you told her to do whatever she pleased, so youâre in for just as much of a surprise as everyone else.Â
Your only job for today was getting Sayomi fed and dressed in her frilly little birthday dress. She seemed to love it with the way she kept grabbing at it and smiling, but she hated the matching headband. You didnât even bother putting it back on after she ripped it off, you ended up tying half of her hair up and adding a little accessory.Â
When you finally walk back down the stairs, everythingâs pretty much doneâ the balloon decorations, flower arrangements, snack tables, different food stations. You momentarily interrupt your moms conversation with her to quickly thank her for everything, god knows you could never transform a space the way she could.Â
You didnât even have the time for that.
The guests started rolling in at noon, with each person that arrived, the more you dreaded her Sukunaâs arrival. The good thing about him is that he doesnât seem to tell his family much about the tumultuous relationship youâve have the past three months, so youâre sure itâll be easier to act normal around him with his brothers and Yuki around.Â
The entire family shows up around 30 minutes after the party officially started and of course, your childâs father manages to steal all the attention.
Heâs tall and built to begin with, imagine all the looks he got when he stepped into your home with a white button up, rolled up at the sleeves and the top buttons undone to show off his chains. On top of that, his grey slacks were perfectly tailored and his hair was neatly styled. Youâd think it would all clash, but it somehow worked with his ear piercings and eyebrow slits.Â
You donât look for too long though, he was already getting enough attention from everyone else. You hardly acknowledge him at all, actually.Â
The first one to greet you was Yuji. The sweet boy was already bouncing off the walls, ready to go outside and play with the other kids. But he also had manners, making sure to give you and Yomi a hug and kiss on the cheek. Next were Jin, Choso, and Yuki, which you greeted and gave a hug to in that exact same order.Â
By the time you reached Yuki, Sukuna was looking at you expectantly, but you ended up turning back around and leading the three to where all the food was.
Peace doesnât exist though when you have a child, your sweet baby girl proved that to you within those 10 minutes.
âDada,â Yomi says to you and points at him, as youâre walking into the kitchen.Â
âYou wanna go to Dada?â You ask, moving some hair out of her face, not bothering to look up at him.Â
âMm.â She lightly nods, looking at Sukuna excitedly.Â
âOkay.â You smile before side eyeing the man. âHere.âÂ
Without protest, he takes her. Heâs honestly been waiting for you to hand her over, not completely sure if youâd say yes if he asked. He wasnât even sure if you were going to allow him to come after last night, but figured it was alright since you never texted him telling him to fuck off.Â
Sukuna spent the rest of the day being pulled away by a bunch of relatives and family friendsâ out of sight and mainly out of your mind. A lot of those who approached him tried to use the birthday girl as an excuse to go up to him, but you knew they just wanted to finally meet the mystery man that fathered her. A part of you wondered how some of those conversations went. The topic about who Sayomiâs father was is a topic that everyone avoided, even just asking about it was a big no-no. So you can imagine it to be a lot of mental gymnastics trying to talk about it, you never even gave people an explanation as to how or why heâs in her life now.Â
Itâs not until you have to sing Happy Birthday when you have to interact with him. You almost want to laugh when he turns the corner and you see how blissfully unaware your daughter is of what sheâs about to have to deal with.Â
You were able to set aside your differences for a minute when he also acknowledged how much she was going to hate this. She may not have reacted much on her actual birthday, but now sheâs essentially in a room filled with strangers.
âShould one of us hold her while they sing it?â He asks, lightly bouncing her in his arm as if getting her in the best mood would make her fall from grace less steep.Â
You shake your head, âthatâs never stopped her from having a meltdown.âÂ
âRight.âÂ
He cautiously set her down into the high chair, where thereâs a purple princess cake in front of her thatâs waiting to be lit. Sheâs fine at first, her attentionâs on the cake, not the crowd in front of her.Â
Itâs after only a few seconds of singing where she slowly drops her happy demeanor, her face turns into one youâd make if you were all alone in a room and something randomly moves.
Complete terror of the unknown.Â
The worst is when she looks at you or her dad, she thinks crying is going to get her out of this situation so her bottom lip starts to quiver the longer you two go without getting her the hell out of there.Â
Too bad Sukuna was determined to keep her in that goddamn chair, so he takes a little frosting off the top of the cake and quickly swipes it over her lips.Â
Usually sheâd be offended by something like that happening, but her mood quickly turns around when stops pouting and actually tries it. She eventually starts kicking her feet around and pointing at the dessert, asking for more.Â
Singing happy birthday was a success, it ended with Yomi clapping her hands along with everyone else while chewing on her newest favorite food.
You gave her all the time in the world to eat however much of it she wanted, you were taking pictures after and needed her to look as happy as possible.Â
And it all went fine, at least up until the very end. You were so worried about Sayomi this entire time that you never considered what were some of the things that couldâve gotten on your nerves today, aside from looking at Sukunaâs face.
âOkay, now letâs get a picture with both mom and dad!â Your dadâs sister, whoâs never once in her life been able to read a room, exclaims.Â
You try to look at anywhere else but Sukunaâs direction after hearing that, it was so painfully obvious to him, only because heâs the only one that knew about what went down last night.
After everything, he still wanted to take a photo together as a family, even though heâs starting to accept that the three of you will probably never truly be one, especially after what happened last night.
But still, he puts his pride aside.
âCâmere.â He murmurs, holding his arm out for you.Â
You obviously go up to him, not wanting to give away any signs that there were issues between you two, allowing him to pull you into his side and throw his free arm around you.Â
âHi mama!â Your daughter flashes you a dopey grinâ doesnât matter if she hasnât seen you in 2 minutes or 2 hours, sheâs been greeting you each time she sees you and it makes your heart melt.
She makes the picture taking a little better, sheâs more giddy than usual because of the sugar content that was in her cakeâ sheâs probably in outerspace right now. Hopefully her energy crash isnât that bad at bedtime, but itâs her birthday. Sheâll do it if she wants to.Â
Her pathetic father had some hopes that youâd rest your hand on his chest or something for the photoâ just seems kind of natural to do so, but you take your daughter's hand instead.Â
At least it made a cute photo. Sayomi will look back and never know just how cold and distant you felt in his arms at that moment.
â
The last people to leave your house are your parents. They love staying over and seeing Sayomi, but miss the peace and quiet of their own home, so they decided tonight's the night they finally go back home.Â
Is a two day stay a lot?Â
For them it is.
Itâs not something to take personally, if you absolutely needed them, theyâd be here for you in a heartbeat.Â
Itâs not until you walk into the cluttered kitchen and realized youâre not alone. You find Sukuna standing over the kitchen island, quietly trying to open a bottle of wine.
âDidnât know you were still here.â You mutter, taking his attention off the stubborn cork.Â
âProbably because you spent the whole day ignoring me.â He says while finally opening the damn thing. The roomâs quiet as he pours you a glass and slides it over to you. âCanât blame you though.âÂ
âYou sure? You donât seem to mind blaming me for everything else.â You say, taking a seat in front of him and pulling the wine glass closer to you. Youâre not even taking jabs at him anymore, you genuinely meant it, which makes him feel worse.
He doesnât respond to that out of guilt and leans forward on the counter. He doesnât even know where to start right now, he was an asshole to everyone last night. But if he were to be completely honest, he doesnât care much about how he made Suguru and Yorozu feel last night. He was out for blood the moment he saw you stepping out of the restaurant, he wouldâve snapped on anyone.Â
And since heâs being honest with himself right now, he wanted to hurt you. Right now heâs just trying to figure out if last night's anger was how he truly felt or if that was just his final straw to an already bad day.Â
He didnât even want to go out last, his girlfriend just wouldnât shut the fuck up about it. He was tired and wanted to rest up since he had planned on being here the entire day. Lately, Yorozuâs been taking his ânoâsâ as suggestions and itâs so much easier just giving in sometimes.Â
He glances at you and youâre already looking at him, raising your brows at him. He knows itâs your nonverbal way of saying âfucking get on with itâ.Â
âAfter missing all that time with YomiâŠâ He begins to explain himself, carefully choosing his words because he wants you to understand. Right now heâd rather you understand why he reacted that way he did, instead of forgiving him. âNot knowing whatâs going on with her triggers the fuck out of me. I donât know.. Iâ when I was getting ready to go out and on my way to the restaurant, I had this idea that you two were at home together and realizing I was wrong made me lose it. I trust your parents, but if you told me you were going out, I wouldâve cancelled my plans and hung out with her.â
âAre you saying you got mad because you got fomo?âÂ
He lightly chuckles at the word choice. âIt sounds so stupid when you break it down in your own words, but yeah, thatâs kinda what happened.â
âI donât think itâs stupid.â You assure him, itâs probably hard enough having to explain himself after the scene he caused. âI wouldâve asked, but you usually have date nights with Yorozu on Fridays, so I never thought to ask.âÂ
âIâd never choose a date night over spending time with Sayomi.â His voice drops an octave as says those words in all seriousness. âIâm also really sorry for the way she tried to get into our business like that.â
âCanât blame her, you made it her business the moment you decided you were going to call me out in front of her. Same with Suguru.âÂ
Fair enough.
âStill shouldnât have let her talk to you like that.â
âDid you even try to say something to her after I left?â You murmur, twisting the glass around by its stem. âOr does she think she can start arguing with me whenever we fight, because thatâs what couples do?â
âWe fought over that after you left.â He reveals, his expression grew a little more stressed as he continued. âI told her if she ever pulls some shit like that again, itâs over.âÂ
You were aware of how heated their arguments could get, so when he tells you theyâre bad, you donât take it lightly. You fully believe him when he says they stayed up until 1:00 am fighting over the fact that he never wanted her to speak to you like that again and how she constantly countered it by saying she was just defending him.
It barely got resolved, she just barely stopped arguing with him when he threatened to break up with her.Â
He was so fed up at the end that he even called her an uber home, all he wanted at that point was to be aloneâ his head hurt, voice all raspy from yelling too. Yet he stayed up for another hour or two just staring at the ceiling and listening to nothing but the faint breeze outside, wondering what the fuck was he even doing with his life.
You hum in response, youâre not sure if his threat is overkill or not, but it makes you feel slightly better. Enough to be okay with her meeting your daughter after a year? Nope.Â
âWell thanks, I guess.â You say nonetheless.Â
âYeahâŠâ He takes a deep breath. âI really am sorry. I can apologize to your date too if you want.âÂ
You almost laugh at the suggestion, he sounds so remorseful, itâs not very fitting of him. âNo needâ he ended things with me.â
His jaw might as well be on the floor from how shocked he is to hear that. âAre you fuckinâ serious?â
âMhm.â You say, letting how bad he fucked up sink in for him.
âFuck.â He puts his head down and lets out a low curse. âIâm so sorry⊠what did he say?â
âHe texted me when I got home, saying something along the lines of how my situation was a lot to handle, and that I deserved someone that didnât feel that way.â You finish the rest of the wine in the glass after saying that.Â
âAre you okay?â He asks, genuinely concerned. Heavy lids, brows slightly furrowed, he looks guilty as hell.
âHonestly⊠yeah. We only dated for three months, I only saw him a couple times a month too. I feel like he wouldâve seen something else anyways and backed out.â Youâd obviously like for Sukuna to feel bad about it for a while, but itâs the truth. You and Suguru wouldnât have worked out to begin with. When you two first started talking, he thought that Yomiâs dad was out of the pictureâ a lot has changed since then.Â
Then you bring in one of Sukunaâs record breaking meltdowns, you understand the guy.
Which also leads you to another thing.Â
âListen⊠youâre always going to have some sort of resentment towards me and I understand that.â You say, breaking the silence. âBut I donât want to spend the next seventeen years having you throw that in my face whenever I do something wrong. I think itâs time that we start thinking about splitting custody with her.â
You obviously havenât had enough time to think about it, but itâd be easy, especially with how she has her own room at his house now. Itâs not like he was bad at taking care of her anyways. If you stop breastfeeding her now, she could probably spend her weekends with him and be perfectly fine.
âWhat? No, I donât want that.â He immediately rejects the suggestion, slightly hurt over it. âI donât want to take her away from you, Iâd rather just visit when I can.âÂ
âAnd what if I donât want that?â You argue back. âThe last thing I want is for you to teach her that itâs okay to treat me like that. Iâll admit that what I did was a thousand times worse, but that doesnât mean you can treat me like a punching bag whenever you get triggered over something.â
âIâve never done any of that in front of her!â He tries to reason with you, but deep down he knows itâs not enough. Â
âThereâs always the possibility that you will. Look, Iâm trying to make it easier on all of us. If me not being around you helps you heal from all of this, then Iâm glad to do it.â You continue to explain, but it just falls on deaf ears.Â
Yeah, you two have your bad moments, but when itâs good, itâs really good. You two are able to laugh together, easily make decisions over Yomi together. He enjoys being with youâ the both of you.Â
âYou make it seem like I get pissed at the sight or thought of you, I donât! Last night was just a bad day, I didnât even want to go out in the first placeââÂ
You cut him off from going on a rant. âI obviously donât want you to have bad days, but thatâs not my problem, you canât just use that as fuel to lose your shit on me.â
âI know that.â He murmurs and sighs.Â
âAnd I know that you feel bad and mean it when you apologize, but you need to work on yourselfâ whether itâs therapy or making some other life change. I canât keep listening to you apologizing.âÂ
Therapy?Â
You see the weary look he gives you for bringing that up, but he canât even deny that itâs probably a good option at this point. He already had his own problems to begin with, having a child just makes it all worse. It doesnât matter how good he is to Sayomi either, sheâll grow up to see how mad he gets when things donât go his way, you donât want her learning from that.
âSo if I get therapy, youâllâŠâ He waits for you to finish the sentence.Â
âDo nothing. We can keep doing what we're doing. It works, I just canât have you treating me the way you did last night.â You lean back in the seat and cross your arms.Â
He apprehensively looks at you for a bit, not sure if youâre telling the truth. Youâre oddly calm for someone that just threatened to remove herself from his life if he didnât get help.
Heâd think youâd be a little bit more emotional about this, but then remembers youâre mentally and emotionally capable of leaving someone without a word.Â
âI did all my crying last night.â You say, he just realized heâd muttered that last sentence to himself.Â
âMâsorry about that too.â He easily apologizes again. âAbout all of it, I feel like a fuckinâ asshole.â
You look down at the empty wine glass, which he quickly fills up for you as a part of his final apology, and canât help but feel guilty at how much remorse heâs showing right now. Â
What are you so afraid of?Â
Itâs not like Iâd hide her away from you.
At least now.
But he doesnât know that, hiding her from him is all that he knows. If only you could be a little more selfless, allow him to make you feel the same way you made him feel at one point.Â
An eye for an eye.Â
You doubt itâd stop there, thereâd be no truceâ youâd destroy each other completely.
âTry not to be so hard on yourself.â You take another sip of the freshly filled glass, it makes looking him in the eye a little easier. âI made you this way.â
You absolutely fucking did, he refrains from saying and instead just looks at you back. Heâs recently come to realize that this is something you struggle with too, you donât say it but he sees it whenever heâs having a good time with Yomi. You look happy one minute, then the next you wipe the smile off your face. Itâs almost as if you donât allow yourself to have that experience with them, like you donât deserve it.Â
âWe just need to find a way to move on from it.â You say, wrapping up the last of the words you had for him.Â
âYouâre right.â Heâs been holding his breath enough that itâs shaky when he finally exhales. âIâll uhâ Iâll reach out to someone on Monday.â
âOkay.â It comes out so light, itâs almost a whisper. Itâs a hard conversation to have, you werenât expecting him to make it so easy. âCan I ask you something?â
Hearing the answer would probably make you feel worse, but itâs the one thing youâve always wanted to ask him.Â
âDoes it have something to do with when we were together?â
âYeah.âÂ
âItâs better if you donât ask, youâre hard enough on yourself as is.â He says, giving you back your own advice. You already know you caused enough pain by jumping to your own conclusions about him, hearing the truth from him was just unnecessary at this point. âHow were you supposed to know how I felt about you when I never told you?â
âI donât know.â
âExactly.â
The only times he's texted you back then were to see when youâd be free for him, you looked like a booty call on paper. It was stupid of him to think youâd stick around just because he was nice to you. He shouldâve taken you out more, called you when he had free time, let you know he missed you whenever you werenât around.Â
Itâs not that he was scared, he was just stupid. He genuinely thought youâd just feel it, but you clearly donât trust your gut. Heâll always wish he told you he loved you, heâd probably be getting ready to go to bed with you right now if he said it all that time ago.Â
He looks at his phone to check the time and realizes heâs overstayed his welcome. Not that heâs complaining, you two got somewhere from it. A mutual understanding almost. Maybe heâll finally be able to have his first decent night of sleep since he saw you at the park that day.
But who is he kidding?Â
Mutual understandings donât mean shit to a man that is unfortunately in love.Â
âDo you wanna sleep in the guest bedroom thatâs here downstairs?â You suddenly offer after seeing him check the time. He didnât live far, but itâd probably be nice if he skipped the driving for tonight.Â
âYou donât mind?â He asks, skimming through his missed texts.Â
âNo. Iâm sure Yomi would like seeing you in the morning too.â
He chuckles and puts his phone away. âIâd hope so.âÂ
He tried so hard to hate you, but the love heâs always had for you has sadly grown since being back in your life again.Â
And no, you donât try to deliberately hurt the people you love, like how he did last night. But like what you said, you made him this way, and now heâs stuck having to fix that part of himself.Â
Whatâs worse is heâs happy to do it if that means he gets to stay around you, because you will never be too much for him to handle. He chose the baby in a heartbeat, if only you knew heâd choose you just as fast too.
His phone buzzes again once heâs finally comfortable in the guest bedroom you offered him. For once, heâs not annoyed when he checks it.Â
[7:05 p.m] Yor: How did the birthday party go?Â
[8:45 p.m] Yor: Did she give you a hard time over what happened last night?
[8:50 p.m] Sukuna: No
[8:55 p.m] Yor: Thatâs good. Can I come over? I wanted to talk about yesterday.
[8:58 p.m] Sukuna: I wanna be alone rn. ill talk to you tomorrow
i just wanted to leave this here and the direct quote below for anyone thatâs a little confused/needs clarification on what sukuna got mad about during this chapter. he went almost a full year of not knowing he had a child, he has trauma from that. heâs fine with reader going out and doing whatever, he just wants to know where the baby is and who she left the baby with âŒïž
âAfter missing all that time with YomiâŠNot knowing whatâs going on with her triggers the fuck out of me. I donât know.. Iâ when I was getting ready to go out and on my way to the restaurant, I had this idea that you two were at home together and realizing I was wrong made me lose it.â
and also, read the warnings!!! the angst and toxic relationship warnings are there for a reason. i understand that itâs not for everyone, but donât make that my issue by coming up in my comments and announcing your departure đ

in which: megyn cuddle + annoying kuro
pairing: megumi x f!reader
masterlist
megumi was tired.
a long day of exercising curses, all he wanted in this moment was to collapse into bed and pull yn into his arms. no barking or whining, just wuiet.
but apparently that was too much to ask for.
because the moment he wrapped his arm around yns waist, the divine dog growled.
not a soft whine like when megumi didnt bring back treats, a warning growl.
megumis fingers barely touched yns hip again before the growl got louder. his brain took a second to process it before his face turned into a scowl.
he glanced down at the divine dog, who was currently trying to wedge itself between him and yn. its head pressed against yns stomach.
yn, meanwhile,. was sleeply giggling, her face buried against megumis chest.
megumi sighed. âdid you just growl at me, kuro?â
the dog did not blink or waver.
it stood its ground, its eyes sharp like megumi was an intruder in his own dorm.
yn lifted her head slightly, peekijg up at him. âtheyre just protective, megs.â
protective, against megumi. yns boyfriend. their summoner.
megumis eyes narrowed. âshes literally my girlfriendâ
the dog did not care. if anything, it pushed itself closer to yn, pressing its entire weight into them as if shielding her from megumi.
âyou cant be serious.â
yn reached down and scratched behind its ear. âits cute.â
âno, its not.â
it was annoying, he could barely touch his own girlfriend without his own technique getting in the way.
megumi stared down the dog with the most unimpressed look imaginable. which was reflected on the dog. âi summon you, you exist because of me. you should be on my side.â
the dog blinked. then had the audacity to turn its head away.
because megumi wasnt worth looking at.
megumi exhaled sharply. âfineâ
yn, still giggling, tilted her head. âare you pouting, megs?â
âno.â
megumi absolutely was pouting.
and it only got worse when kuro curled against yns stomach, blocking megumi from touching her.
yn ran her fingers through kuros fur. âguess you have to work for their trust, too.â
âi dont need their trust, i need my girlfriend back.â
kuro didnt move.
megumi sighed heavily, sinking deeper into the mattress. he should have desummoned the shikigami already, but he was too tired. instead he settled for grumbling under his breath.
reader reached out, gently running her fingers through megumis hair, scratching at the scalp. the tension in his shoulders giving away.
megumis eyelids drooped, huffing out a breath. âthis is so unfair.â
âyoure cute when your grumpy, megsâ
megumi grumbled something unintelligible before wrapping an arm around her backâand the dog growled again.
âoh my fucking gosh.â
"Chuuya soothing you during your period."
Quick, call 911? This art is so gorgeous, my brain just did a full system shutdown. I need a reboot!

BETWEEN FORMULAS, FLOWERS AND FEELINGS - SATORU GOJO
You are the imbalance in Satoruâs logical and rational reasoning.
pairing: nerd! gojo x student council president! reader
summary: being the student council president isnât the easiest job in the world. Itâs not like gojo â with his trademark glasses, his awkward smile hiding the most dangerous brain. because for him, he can resolve every problem, right? there is no formula that can escape his smart mind. not even you. so when he accepts to tutor you, could he really be sure feelings wonât become a new variable?

Ever since he was little, Satoru Gojo seemed to have been blessed with knowledge.
His very first Christmas toy â when he was finally old enough to have one â was a huge playset containing chemical transformation recipes to prepare by himself, using a handful of formulas and calculations.
When he turned ten, his parents gifted him a kit that allowed him to build his own electric train circuit, which he had to assemble using physics methods so that real electricity could power his trains â and sometimes even his cars.
By the time he reached middle school, scientific subjects like physics and chemistry became his second mother. Nothing escaped him. Formulas, molecular mechanisms, and chemical transformations held no secrets. This passion for complex methods shaped his logic.
For every problem, Satoru always found a solution. To him, the world was nothing but a set of solvable scientific probabilities, where nothing could slip through his grasp.
But growing up with barely controllable hormones⊠poor Satoru had experienced firsthand just how bitter that could taste, even at university.
The first time he asked a girl from his middle school to go out with him in his third year, Satoru never would have thought sheâd laugh right in his face before calling him a useless nerd.
He didnât let anything show. And yet, it was from that very day that Satoruâs glasses, his passion for science, and his own self-confidence betrayed him.
He decided to give up on feelings â classifying them as a deceitful, unscientific belief with a complete lack of logic, something better suited for grotesque purposes like the movies or romantic TV series that entertained uncultured people.
Satoru didnât need emotions when logic always prevailed, never once disappointing him.
But upon entering university, he could never understand why â despite his silence and absolute discretion, buried in his studies â his cerulean blue eyes always seemed to find their way back to you.
You were the student council president of the school. Known for your upright mind, flawless organization, and a sense of justice so firm it sometimes bordered on harshness.
You had no time for anyone. You spent your days planning university events without wasting a single second â a notebook always pressed against your chest, and occasionally, a pair of glasses perched on your nose during intense activities like studying for exams or arranging event halls, which were regularly occupied by you and your staff.
What intrigued Satoru the most about you was your logic.
You planned everything, organized everything, all while maintaining grades nearly as excellent as his. You never wasted time hanging around with those ridiculous girls who would likely reject him if he ever dared to speak to them, and he had already admire witnessed you standing up for people like him â those trapped in their introversion and buried in their books â refusing to tolerate the injustice caused by the schoolâs most popular students.
A deep respect radiated from you.
Something Satoru refused to admit. Even though he knew you could short-circuit his brain in an instant.
Like that time when you had asked him for a pen at the library during your study session because he wasnât far from your table. His face had turned crimson, and he could have sworn smoke was coming out of his ears. His mouth â so used to speaking with precision and efficiency â completely failed him in front of you.
The words got stuck in his throat, and the few sounds that miraculously managed to escape were nothing but incomprehensible stutters, earning him a confused frown from you.
In the end, he gave up on any attempt at conversation and simply handed you the best pen in his pencil case â his favorite. And he had almost silently prayed in his head that you would forget to return it so that you would keep it with you.
And he hated that.
This power you had over him â the way you made him nervous, shy, and desperate for you.
Just like in middle school.
Something he had sworn to leave behind.
~~~~
âNO, NO, AND NO!â
The event hall falls into a deathly silence as you shout your words with such force and vehemence that your fists crush the few sheets of paper still clutched between your tense fingers.
No one dares to move anymore â a part of the staff is busy moving boxes of decorations, two others are handing you papers to sign, some are hovering around you with questions, and others are amusing themselves by climbing ladders to place Christmas decorations â as if your scream alone has just pierced through the entire university.
With your jaw clenched, a vein pulsing at your temple, your cheeks flushed with anger, and your throat slightly irritated, you struggle to breathe as all attention shifts onto you.
âI said I havenât decided on the organization of the Spring Formal yet, that nothing is supposed to be taken out, signed, or even requested until Iâve given the order, so what the fuck are you all doing here?!â you exclaim.
You push past the students in your way and snap your fingers at the two idiots fooling around with the decorations.
âYou two â youâre fired.â
Then, you turn to the rest of the group handling the boxes. âIf you donât want to be fired too, hurry up and put that away!â Next, to the members waiting for you to sign papers. âOut!â
As the room empties in silence, filled with sulky and terrified faces at the thought of dealing with you, you take a deep breath before crouching down to the floor, burying your face between your knees, your arms trembling.
There isnât much time left.
Director Yaga has given you a deadline to organize the Spring Formal, leaving you in charge of the theme, the venue, and the entertainment.
But, for the first time in your role, you are literally overwhelmed.
For the first time as well, no inspiration comes to you. The stress of classes, exams happening at the same time as the event date, your poor grades lately, and the pressure your team keeps adding on top of all thatâat some point, you were bound to explode.
With all of this piling up, how are you supposed to manage?
Thatâs exactly what you asked yourself during your class that very afternoon, staring at your 40/100 in quantum physics.
With your heart sinking into your stomach, you hastily shove the paper into your bag, not caring in the slightest if it gets crumpled.
No one must see that the student council president allows herself to yell at her team while having such catastrophic grades. But your overloaded schedule no longer allows you to focus on your studies alone â how can you concentrate and stay organized when all you want to do is throw yourself out the window?
~~~~
âYou need to register to require a tutor.â
âBut I donât need one.â
The male student raises an eyebrow. âSo what are you doing here?â
You scoff. How dare he talk to you like that?
Youâre in the library, one of the most soothing and stressful places in the world. Youâve had to find a way to get your grades up while you sort out your problem with Spring Formal, but in the meantime, you need to find a student who can tutor you without anyone knowing.
So what better way to find out than from the librarianâs assistant â who is also one of the Tutoring Centerâs organizers?
âI need to know whoâs the top student in quantum physics here,â you insist with a firmer tone.
Forgetting youâre at the entrance to the library, you purse your lips, a little embarrassed.
âWe donât have âtop studentsâ, prez,â he replies with a bitter smile â ah, so he knows who you are.
âSo how do you help the students?â you ask with almost indignation.
He shrugs. âIf you need helpââ
âI do not,â you cut him off coldly, cheeks on fire as you adjust your bag over your shoulder. You sigh in annoyance at the studentâs lack of efficiency.
âThen, how can I help you?â He gives you the most impertinent smile in the world, as if heâs just waiting for you to get the hell out.
You tuck a stray lock of your hair back behind your ear before rolling your eyes. âI need to talk to a top student in quantum physics, thatâs all.â
The student looks at his fingernails as if they're the most important thing in the world and mimes huffing. âWe donât have any.â He looks up at you. âIf youâre looking for one, thereâs a nerd whoâs the best in his class.â
Curiosity pricks the back of your neck, causing you to sit up straight. âWho?â
âGojo, I think,â he said, frowning as if to remember his name. âSato-thing, if I remember. Anyway, a nerd. You should know him, I guess.â
You shake your head, eyes almost squinting as you seek the memory of a Gojo name. But nothing comes to mind. So you shrug.
âWhat does he look like?â
âAlbino. Blue eyes, nerd glasses, always dressed in a sweatshirt or shirt and he always has a book under his arm.â
âAll right, thanks.â
Then you hurry out of the library and its oppressive walls, leaving the assistant to sigh with relief â as much as you do.
~~~~
âSo, you are⊠Gojo Sato-thing?â
He has a little disappointed smile. âSatoru Gojo, prez.â With a nervous gesture, he places the strap of his shoulder bag back on his shoulder and adjusts his glasses, which slide down his nose.
You stare at him motionless for a few seconds, speechless at the all-too-perfect likeness of the Tutoring Center managerâs description. Heâs got a book under his arm, a Digimon t-shirt over a dark blue plaid shirt and an innocent look on his face â he really wasnât wrong.
You blink. âUm⊠yeah. Whatever.â
You check that no one in the corridor of the quantum physics wing has left any students lying around who might surprise you with him, then let out an exhausted exhale.
Faced with his 6'3, you owe it to yourself to raise your eyes and chin a little higher.
âI need your help. You're the best physics student in the class, right?â
He turns the toe of his shoe as a tic on the floor and nods imperceptibly.
âPerfect. Iâve got a little problem right now andââ
âDo you need me to do an assignment for you?â he says almost as if trying to divine your thoughts â is that hope you see in his eyes?
âNo.â You knit your brows. âIâm having a problem with my grades and Iâm swamped with my event responsibilities and I'm starting to get grades...â You chew the inside of your cheek to hide your pride before muttering, â...pretty bad. And I donât feel like being given help publicly.â
In his confused expression, you add, âOtherwise it would be a real shame...â
From his height, Satoruâs shyness almost flies away in a gust. Heâs got you there at last. In front of him. Talking about something. Like a dream come true â a reality where he no longer knows what his name is but whatever.
He even perceives a blushing creeping up your cheeks as you drift your gaze a little lower to your own shoes and your lips crumple into an adorably embarrassed and frustrated little pout.
Then of course heâll help you.
He would give you more if he could, and he promises to himself heâll do it.
âSo you need me as your secret tutor?â he clarifies so softly.
You look up at him, clearing your throat. âBasically⊠yeah.â
âFine. I can do that.â A small smile spreads across his pink lips and he digs his hands into his jeans, which are a little baggy for him.
You flicker your eyes, confusion animating your features. âIs that all?â
âDo you need anything else?â And youâd have sworn you saw hope still shining in his ocean-blue irises.
âWhat? No,â you retort incredulously. âBut donât you need something in return? Like, money or something?â
â...No,â he exhales, reducing his smile â though it still lingers. âI donât mind helping you. Just give me your free hours so we can set a date. If thatâs okay with you, of course,â he hastens to add, as if afraid of upsetting you.
Your lips part slightly. âO-Okay,â you finally say. âIâd like to do this as soon as possible.â
âHow about today?â Satoru suggests, with a little more enthusiasm than he had anticipated himself. âOr even now, if you want.â
âNow?â
âYeah,â he says with a happy nod.
âDonât you think itâs a bit too earlââ
Barely ten minutes later, you find yourself sitting next to him once again in the library, which, for once, is not too crowded, pretending to have a casual conversation while, in reality, he is analyzing your failed test papers with an expert eye.
One elbow resting on the polished wooden table, one hand holding one of your sheets between his fingers, and the other with his index and thumb supporting his chin, Satoru lets his gaze travel line by line over your flawless handwritingâso much so that he forgets heâs supposed to be concentrating on helping you.
And not on the pretty way you write the letter âS,â wondering how close heâd be to a cardiac arrest if he ever saw his name written by your hand.
When he finally manages to analyze the mistakes on your paper, Satoru straightens slightly in his seat, adjusting the collar of his unbuttoned shirt that suddenly seems to be strangling him with an invisible noose, despite his neck remaining completely free. His heart pounds at the speed of light â almost literally.
Calculations and formulas have always been childâs play for Satoru; his brain has always been wired for logic, rationality, and the addictive thrill of adrenaline coursing through his veins when he makes a new discovery, a new analysis that falls perfectly into place â like completing a puzzle and watching it come to life, or like a house of cards standing strong until the slightest imbalance brings it all crashing down.
You are the imbalance in Satoruâs logical and rational reasoning.
For Satoru, love is not a science. Itâs just hormones that one must learn to control and not be fooled by.
And yet, even though he has devoted his body and soul to science, his heart will never cease to be yours â under your implacable and irrevocable hold.
Even with all the scientific weapons in the world, he will always be powerless before you.
With a flutter of snowy lashes, he returns to reality, setting his gaze on yours; persistent, waiting for him to say something, to give some kind of critique.
His mouth goes dry, heat rushes to his cheeks as he clears his throat, embarrassed.
âWell, uh... I guess we can start revisiting the notion of The Uncertainty Principle, if thatâs okay with you.â He gives you a quick glance so unconfident that you restrain yourself from doing what you're thinking of: ripping off his adorable cheeks â adorable? Since when do you find nerds adorable?
âOkay,â you say, pulling a draft sheet closer.
As you move your chair closer to his to concentrate better thanks to the proximity, the effect is quite the opposite on poor Satoru. He nearly loses all composure when his trembling fingers close around his pencil.
âW-Well⊠Um, do you want me to give you a quick lesson on this again? You didnât seem to grasp much of the concept.â
âIf you can use simple wordsâŠâ you mumble without much hope.
He swallows hard before explaining, âA rule in quantum physics says: you canât know both the exact position and momentum of a particle at the same time. The more you know about one, the less you know about the other. Got it?â
You squint, uncertain, as you rest your chin in the hollow of your palm. âMh-hmmâŠâ
âSo,â he draws two Delta symbols, each followed by an x and a p, then an equal sign, âthis one represents the uncertainty in position while the other represents the uncertainty in momentum.â He leans slightly forward to clearly define the terms for you before breaking down the formula, trying not to sweat under the ghost of your breath caressing his hand because of how close you are.
âOkay. I donât think I quite got all that.â
âItâs okay,â Satoru replies with a slight smile as he adjusts his glasses on his nose before returning to the sheet. âYou confused uncertainty with actual errors in measurement, and you tried to calculate exact values for both position & momentum, which isnât possible.â He draws an example of throwing a ball vs. tracking an electron. âYou canât pin down a quantum particle perfectly â itâs like me trying to figure out what youâre thinking all the time. Impossible, right?â
â...Right.â
âYou donât understand anything, right?â he sighs, a slight frown curling his lips.
âHonestly? Not a word,â you chuckle, a soft, honest melody that caresses his ears.
âLetâs make it more real for you, prez, then,â he snorts too, wiping away a big smile that deepens his dimples. âImagine youâre running around campus planning this big Spring Formal thing. If I try to track exactly where you are at one moment, I have no clue where youâll be the next second. But if I focus on how fast youâre moving between meetings, I can guess youâll end up in the library⊠but I wonât know the exact second you get there. Thatâs basically the Uncertainty Principle â canât have both at the same time.â
âOhhhh, okay!â you say, a light illuminating your face. But a second later, your features drop. âBut, wait⊠that doesnât make sense. If we have better tools, we can just measure both, right?â
He chuckles softly. âNope. Even if we had the best measuring tools in the universe, the universe itself wonât let us know both at the same time. Itâs not a technology problem â itâs just how nature works.â
You groan, frustrated, and slump over your notes. âPhysics is pain.â
He shakes his head, a lighter smile blooming on his lips. âYouâll get it, I promise. You just need time⊠and a good tutor.â
âYou?â You snicker, but not meanly â just teasing him in this mood that feels so comfortable with him, something you never thought youâd experience. âYouâre losing me more than I was before.â
You both sigh after a while, and he gives you a practice exercise, which you rush to complete so he can correct it.
For the first time in maybe weeks, or even months, you havenât felt this light. Quantum physics has always been a difficult challenge to overcome, despite your habit of planning everything to avoid stress. But sometimes, doing everything alone has led you to not ask for help when you needed it the most.
So when someone reached out and showed you how relieving some of that weight could feel, the sensation sparked a desire in you â one that didnât want this to end.
But youâre afraid it will make you dependent.
So itâs best not to get too attached, right?
~~~~
The following week, even though your understanding of quantum physics has somewhat improved, your stress refuses to do anything but skyrocket toward a full-blown anxiety attack.
Principal Yaga summoned you to his office because some students â the two you expelled last week â went to complain about your nervous and excessive behavior, claiming it warranted psychological support.
Outraged, you defended yourself by pointing out the inefficiency of your team, who fail to meet your needs without considering the mental load that comes with your responsibility as the student council president. And yet, that wasnât enough to calm Yaga, who dismissed you with a stern reminder that if you donât finalize the Spring Formal preparations soon, he wonât hesitate to replace you with a more competent organizer.
The mere thought â no, the haunting fearâof being replaced like a cheap supermarket doll plagues your nights with nightmares.
So, the obvious anxiety growing inside you bleeds into the most crucial moments â the moments when youâre supposed to stay focused instead of silently wallowing in your situation.
âNeed help, prez?â
Ripped from your daze, you lift your gaze to the voice beside you, only now realizing that heâs been sitting next to you since the start of the lecture â completely unnoticed, completely ignored.
Itâs Satoru, his laptop open in front of him, a small, friendly smile turned toward youâand only you. That tiny detail sends a strange, foreign wave through your stomach â not unpleasant, though.
âOh, youâre here,â you mumble, turning your attention back to the professor.
âSince the very start, yes,â he replies, his voice softer now, tinged with a faint hint of disappointment as he twirls his pencil between his long, nimble fingers.
A silence settles between you, neither of you seeming inclined to break it.
In the lecture hall, only the sound of keyboards clicking and the amplified voice of the professor fill the large room. You try your best to follow along, scribbling notes as diligently as you can, but at this point, it feels like trying to form words by randomly pressing keys â you understand nothing.
âNeed help?â
You slowly lift your head toward the familiar voice.
âYou can explain it to me later, you know?â you mutter, careful not to let anyone else overhear your conversation â it could cost you.
âAnd we could save time by explaining it now.â His tone is soft, rational, kind, altruistic â every synonym that embodies maturity and gentle responsibility.
Heâs made of sugar. Just for you.
You sigh, finally giving in with a nod, as Satoru flips his laptop into tablet mode to explain the purpose of the chapter â the name of which youâve only just learned, despite an hour and a half of lecture on Wave-Particle Duality.
âSo,â he says, writing the formula on his tablet with a stylus. âThe general concept is quite easy. Quantum objects â like electrons â can act as both particles and waves, okay?â
You nod, leaning in closer to his shoulder to observe the definitions of the formulaâs terms â a faint scent brushes against your senses. Clean laundry and a subtle drop of cologne. The scent imprints itself in your lungs pleasantly enough that you have to mentally slap yourself to keep from getting distracted from Satoruâs explanations.
He glances at you with those sharp blue eyes and raises an eyebrow. âYou know what wavelength means?â
âItâs just for light, right?â
He snorts quietly. âParticles.â
âOh.â
He holds back another laugh and continues his explanations.
Several minutes later, you find your eyes glued â no, entranced â by Satoru, this nerd with glasses that hide a brain far too brilliant for you. Maybe even for the entire university.
You notice it in everything he does â setting aside his physical appearance, which youâre starting to find cuter and cuter without even realizing it â every cell of his body breathes science, logic, the thirst for discovery. His brain analyzes every possibility, his fingers manipulate rationality, and his glasses help him weigh the pros and cons. His long, straight nose gives him an infallible instinct, a sixth sense that never fails, and his smile â his pretty, thin, pink lipsâilluminate hypotheses with a dangerously innocent charm.
But he himself doesnât even realize it.
âSee? Itâs like⊠imagine if you could be both a super serious president and a total mess at physics at the same time. Oh wait â thatâs already happening,â he teases, a playful, cute smile blooming on his lips as he glances at you with sparkles in his eyes.
Oh, that damn smile.
And without meaning to, you join in his laughter, covering your mouth with your palm so as not to be heard as, for the first time in weeks, a weight is lifted from your shoulders. The little analogy that might have irritated you a few days ago seems silly to you. Why do it when heâs here?
The bell rings, announcing the end of class, and the hubbub of the students urges you to put your things away as much as possible before the teacher gives you more homework than you already have just to understand the lecture.
With your bag slung over your shoulder, you make your way towards the exit, at the end of the herd of students who have made you lose sight of Satoru. A little disappointment contracts your heart, but after all, why should he be waiting for you? There was no need. Youâre not friends. Just two students who are nice to each other (well, mostly Satoru).
So as you walk out of the lecture hall, you almost come face to face with a 6â3. Your nose collides painfully with a hard, bumpy surface â wait, of abs?
Impossible.
A hand much larger than yours wraps around your elbow to steady you and meets your eyes down on your wincing face.
âOops, sorry,â Satoru apologizes as his smile evaporates. âAre you okay? I just wanted to wait for you.â
Was it abs?
âNo worries, I'm fine,â you assure with a smile as self-conscious as it is forced, one hand rubbing your sore nose. âThat's sweet.â Then you look away to calm the blush that spreads like a puddle from your neck to your scalp and pray it's unseen.
âYou sure?â he insists with a concerned frown.
â...Sure.â
Once your face has cooled, your eyes stare at the spot on his torso where your nose collided. That flat spot under the shirt that appears a little less to you now, seen up close. It's as if with every swell of his breath, you can see the beginnings of an abdominal bulge, but you shake your head to get this far-fetched idea out of your head.
Letting your hand fall back, you offer him a more confident smile and lead the way. âShall we?â
With a slower nod, he follows you.
To bridge the silence between the two of you in the deserted corridors, you nudge him in the ribs and say, âYou know, I still donât get how you find physics fun.â
He feigns pain and smirks â does he only smile when heâs with you?
âI donât find it fun, strictly speaking, but really very interesting. At least, enough to make me face my major.â He pauses to give you a teasing look. âAnd I still donât get how you survive on four hours of sleep.â
âI am a vampire,â you grin stupidly, âI love working at night. I feel productive.â
âI see that. Your bags speak for you,â he chortles.
âFor real?â you mouth, running your fingers over your dark circles as if to check his words when it makes more sense to look in the mirror rather than feel you up.
âJust joking,â he murmurs, dropping his gaze on the floor a second before looking up back at you. âBut you seem very stressed lately, am I wrong?â
You donât answer right away, reluctant to tell him about your doubts and whatâs been bothering you for weeks. But you can. This is just two friends from the same quantum physics class strolling around campus at the end of a long day, isnât it?
But maybe not close enough for him to be really interested in you? Maybe heâs just asking questions out of politeness and not out of any real concern for you. After all, youâre not really close.
âIt's alright, just uni and student council stuff, as always,â you murmur with averted eyes. âWe also need to plan our next tutoring session.â
âYeah...â Satoru shoves his hands in his pockets and lets silence fill the gap between the two of you before resuming. âMaybe we could do it somewhere else this time, couldnât we?â he offers without much hope in his voice.
You knit your brows. âWhat?â
âI mean... do youâuh, never mind.â
You raise an eyebrow. âHuh?â
He seems to chicken out and look away but you catch it before he could hide it â the tips of his ears are red.
âNothing. Just... youâre really into this whole Spring Formal thing, huh?â he mumbles.
âOf course. I have a lot of work to do on it. But what were you asking me?â you insist with a softer tone and your hand wrapping around his arm â remarkably built, you note internally.
He finally twists his neck toward you to face you, lips pursed into a conflicted pout.
âYouâre going to refuse.â
âYou didnât even try to ask,â you almost in a mid gasp and chuckle.
He runs a hand through his tousled snowy hair, then slips it around the back of his neck, rubbing it like a nervous tic. âI see that youâre stressed â even if you deny it. So would you accept to... maybe do work on our tutoring lessons in a better place?â He panics slightly under your unfathomable gaze, just waiting for the next part of his words. âI mean... I know a place where it could be less stressful and more relaxing because you deserve it... But of course,â he adds hastily, âit doesnât commit you to anything and you donât have to accept and we can totally carry on doing it at the library because really itâs just a stupid idea and I should just keep my mouth shutââ
âSatoru.â
His heart stops beating and he thinks his brain has short-circuited as he realizes itâs the first time you've said his first name in that tone.
Softly, reassuringly, and with obvious joy.
âOf course Iâd like to work with you somewhere else. It means a lot to me that you thought of me like that,â you say softly as you stop in front of some stairs so you can look him straight in the eye. âI can give you my phone number and youâll just have to send me the address, howâs that?â
Okay. His brain really has just short-circuited.
He doesnât even remember how he managed to hand you his phone and record your number, wish you a good evening and return to his dormitory after being subjected to your beaming smile â of a particular radiance heâs never seen before on your face in all the time, however long, heâs spent gazing at you wherever you are â radiant even.
Lying on his bed, he stares at the ceiling. The silent night allows his thoughts to grow louder, as if several were trying to express themselves at once.
However, one image takes root in his eyelids when he closes them before sleeping.
You.
~~~~
âYou shouldnât have.â
âDo you really need to make this even more embarrassing?â
You shake your head. âItâs not fair.â
His features sag, and he lets out a tiny sigh. âJust please, accept it. I made it for you.â
At your feet lies a picnic blanket with red and white checkered patterns. On top of it are homemade sandwiches, cans of fruit juice, berries, cakes, and even a tub of ice cream resting inside a mini cooler. Satoru has even arranged the space to avoid a chaotic mess while working and has brought ultra-comfortable cushions to make the tutoring session as pleasant as possible.
He canât do this.
Not with you, who arrived at the quiet, sparsely crowded city park, right under the most magnificent Japanese cherry blossom tree.
The cool breeze blows gently around you both, sweeping away a few strands of your hair that youâre forced to tuck behind your ears.
âSit your ass down,â Satoru mumbles, looking away to hide an obvious embarrassment, though his hand pats the empty space he left just for you.
So, reluctantly, you sit cross-legged, grabbing a random sandwich â just so he wonât sulk â and try not to cry because itâs so ridiculously delicious. The berries couldnât be fresher or juicier than any youâve ever tasted, and not to mention the cakes he brought. The majority of the food is sweet â his sweet tooth showing up a little too obviously.
âHope it tastes good,â he adds, his lips forming a slight pout.
âNever ate something that good,â you respond, mouth full of food. âYouâre an angel.â
The word makes him freeze for a solid thirty seconds before he shakes his head and lets his gaze drift away â always avoiding â toward the nearby lake.
The ground is sprinkled with pale pink petals, blending into the vibrant green grass of this March afternoon. A few birds chirp in the distance, hardly anyone comes near your secluded spot, and the peaceful silence reigning over the park creates the perfect environment for getting work done.
Swallowing his own mochi, Satoru watches you take out your notes on the latest physics chapter, and instead of sitting across from you, he allows himself to settle beside you this time â without you pulling away.
He was hesitant from the start and may never be able to stop feeling nervous around you. No matter how often heâs around you or how much more familiar he grows with your presence, he canât control those sudden spikes of nervousness that hit when heâs already comfortable â only for one small action or movement to give his poor little heart a crisis.
You hand him the exercises you worked on last night, and while he reviews them, you take out your planner and notepad â the ones you carry everywhere (even to bed and the bathroom)âto go over the organization of the upcoming Spring Formal.
An event thatâs happening soon. An event with absolutely nothing planned yet.
You quietly jot down notes on possible themes, but after another glance at the endless, sprawling branches of the massive cherry tree, you sigh and toss your notepad aside onto the picnic blanket. No ideas in sight. You have no choice but to admit your incompetence. Your failure is inevitable.
âHere.â Satoru hands you back your corrected exercises, and you quickly scan through them.
Since the beginning of your sessions with him, you have to admit â youâve improved.
This time, there are fewer scribbles and corrections from Satoru. Your formulas and applications are more precise, clearer, and better developed. All thanks to your hard work and Satoruâs expert guidance â the science genius himself.
There are still some non-negligible mistakes to fix, but at least the encouraging smile from your tutor warms your chest, silently telling you that youâre on the right track.
âThis is really not bad,â he murmurs softly near your shoulder. âYouâre seriously improving.â
âThanks to my good tutor,â you reply, nudging him playfully with your elbow.
âWhat flattery. I donât deserve this much.â Yet his so-called humility is betrayed by the deep red blush dusting his ears.
âQuite the opposite. I wish I could pay you back somehow.â
âYou donât need to. I told you it was my pleasure to help you.â
âAnd I feel bad about it,â you confess in a whisper.
âDonât,â he insists â and dares to wrap his slightly trembling, warm hand over yours on the blanket.
Your heart flutters, like a butterfly trying to take flight, only to be tossed around by the wind.
âThank you,â you whisper, with more honesty than youâve ever given anyone.
âFor being a good friend? Donât worry, Iâm glad to have you as well, honestly,â he murmurs back, punctuating his words with a light squeeze of your hand.
âAnd Iââ he clears his throat, â...really appreciate you.â
Friends. Appreciate you.
âI appreciate you too. Really. Iâm sorry if I mess up every move you try with me to help me,â you add with an apologetic smile. âStress always ruins my life.â
âI told you that you couldn't deny it.â He raises his eyebrows and lift up an uncertain arm â seeing you not reacting has reassured him enough to pluck up the courage to pass it around you to console you. âTell me whatâs wrong.â
You let yourself go against him, burying half your face against him. âIâm in deep shit about organizing the Spring Formal. I havenât prepared anything, I have no idea, and yet Iâve got plenty to do. Mr. Yaga warned me that he might replace me if I went on like this, and I feel like everythingâs going to shit,â you say in a breath, a tiny barrier of vulnerability cracking.
His arm tightens in an attempt at comfort. He nods slowly, inhaling long breaths of fresh air before making a clicking sound with his tongue.
âWhereâs your notepad?â
You hand it to him without protest, and he immediately grabs it and flips through it. Then, when he finds a blank page, he grabs a pen lying near the two of you and jots down a few sentences, the words of which you can only read when he hands you the notebook.
âAn alignment of the planets?â You raise a curious, surprised eyebrow.
He nods with his chin and sketches a smile.
âIt only happens in spring, practically. And there will be one before long.â He squeezes his arm around you again and chuckles. âA theme about planets might be nice, donât you think?â
Lips parted, you gaze into the azure sky. Himself a little disarmed by your lack of reaction, he frowns without giving up his smile and softly pronounces your first name.
With zero control over your movements, thereâs nothing to stop your lips from pressing tenderly against Satoruâs smooth, soft cheek â a firm but gentle kiss leaving an invisible, indelible trace on his radiant skin as you pull away to look into his eyes again.
âYou're an angel,â you repeat a second time.
Well, the second time too, when Satoruâs heart, no longer knowing how to beat, simply stops beating.
~~~~
âMove them a little more to the rightâ Yes, thatâs perfect.â
Your trusty notepad clutched against your chest, you admire the preparations unfolding in the venue for the upcoming Spring Formal, where the theme of planetary alignment is set to make this yearâs university event truly unforgettable.
Finally, youâre no longer spending your time yelling at your team and barking orders fueled by the vibrant sparks of your stress. Instead, youâre giving clear instructions, each one accompanied by an encouraging smile for everyone.
âMaybe we could add midnight blue velvet curtains,â Satoru suggests, leaning over your shoulder, his chest brushing pleasantly against your back as he glances at the list of missing decoration orders. âWe could stick fake stars on them, and itâll draw more attention to the planets. What do you think?â
âI like the idea,â you giggle, despite the way your insides somersault when his warm breath grazes your ear, sending waves of goosebumps down your skin. You jot down a few notes as Satoru leans in even closer, gently resting his chin on your shoulder. âNot surprising, coming from the quantum physics genius of the entire university.â
Even though thereâs nothing official between you â not if you ignore the feelings and trust that make Satoru more confident and relaxed in your presence â nor any concrete relationship, the warm intimacy settling between you two is anything but uncomfortable.
Itâs like a mutual friendship, fully acknowledged by both of you, yet intertwined with threads of love left unspoken â often betrayed by moments of closeness like this one.
âYouâre gonna make me blush again,â he admits with a light laugh, soft and delicate as a cherry blossom petal.
âOh yeah?â You turn your head toward his â just enough for your faces to be so close that the tips of your noses brush. âWhy?â
He sighs, fluttering his eyes closed for a brief moment before opening them again. âYou know whyâŠâ
âIâm clueless when it comes to guessing thoughts, my hot nerd tutor,â you coo, a little grin spreading across your lips â those same lips he wanted to kiss until he couldnât breathe anymore for the rest of his life.
âMaybe I could show you, then.â And gently, he places his hands around your waist, an easy, soothing smile on his face. âIs that okay if I do that?â After your nod, his smile grows even wider. âAlso, could we do our next session at my place? I canât stay at the library today because my mom is waiting for a package while sheâs at work, so she asked me to take care of it.â
âOf course.â You take note of his suggestion while the rest of your team rushes to decorate the room and move boxes â some opened, some not. Then, you turn back to him, feeling the slight tremor of his hands against your body, the way the blood rushes alarmingly fast to his face, and how his eyes avoid yours.
âBlushing?â you giggle.
âYouâre not embarrassed? I meanâ Itâs my place, not my dorm or the library, you know,â he mumbles.
You graze a kiss on his soft cheek and grin. âYouâre freaking cute.â
âIâm not joking,â he whines lowly, a small, worried furrow forming between his brows.
âAs am I.â You give his arm a little squeeze. âEverythingâs gonna be alright. I donât mind having you all alone in your house, though.â
And you burst into laughter when he chokes on his own saliva at your words â having never seen someone turn so red before.
~~~~
âI knew you liked physics, but not that much.â
Before coming to set foot in Satoruâs room for the first time, you expected to be dealing with a simple, uncluttered, organized room, and above all far more filled with bookcases overflowing with books rather than...
...the opposite.
Stepping into Satoruâs room feels like entering a nerdy galaxy of controlled chaos. His desk is cluttered with thick physics textbooks, some stacked neatly, others left open mid-read, pages filled with complex equations you canât even begin to understand. Among them, a few manga volumes peek out, half-hidden like a guilty pleasure. Above, a whiteboard covered in messy formulas and doodles dominates the wall, the marker strokes chaotic but somehow full of purpose. His ceiling is scattered with glow-in-the-dark stars, forming actual constellations if you look closely, and a floating moon lamp sat on his nightstand, casting a soft glow over his unmade bed.
Everywhere you turn, there is something to mess with â a plasma ball that lit up at your touch, a Newtonâs Cradle clicking rhythmically on his desk, even a weird futuristic clock displaying time in some incomprehensible format. His monitors hum with life, one running a sci-fi screensaver while another had what looks like a physics simulation heâd probably forgotten about.Â
And yet, despite the overwhelming nerd energy, it was⊠comfortable. Lived-in. A place where ideas sparked and theories came to life â exactly what you could imagine his space would be if youâd thought things through a bit more.
âWow,â you murmur, entranced. âItâs⊠just beautiful. Like a museum.â
âHeh? Youâre flattering me really too much,â he chuckles nervously, scratching his neck where his undercut is. âBut Iâm glad if you like it. I want you to feel home,â he adds softly.
âHome?â You turn to him with a slightly embarrassed and moved smile. âYouâre my home, actually.â
Nothing you say makes sense. Your racing heart lets your mouth babble nonsense and scare Satoru away. Youâre far too embarrassingâ
âI feel the same for you.â
Like a needle piercing a balloon, your vital organ explodes in your chest.
The next second, your brain regains control and orders your legs to move towards him, until your torsos brush against each other and your breaths mingle, giving birth to a gentle flame that burns only to be consumed.
Satoru whispers your name. âCan I try something?â he mouths.
You nod imperceptibly, your gaze lost in his ocean eyes.
Tenderly and with the most delicate gentleness, he cups your cheeks, tilting your head so that your face faces directly forehead to his. So close, you have a detailed view of the number of his light eyelashes, the different shades of blue mingling in his irises, the pleasant warmth of his tepid breath against you.
Then, his lips brush yours first, as if testing your reaction. But when your fingers latch onto his light-brown V-neck sweater, he feels the pressure rise in his blood and slowly, but suddenly, crushes his lips against yours.
Itâs not rushed â just a soft press of lips, tentative, almost careful. As if he's afraid of breaking something fragile. So to encourage him, you sigh softly in contentment, then tilt your head the slightest bit to fit better, closer... Your hands remain gently clasped to his sweater.
He seems to get your message, because the next thing you know, heâs relaxing, moving more slowly and comfortably against yours. The world outside that moment doesnât exist. Just him, just this â his lips, softer than you expected, the careful way he kisses you, as if he is memorizing every second of it. Time stretches thin, and even when you finally pull apart, neither of you move far.
Slowly, you open your eyes, only to find him already looking at you. His gaze is different now â quieter, warmer, like he is seeing you in a way he never had before.
For a moment, neither of you speak. The silence is soft, not awkward, filled with a kind of understanding that doesnât need words. And then, just barely above a whisper, Satoru exhales a quiet, shaky laugh.
âOh.â
Just that â like he hasnât expected this, like heâs still processing the fact that it happened at all. And maybe itâs the way he looks at you, stunned and a little breathless, or maybe itâs just the warmth still lingering between you, but you find yourself smiling, a tiny, barely-there curve of your lips.
âYeah,â you murmur back, voice quieter and warmer than you intended.
Neither of you moved away. Not yet.
You lower your head, a hot flush creeping up your cheeks and neck, and that's when you also understand where his âohâ is coming from.
Oh.
While he turns away to hide his face in his hands and prays to be buried in a grave on the spot, you burst out laughing â a frank, non-judgmental laugh. Simply savoring this pleasant moment with him (albeit with one small problem).
âJust with a kiss? Satoru, I swear youâre the cutest!â you continue to laugh, half-folding with your arms hugging your belly.
âItâs not f-funny!â And the poor guy doesnât even dare turn around as he adjusts his pants, which is where his âproblemâ lies.
Smiling, you move closer to him, your lips still prickling from the perfect kiss. One of your hands slips to his shoulder and gives it a gentle squeeze. âItâs okay.â
âItâs not,â he mumbles, hiding his face again from your sight.
âIt is,â you insist, wrapping your hand around his wrist to look at him. âIâm not judging you, I swear. Itâs not like you can control that, is it?â
âI know, butâ Itâs so embarrassing. I feel like a poor virgin nerd that â well, Itâs not like I am not butââ
You freeze, slowly losing your smile. âWait⊠youâre a virgin?â
He nods, a little shameful pout creasing his lips.
âIââ you trail off. Taking a short breath, you lower yourself a little more to look at him as he covers his crotch with one hand. âI can help you with that, you know.â
His eyes widen, heart hammering in his rib cage. âW-What?â
An umpteenth laugh shakes your chest. âI mean, yeah. I donât mind and I like you.â Then an idea pops into your head, like a lamp regaining its light. âLike, it would make up for the effort you put into helping me get good grades. What do you think?â
He straightens abruptly and gently but firmly pushes your hand away by the wrist. A serious look despite his embrace adds.
âNo way. I already told you I donât want anything in return.â
âBut itâs just to please you,â you insist, flickering your eyes. âDonât you want to know how it feels?â You take a few steps forward until you can wrap your arms around his perfect torso â the ideal balance of slim and muscular.
Your chin rests on his breastbone, a little imploring pout on your lips.
âCâmon, just an oral, I promise. I want to return the favor.â
He swallows hard, lips parted as if the words are stuck somewhere between embarrassment and want. His gaze flickers between your face and the floor, a mix of reluctance and curiosity in his eyes.
âBut Iââ His voice cracks slightly, a nervous laugh escaping him. âI donât know what Iâm doingâŠâ
You smile, a quiet, knowing smile, and slide your fingers slowly down his arm, your touch lingering on his skin. âItâs okay,â you say, your breath barely above a whisper. âIâll guide you.â
You can see him shiver at the words, his chest rising and falling rapidly. You take your time, moving in closer, making sure to leave no space between you. Your lips brush against his jaw, a delicate kiss that makes his entire body stiffen for a split second. He doesnât pull away, though, and thatâs enough to encourage you to go further.
âJust relax,â you tease, pulling back slightly to look up at him. âI promise Iâm not going to bite.â
âI know, I just need to sit a bit,â he whispers, a wave of uncertainty in his eyes.
You pull away from him, feeling the palpable tension between the two of you. âOf course.â You take his hand in yours and guide him onto his bed. When he sits down on the mattress, you find yourself kneeling between his legs.
As your hands busily unzip his straight gray twill pants, you maintain eye contact. âTell me if itâs too much or if you wanna stop, okay love?â
Love.
He nods gently, his elbows pressed into the softness of the mattress to get a view of your movements without him lying down completely. Lips trembling, Satoru feels obliged to bite them to calm himself as the heat almost suffocates him while all he has left is his boxer shorts hiding his growing erection under the thin fabric.
You can feel the air thickening between you, charged with the kind of quiet intensity that makes your pulse race. Your fingertips wrap around the waistband of his boxers and tug them down gently, letting the fabric rub against his length while heâs hissing.
âSweetheartââ
âRelax, Iâm just getting started,â you chuckle fondly.
When the underwear is pulled down, his erection springs free, slamming on his half-covered abdomen. The poor little thing, left alone, twitches painfully â dragging sounds like cute and innocent whimpers from Satoru â like itâs begging for your touch for a decade.
You curl your lips together, genuinely stunned by his size. 7 inches isnât nothing.
âSo youâre packing this from the start?â
âIâ NoâŠâ He sighs, clenching his jaw as his eyes flutter closed. âPlease, itâs already embarrassing.â
âBut why? Youâre beautiful, Satoru. And Iâm not talking about your dick,â you snort. Your gentle, affectionate tone makes Satoru forget how to breathe and open his eyes again. âYouâre beautiful on the inside too.â
âYouâre only flatteringââ
âI am not,â you state firmly, getting up from your knees to straddle his hips and cup his cheeks until they puff like mochiâs and heâs pouting.
Fucking adorable.
âHave you ever been into a relationship?â you whisper after pecking a kiss on the corner of his lips.
He shakes his head, stuttering a no.
âSo can I call you mine? Because Iâd be yours if I could,â you mutter next to his jaw where you peck another kiss that makes him shiver and grip your hips with his hands.
He opens his mouth to say something and hesitates. âA-Are you sure?â he asks, eyes filled with doubt. âIâm a nerd andââ
âAnd my type is nerd guys,â you cut him off before pulling him into a passionate kiss. He gasps, tightening his grip on your as his lips gently taste your and steal his breath away. âI love you, Satoru.â
âLove you more. Since the first time I laid my eyes on you,â he murmurs back between kisses, eyelids shut.
You slightly pull away, a smile springing to your lips. âPinning on me for so long? Aw, sorry to have been blind for this long too, then.â
He resists the urge to take you in his arms and lets you back down onto your knees, this time with his oversensitive cock throbbing in your hands as you begin to stroke it up and down, base to tip with all the slowness you can manage so as not to make him cum too quickly.
Satoruâs hips jerk up instantly, his chest rising and lowering because of his stuttering breath.
âYour hands feel so good and soft,â he whispers, sliding his big hands up to your shoulders, which he gently massages to relax you too. What a gentleman. âSo much better than mineâŠâ
âYeah? You like it?â Eager to please him for his first time, you place a kiss on his angry red tip, licking a little strop with the tip of your own tongue.
âHgnâ easy,â he pants, hands shaking slightly as they interrupt their massages on your shoulders when yours lead them on your head, tangled with your locks. âWhat are youââ
âYou can use my hair, if you want.â And you punctuate your words by taking his length back between your hands and kiss the fat head. It twitches in response, stealing little giggles from your sweet lips. Beads of precum leak along his length, helping you to wet him enough to stroke him faster as you part your lips and slide them down the length of him.
Satoruâs breath hitches when you take him, sucking in slow, deep strokes as your hand grips the base of him. You pull back slightly, your lips sliding back up, and you hear him groan, a sound that makes you ache. You repeat the motion, taking him deeper, sucking harder as you run your tongue along the underside of his cock, feeling him twitch in your mouth before you pull back again.
âFeel good?â you ask sweetly.
âYouâre perfect,â he breathes out â even whimpering in neediness, âthank you so muchâŠâ His hands tighten in your hair, pulling you even closer, but itâs not enough.
You donât stop. Instead, you take him deeper, your lips tightening around him as you move faster, the sound of your mouth on his cock filling the room, drowning out everything else. Satoruâs breath grows shallow, irregular, his body starting to tense, his legs flexing as he tries to hold back.
But you can feel it. The way he is so close, the way his body is winding tighter with every flick of your tongue. His fingers pulled at your hair, unsure to guide you just how he wants because what you were doing is already something heâll owe you all his entire life â he is desperate, needing his release.
âF-Fuck,â he stutters, fingers digging in your scalp deliciously for you pleasure. âI love you, but please, gânnaââ
ââcum? Yeah, do it, love,â you purr affectionately as you teasingly suck his sensitive tip until heâs whining and fighting for his hips to not thrust up and hurt you.
He is there â at the edge â his cock twitching in your mouth, and you know he canât hold on much longer. With one last deep, slow pull, he cums, his hips jerking as he releases into your mouth with a long, desperate groan. You swallow every drop, sucking him clean, your hands gently massaging his thighs as he slowly comes down from the high.
Satoruâs breath is ragged, his body shuddering as he slowly opens his eyes. He looks at you like youâre some sort of angel from heaven, and you smile, wiping the corner of your mouth before standing up.
âFeel better?â you ask teasingly, your voice light despite the heat still pooling in your stomach.
He sighs deeply, rubbing his eyes before carefully sitting up and hugs you in a tight embrace. He blows kisses all over your face, murmuring thank yous and how much he loves you and you find yourself in awe.
âYouâre welcome, itâs the least that I can do for you, after all.â You press a big, firm, and sincere kiss on his cheek, and cannot stop smiling.
The main room is bathed in a deep blue, soft, ambient light, the atmosphere almost otherworldly. Stars shimmer faintly on the walls, and delicate, hanging lanterns cast a stunning cold glow, like constellations scattered across the ceiling. The whole room seems alive, breathing with energy, as guests drift through the space, their laughter and chatter blending into a gentle hum.
At the center of the hall are huge telescopes, available for anyone curious enough to observe tonightâs planet alignment. The most important event of the Spring Formal.
Around the perimeter, tables are set with shimmering candles, their flames flickering softly, casting shadows on the faces of the students whoâve come to admire the setup. The smell of roses and lavender lingers in the air, mixing with the faint scent of freshly baked treats at the snack table. It feels like a dream â a celebration of the night sky brought to life.
Satoru stands beside you, his hand lightly brushing against yours as you both take in the beauty of the room. His smile is small but warm, his gaze drifting from the decorations to the crowd. Thereâs an unspoken pride in the way he looks at you, knowing you had a hand in making all of this happen, bringing the theme of the planets to life with such care.
âThis is... perfect,â he says, voice soft but full of admiration. His words are simple, but they carry weight. You feel a soft warmth settle in your chest at the sincerity in his tone.
A small smile blooms on your lips. âYeahâŠâ you agree, turning to face him fully, now a grin spreading across your face. âIt really turned out great. Thanks to you.â
His cheeks tint pink at the praise, and he shrugs, trying to act nonchalant, but the pride in his eyes is unmistakable.
âYou really made this all come together,â he says, voice full of admiration. âItâs amazing.â
For a moment, you simply smile at each other, a comfortable silence settling between you. The warmth of his gaze makes your heart flutter in your chest.
âWant to dance?â you ask, already knowing his answer, but wanting to ask all the same.
He hesitates for a moment, that same shy, unsure side of him creeping back, but the smile on his lips says everything.
âYeah,â he says, his hand finding yours once again, this time with more confidence. âIâd love to.â
As you both step onto the dance floor, the lights change again, and for a moment, the two of you are surrounded by the glow of the stars and lanterns, your bodies moving to the soft music that fills the room. Itâs not a fast, frantic dance â just slow and gentle, like youâre in your own little world. You feel the gentle sway of the music, and the weight of everything around you fades, leaving just the two of you in perfect harmony.
Maybe itâs the magic of the planets aligning, or maybe itâs just him â but either way, you think, you wouldnât mind orbiting around Gojo Satoru a little longer.
